I think you are right on the money, both with doing blogs by video, and with the way you see DARPA.
With what I know about such things, I have to agree. I think that uncovering the Kammlerstab and Ahnenerbedienst made US planners take what had previously been done in a haphazard fashion and put some serious organization to it.
The connections between Google and the NSA (and who knows who else) put it in a position to mine data as a private company which the government cannot legally do. I think if one were to analyze all such high tech companies, one would see patterns of involvement and influence.
I think there is also interconnection with the entertainment business. Hollyweird has often been the handmaiden of government propaganda, and one can see the evolution of public opinion about such things as torture being heavily influenced by seeding a little bit of a meme at a time into a variety of shows over periods of time.
I’d also bet there are intense studies of how messages given by such popular TV and movie characters impact the public, so as to hone the skills of the modern propaganda machine. They can judge the public’s response to any given situation or change in policy (making torture “okay” and not a violation of American morals, let’s say..), and know how much they can get away with as they steer society in their preferred direction. Don’t want to boil that frog too fast and alert him….
Again I have to return to Stargate SG-1 as a prime example of this very thing played out on TV. All the items and aspects you discuss are explored over the 15 years of SG-1 and SG Atlantis, including conferences where the secret scientists mix with “mainstream” peers and report on highly “dumbed down” versions of their real research.
Even details of cover stories and ploys to misdirect investigations into the bizarre events caused by alien attacks which have to be masked, intrigue by internal factions which disagree on the handling of the technology, and so on to the point of even exploring “disclosure’ by way of other planet’s experiences with it and alternate timelines where it happens on Earth.
Also dealt with are topics like technology hidden in ancient texts and cultures, aliens passing themselves off as “gods,” higher levels of existence, technology which looks like magic, false religions created to enslave people, and a surprisingly high level of moral reflection on the use of technologies which can destroy whole star systems.
One wonders how much DARPA watched and influenced such shows…..(Dollhouse really makes one think as well…)
Looking at the First Earth Battalion and the Pentagon’s investigation into the Human Potential movement (which is declassified, at least in part), we can know for sure that the line of reasoning you take has verifiable paper trails and clues as to the correctness of your deductions. We know for a fact that bits and pieces of what you discuss have indeed taken place – of that there is no question. The only unknowns are degree of organization and development, and that actual lead in decades.
We know from experience that some areas of military/classified research can be at least 40-50 years ahead of the technology made public, and in this day and age, that is a VERY significant gap (and probably growing – I wonder if there is a version of Moore’s Law regarding the acceleration of secret technology related to the amount of time it remains secret and the money spent?).
I have come to the conclusion that the US (and soon the world) has been turned into a huge work camp for the benefit of the breakaway civilization – the trends in food, medicine, labor, laws, and social control read like a stretched out version of Germany in the 1930s.

I don’t think we will be seeing any zero point energy anytime soon. They could have gone in that direction with Tesla. No, I think they will keep us buying expensive gas from the Middle East, and plastic crap from China. That way they can keep us constantly at war, bombing countries and killing people for Israel. It provides a constant fresh supply of sacrificial victims for their Egregore. For the future, I predict more wars, higher gas prices, and more men in black SWAT uniforms, with guns, and clubs.
Having become the first species to throw off the yoke of its genes, our life, in the presence of culture, became ironic:

Animal ethologists call this imprinting; it is difficult to escape the feeling we seem to imprint on our cultures, in a way that is hard to shake off. Part of this imprint culture is to get us to be its shepards.
Instead of adapting to the demands of any one physical environment, our genes have evolved to use the new social environment of human society to further their survival & reproduction. These are adaptations that have wired our minds & bodies for culture.
Calculations of the growth of cities suggest they rely on a steady stream of innovations, to provides new economies, as they need:

One wonders if this is in any way related to new controversial tech conferences like the Tesla Tech conference etc.

