WHAT’S WITH ALL THIS SUDDEN RUSH TO “TRANSPARENCY”?

As you all probably know by now I like the folks over in the UK at The Daily Bell, though I am not on the adoring bandwagon of all things in the Austrian School of economics as are they. But there were two articles that really caught my eye. Article number one was about the new "transparency" at America's deepest cesspool of corruption and unearned oligarchical privilege, the Federal Reserve:

Federal Reserve Emphasizes Transparency, as If It Matters ...

Then there's the new "transparency" concerning the death of Osama Bin Laden (remember him? The man who, like General Kammler, died no less than four times under different circumstances? the man whose body had to be quickly disposed of to make damned sure no one could ever question the official story that it was indeed Osama bin Laden?  Yea...him):

Now the Real Killing of bin Laden Is Revealed?

Now, there is I suspect some "Deep Politics" in the Peter Dale Scott sense of the term going on here, and the "deep politics" is this: the oligarchs know that they have lost the people. All their "leading indicators," "market analysts", "sociological forecasts", "deep trend analysis", and of course, their endless coterie of lap poodles in the government, law enfarcement, and so on, will have told them this. The concept of a "vote of no confidence" in these two theatrically corny political parties is now, for example, being increasingly discussed on the internet, and a growing number of people are actually entertaining the idea. I've been casting a Vote of No Confidence since the first miserific experience with the corrupt Bush family, but only because I wasn't old enough to vote No Confidence under Lyndon Johnson. It is a concept that will only grow as the transparency of corruption only grows. There is a deep disatisfaction with Barmitt Obromneyack.

People are fed up with lies, crony capitalism, secrecy... and no institution of the oligarchical clowns more exemplifies the corruption, secrecy, cronyism, and class kookery - the "higher immortality" as C. Wright Mills called it - than does the Federal Reserve Bank. The old Allen Dulles playbook - the calm warm smile for the camera, the gentle stuttering grandfatherly voice saying "Well now that I don't really think would be helpful to get into here" - just isn't working any more, and the oligarchs know it. Best to come clean now, to tell the truth... well, maybe not all of it, just a little bit of it .. to reestablish those dissolving ties... maybe that will work, but in case not, we'd better stock up on hollow point bullets in the tens of millions of rounds...

The Daily Bell is right....much of the problem is monopoly central banking. But beware the obfuscated issues even there: there are gold bugs out there, that want to tell you that fiat currencies and monopoly central banking are one and the same thing. There are gold bugs out there that are telling you a return to "money with intrinsic value" - i.e., a gold standard - is the only solution. What they're not telling you - indeed, they never even raise the issue - of why paper money as a medium of exchange arose in the first place (ever hear of paper money called "gold certificates" and "silver certificates"? I remember spending the latter as a boy...you don't see them any more, not because they were real silver, or ever represented real silver, but quite simply because they weren't issued by the Federal Reserve).

To go back to any bullion backed currency would, in my opinion, be an economy-shattering experience. There is no magic formula "bullion=the end of central banking private currency monopolies". A little time spent with Venice will show anyone that. The Venetian oligarchs were masters at money, that is to say, bullion and coin, manipulation. The real question, it seems to me, remains what it always was and always will be. It is not, as I observed in Babylon's Banksters, so much what money is, but who it represents. If it represents a "who" that is chartered as a privileged monopoly, then the what of money will always be monetized debt, be that represented by bullion or not. If, on the other hand, it represents a "who" that is the public, then there is no logical necessity that compels that money be monetized debt, be it represented by bullion or not. Bullion is an important issue, a discussion that must be had, but it is not the deepest issue.