Very interesting 3rd video display. I like both written and visual/audio. The later is sometimes very helpful to clear up mis-conceptions. Some times a gesture immediately following a statement says it all or clears up difficult to explain abstractions or concepts?
1.) You started out in what I thought was these ‘wild speculations” but a few moments later (cleared up ) I realized this is very practical or pragmatic thinking or a way of questioning. Anybody in their right mind would do as well.
2.) I like the expression —Literary Mining the scientific papers of Stalin’s Time. (a vital necessity often overlooked by over-confident people? covering-the-bases.)
I might have to take a look into this Richard Dolan business a little more closely. I don’t like the label “Breakaway Civilization. TOO VAGUE —- PR(?) Something to Please Everybody. Sounds like a form of Neutrality and I don’t know if it’s possible to be as Howard Zinn one said, “Neutral on a Runaway Train?” ( this is just me speaking for I realize someone has to be the ‘peacemaker” and sometimes less ‘loaded terms” have to be used?)
3.) Leaks —Ah Ha! Maybe not impossible. Just have Dutch person stick their finger into the wall to stop the leak. No, all kidding inside ——- Bureaucracy is the best way to prevent leaks. So Compartmentised to where no one knows what the right or left hand is doing! (for example there are about 4 and a half billion government documents labeled CONFIDENTIAL — now really, is there a need for such foolishness unless there is a BIG SECRET SOMEWHERE?)
Many Germans thought they were doing their ‘best job” they could devising a Wagon to exterminate. I imagine some were horrified to learn …. they were just one small function in a mennancing assembly line. (this doesn’t really answer the question you posed about leaks!)
Psy-Opts on a massive scale is more like it. Throw in ET, Para, the Moon, and Spinach. That should serve to keep the snoopers who cant mind their own business busy for a while. (Also who is going to believe anyone CRYING WOLF after Neitzsche’s Mister “Z” Lantern Friend came down off the mountain and nobody was listening then as well?)

4.) Cybernetics still ‘scares” me. The idea a mistake in the system or “noise’ as some put it can immediately be attended to reminds me of the function of ‘pain’ in the human body. One can be stupid but a computer can call ahead and warn those who are the worst of the worst who seldom fail. Hard to beat them at their game. Only complete randomness can and I know they got a ‘partial’ program for that too! (but again — over-confidence or fear just might win the day/)
And YES JOE —- I know they (DARPA) might be “whose watching us now?’ kind of scanning for good ideas. Some of these people aren’t egotist who only like information from high places. Some actually give the messenger a raise or a promotion for ‘BAD NEWS.” I would if it was the VITAL KIND! ( lets hope the “ass-kissing YES WOMAN/MEN in DARPA never leave, ha, ha! In case your one ( not you but that imaginary fellow over there eavesdropping) might get a little shook up knowing someone is watching his body twitches and knows what that means. ( a little bit of conscience left -maybe?) He might run and squeal. Let look out for TWITCHING!)
5.) I find this “Mining bright Ideas” out there in the public to be a very wise approach of DARPA? (maybe it’s your approach Joe and they are using it. It gets a little strange in this spy business on who’s watching who?) What with this IDEA of a Collective Unconscious who knows what could pop up — who knows where?
My wife over on a web site called Shift-Network ( DO-GOOD world professionals and such sharing their ideas and resources with each other to get things done because conventionality is too slow now that we have an INTERNET) once made a suggestion To a member of this network to call someone she saw on tv to learn more about cheap or inexpensive water purification systems only to later find out some so called NATO general who was reading her dialogue posts who was about to be reassigned to Liybia jumped in the middle of it and is supposedly going to donate thousands of mosquto nets for they get them a dollar a piece instead of ten the refugee camp would have to pay. ( this last sentence was too long and not a very good way of writing but the content isn’t.)
So what that my wife is some relatively unknown not many people heard from. The job gets done and people benefit is all that matters to her and she is right in her own way.” This is weird when I think about it? This insignificant “nobody” (not to me) can get such (real progress instead of all this ‘DO-GOODERS REFORM NONSENSE) things done with a little bit of luck, ingenuity and the internet!
Until I remember that in the TAO TE CHING on stays in the background and lets the People say look what we done? This is not completely true but it suggests many things.