Money, and this returns us to the main philosophical point here, represents ultimate a trust, a faith, and increasingly the oligarchs realize they are losing the trust and support of the people. Regardless of how many drones, how many spy cameras on stoplights at intersections, how many tazers the law enfarcement officers have, spy satellites, and all the other technological means of potential repression, the inescapable fact remains that no government ultimately survives without the people. Can can expect, therefore, more "transparency," and more lies, more drones, more cameras, and more ammunition purchases... but they can expect less and less support, until finally, they hold a T-bill auction, and no  one shows up to buy, or an election, and no one comes out to "vote" for their pre-selected candidates.

See you on the flip side...

This Obama thing… he’s not like US; that’s the gist of the argument. Go on any Yahoo news item even vaguely political and read the absolutely disgusting racist comments. Then add in what comes up for any item about Asian-Americans or Hispanics. And sometimes about Jews. Usually inarticulate and reeking of ignorance.

But this nastiness is strangely absent when the subject is about some incident way too much for the large majority of Americans to excuse. Makes me think that the whole effort is just well-funded propaganda meant to function as the bread and circuses of a dying econopathic empire. Keep us peasants agitated and fighting each other so we aren’t watching as trickle-up dismantles what remains of the middle class.

Regarding transparency– is it like that alleged crystalline castle on the moon? Or the glass ceiling? Or maybe Glass-Steagall?

Now don’t misinterpret what I’m about to say. I support free enterprise. I just don’t equate that with our current corporate “person” rigged system. Nor with the unwarranted abstraction known as “the market.” A non-thing to which Whitehead’s fallacy of misplaced concreteness amply applies.

Just before the WTO meeting of 1999 in Seattle (and subsequent HUGE counter-demonstrations) I attended lectures on economics that were intended to convince us skeptical working people how this profoundly undemocratic system was actually good for us. A professor of business economics patiently told us that the “market” would serve to regulate ecological problems. His example: that in a desert, water would become more valuable than gold. My comment: that’s only after the situation has deteriorated to desert conditions. The retort: that I didn’t know what I was talking about. Uh-huh. Like the line by Ring Lardner; “shut up,” he explained.

Also notice that the monetary value of anything is relative. Gold is worth something because we believe it is. So is money. My little peasant working class brain was confused, but also curious. A few years ago, I emailed John Smithin of York University (Toronto,) author of “The Revenge of the Rentiers” and of “What Is Money?” He was kind enough to write several replies to my questions. He liked my discription of economics as simply bad theology. That it’s a belief system where mostly older white men waving obscure texts tell the rest of us to obey or else. He assured me that my suspicion that most of the claims don’t make sense was correct. That most of the numerical formulae were not necessary, but served to frighten the uninitiated. And that the idea of money was just that– an idea, not a thing, and not really understood much at all, even by economists.

Interview with nsa’s “compliance officer” (lmao!!):

    http://www.nextgov.com/big-data/2012/08/nsa-computers-sometimes-make-policy-calls/57519/

“we’re nothing if we lose the confidence of the american people”…seems they’re all worried about the consequences of what they’ve been up to.

Zerohedge has a story today on an FBI computer they hacked which contained the confidential data of 12 million iOS users (iPhones etc) and which they were tracking. 12 million…lmao!!

On another note, yes a gold standard would hit the fleeced American public very hard but paper fiat always leads to corruption. What needs to be done is justice. What I mean is, the rotscum, schiffers, warburgers etc etc etc need to be fleeced and that gold redistributed to their victims.

Besides, if we ever did get the banksters’ boot off our necks the world would truly change radically overnight:

http://www.rexresearch.com simply ah-effing-mazing how everything is manipulated. Energy, money, medicine, food ..shit…everything.

If man started the 20th century riding horses and 70 years later was on the moon, why did that exponential progress stop?

Do you have any thoughts about BitCoin, the decentralized digital (crypto) currency unit / global payment network wrapped into one without a single owner?!?

You will see a gold back currency soon but it will be the gold backed yuan. Where is all the gold? It is in China. Chinese are only accepting gold to meet margins of Spanish, French, Italian, Greek bonds fiasco of US banks (to add to their unabated mortgage loan troubles). Banksters are seriously on the ropes. They have been looting private allocated gold accounts of their clients to stay afloat to the tune of many thousands of tons. No gold left in Switzerland? Vatican trying to hold on to its gold reserves as best it can and not allowing itself to be strong armed by banksters to give up gold. Banksters have been outmaneuvered by China, Russia and most likely Germany (but not NI Germans who have been nothing but henchman for the banksters all these years). We may all live to see Nuremberg bankster trials. Rejoice. Although if you are American, your personal finances will go to hell. Morgan Stanley getting set to do a MF Global and steal its 3,000,000 customers investments accounts soon– probably this fall. They are totally insolvent.

Go ahead. Take down Syria. For the next unintended target will be Saudi Arabia and the US petro dollar. If the House of Saud falls, so goes the reserve status of the dollar. And the house of Saud is going down like a Led Zeppelin. This has been planned as well. Contrary to reports, Prince Bandar, Saudi minister of security, has been assassinated. And the gluttonous Saudi royals don’t know where to go because they will not be safe anywhere. I predict their rent in their new home country will be equal to the amount in their bank account. They are doomed. Of course, if the petrodollar collapses so too does the value of our dollars in the US. The collapse of America and not by bankster design as Alex Jones claims. And then the international peace keepers with their pockets stuffed with gold back yuans will arrive to save the day, stop the rioting, monitor the banker and politician lynchings, turn the electricity back on, put food back in the stores, and allow us to exchange our hidden gold for new yuans.

Chinese patience, Russian strategic cunning and German precision = demise of banksters.

    Well, that’s my prognosis.

    • Hapa on September 4, 2012 at 10:57 pm

I think you’re seeing deeply into the matrix, my friend – some great insights for us. I too want to believe the banksters are being outsmarted, or at least outmaneuvered. However this cabal has been at this game for a looooong time. How many years, how many think tanks have been at it? I would think they have plan A, B, C, D and well beyond.

Perhaps they welcome the collapse while not being fully in control of its demise. What’s the plan on the other side?

Still, I get pleasure from thinking that their day is up and they are shitting their pants. They sure are cool cats – they don’t seem to break a sweat. I am eager to see the mask drop and expose the terror that will soon be upon them…

    LSM–

Sorry to have to point this out to you but the Honolulu newspapers most certainly exist, and both announced Obama’s birth at the time.

Then there’s the whole fact that the birth certificate is legit.

    • legioXIV on September 3, 2012 at 4:04 pm

      G’day Jay,

“Then there’s the whole fact that the birth certificate is legit.”

Then perhaps you could please explain to me why the certificate is presented in multiple layers. I am familiar with photoshop, Cs illustrator and other such programs. Scanned documents should not come up in “layers”, there should be only one. And yes I have tested this with my own birth certificate and not one of the programs renders a scan into a multi-layered finished product. Multiple layers point to a created document not a scanned one. Perhaps you know something that I don’t.
Perhaps you could also explain the other anomalies contained within the document, i.e the different fonts that occur throughout the document and sometimes within the same words. This should not happen on a typewriter.

      Respectfully,
      LegioXIV

      • Jay on September 3, 2012 at 4:35 pm

        Legion:

“layers” in a piece of paper? The problem with xenophobes is that if your claims are true then any all all US birth certificates are to be questioned.

I’d assume that it was scanned and printed on that background that’s two layers for the file. Fonts well get me the paper. I shouldn’t have to explain to you that once it’s scanned a document can be tweaked.

The problem is that you also have to deal with the first BI, and the newspapers, and the fact that it wouldn’t matter for presidential eligibility (see John McCain who was not born in the USA).

Y’all read like those who claim that Castro killed JFK, only in that case there’s a real conspiracy and real reason to promote the fool Castro lies. Distraction.

        • legioXIV on September 4, 2012 at 2:14 pm

          Jay:

I will admit that I got quite a chuckle from your reply. Calling an Anglo-Celtic Australian with a Filipina wife who counts Indians, Chinese, Serbs etc amongst his friends a Xenophobe was truly comedic. Thanks I needed that laugh.

As for the certificate anyone with even a slight clue would realise that a scan of a document should contain one layer and one layer only. Try it for yourself and see.
” I shouldn’t have to explain to you that once it’s scanned a document can be tweaked.”
This is precisely my point, the Obama document contains 9 separate layers, I say again NINE, not one. Layers have to be created, they don’t just appear magically. If NINE have been created then it points to “tweaking” on a massive scale. This you can see for yourself. Download the document and open it with illustrator or an equivalent program. If you can’t see what most others see then I would suggest a visit to your optometrist post haste. The document is a fraud and a cheap fraud at that.

Personally I don’t care whether Obama was US born or not, he probably could be US born. In reality he is just another in a long line of Pinnocchio’s foisted upon the people. The election between Romney and Obama is nothing more than the latest installment of the Punch and Judy show. The puppets change but the policies never do.

“but the Honolulu newspapers most certainly exist”, they ALMOST certainly exist or DO they exist? One thing that I have noticed about you Jay is that you hammer people on this sight about sources and providing documentary evidence for what they say. Well now I am going to call you out, I am going to hold you to your same standards.
Do you have a source for this?
          Can you provide a copy?

          • legioXIV on September 4, 2012 at 2:15 pm

And what the hell does Castro have to do with this? I have never subscribed to the idea that “the Beard” did this.

“I am familiar with photoshop”- everybody is-

“This should not happen on a typewriter”- but it did-

I now refuse to answer any of Jay’s commentaries anymore- he just buried his own orthographic skull-

“Y’all read like those who claim that Castro killed JFK, only in that case there’s a real conspiracy and real reason to promote the fool Castro lies. Distraction”-

right- and we all invented the wheel and shot Kennedy from the trunk of the car at the same time- Distraction = Jay-

“Y’all read like those who claim that Castro killed JFK”- since when did any of us read that kind of crap anywhere?- none of us did-

I truly hope you are well, Luke- I always greatly respect your opinions (probably because we always agree- as the saying goes “fools think alike”- am. of course, grossly kidding us both! 🙂

        many warmest regards from me-

I am well thanks for asking and hope you are too.

“as the saying goes “fools think alike””
Well my friend if this is how fools think then I am proud to call myself a fool too haha.

I wouldn’t worry too much about Jay he always gets riled up when someone criticizes Lord Obama and his beloved Democrats. He also loves side track when he is arguing from a weak case, witness the Xenophobe and Castro angles above. Quite humorous really.

I think you and I know the truth in this case as well as many others here.

Thanks for the kind words Larry and I always respect your opinion too.
Hope you are well over there in Deutschland.
          Warmest regards,

This vid is good for a quick chuckle…

“A truly unforgettable video of a mainstream media journalist who is so ignorant about gold and fiat currency that she says, on live Canadian television, gold is backed by “nothing” while the U.S. dollar is backed by “the government.” Therefore, she concludes, dollars are more reliable than gold!”

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1V7n3qRRM60&feature=youtu.be

    * * * * * *

Since gold is now reputed to be as manipulated as diamonds (keeping it off-market to control price), and the bullion-bankers can’t be trusted in any event, I guess what she is saying is that US MUSCLE is what makes the USDollar stable! OMG!

    • legioXIV on September 3, 2012 at 2:29 pm

That’s almost as good as the US congressmen who was worried that if too many people were on Guam then the island would become unstable and sink.

I wouldn’t worry too much about it, there is a rush to be able to say the word ‘transparency’, but heaven forbid anything like real transparency were to be implemented.
I remember one Barack Obama extolling the virtues of transparency in Washington whilst on the campaign trail in 2008; but then again that was before Wikileaks and Bradley Manning; now transparency has become NDAA, and there’s still 5GB worth of BoA emails floating around somewhere, so we can be as transparent as possible as long as nothing is really transparent; the word plays well on msm and we are in the era where the word stands in for the thing itself, so transparency is good pr

  9. Robert Barricklow on September 3, 2012 at 8:19 am

Money should be issued by the peoples’ government. The Who in whoseville, is not an oligarchy of the few; but a representative government of the people. A constitution protecting the peoples’ rights, plus living animals & nature; not the corporations, as the current U.S. constitution, is representing today.

The goal, as expressed by Lincoln:
“Money will cease to to be master, and become the servant of humanity”.

I just heard a claim last night that Kammler died in Texas–I’ve read the Prague claim too.

Seems to me the wide spread use of the energies of nothing, and the physics behind that, can replace currency. And in some cases make precious metals where needed for technological purposes.

    • LSM on September 3, 2012 at 6:49 am

      Hi Jay,

“I just heard a claim last night that Kammler died in Texas–I’ve read the Prague claim too”-

ohh, there are even more interesting claims out there- Peter Levenda’s “Ratline” aside (am about to start reading this), have you read the claim that Adolf, after some plastic surgery, initially went to a secret Nazi base near Glacier National Park after fleeing Argentina and died in a nursing home in Florida at the ripe old age of 114 under the name of William Coates? (yes, you read that correctly)- is posted somewhere on the educate-yourself.org website which sources a radio dude named Don Nicoloff (I forget whether his website is either “evident footprints” or “direct light productions”- either or- can’t retain everything in my numbskull)-

and it gets even better: Nicoloff’s research (?) also proports that Obama is from the seed of the 1960 disappeared Michael Rockefeller (yeah, you also read that correctly) but no mother-source was stated-

I dunno, Jay- it’s just such a whack-o world out there- I certainly don’t believe everything I read but I don’t initially refute anything, either- I just try to keep an open mind and continually sift through mountains of chaff to get to the wheat- haven’t found the initial grain yet but will continue to search for it-

hope you are well- many regards-

      Larry

      • Jay on September 3, 2012 at 8:39 am

Yes, I read the Levenda book months ago, don’t recall anything about Kammler in it.

I’d read that Obama is the clone of Akenaton–yes they were serious.

The problem the Rockefeller claim would be the Honolulu papers, both news and birth certificate. Unless Michael survived the south pacific and moved to Hawaii to breed.

educate yourself is kind of a joke.

        • LSM on September 3, 2012 at 9:32 am

“I’d read that Obama is the clone of Akenaton–yes they were serious”- LOL!- you know they were serious- what you forgot to mention is they reported Obama’s maternal side was a genetic clone of Cleopatra (if my memory of “school” world history is correct, wasn’t “girlfriend” a born Greek?)-

“The problem the Rockefeller claim would be the Honolulu papers”- there are no Honolulu papers- but Obambi’s heritage is a topic for other websites-

“educate yourself is kind of a joke”- maybe yes, maybe no- for the past few years I’ve had a sporadic Email correspondence with Ken Adachi- he seem’s quite sane- what I still haven’t yet figured out is who this entity “ZS Livingstone” is that Adachi sources- I have no idea if this ‘entity’ is credible or not-

in any case Adachi has posted many of my commentaries to his articles (am known as “Larry in Germany”- well wonder of wonders!) so I guess that makes me also “kind of a joke”- and maybe I am, but am just too “stoopid” to realize it- please inform if anyone thinks that’s the case and I’ll shut up and go home-

signing off for now- hope you are well-

Yes indeed, Cleopatra VII was a Macedonian queen of the house of Ptolemy (one of Alexander the not so Great’s generals) So Obama is what happens when you combine an Egyptian with a Macedonian….. interesting.
You have got to love all these “out there” claims, they are good for their comedic value if anything else.
            Have a good day mate,
            Luke.
