SOCIALIZING TRANSHUMANISM
Special thanks go out to a friend, Ms. P.H., for sending me this one. When I first saw the subject, I was a little skeptical, but as I read, the importance of the subject matter, and the reasons for it, became all too clear:

So why my concern here?
Well, stop and consider.
Regular readers here will know of my interest in transhumanism as a cultural phenomenon. Indeed, my co-author Scott D. de Hart and I were most taken not only with the ability of transhumanism to transform individual lives, but as we attempted to show in our book Transhumanism: A Grimoire of Alchemical Agendas, the phenomenon may be the most significant culturally transformative and sweeping paradigm change in all of recorded human history (at least, the kind of human history one learns in colleges and universities). As I've said many times, we appear to be entering one of those 500 year periodic cycles, at the same time as new technologies and new ways of viewing the world and mankind's place in it are transforming human society and culture. Like the last five hundred year periodic shift, this change is being driven in large part by physics and physicists. Then it was Copernicus and Kepler and eventually the alchemist (!) Newton and the hermeticist Leibniz that transformed the culture. Now it is quantum mechanics and non-locality and John Stuart Bell and Heisenberg and Schroedinger and a host of others. Biology, however, and more specifically, genetics have also entered the picture, and both of these sciences are driving a revolution in world view and culture.
Much of this is, of course, being driven by technologies that Dr. de Hart and I could only qualify as alchemical in t heir significance, for they herald an attempt at the transmutation of the essence of man in all its aspects: physical, emotional, and intellectual. Perhaps, even spiritual. We wrote in our book, and I have written here, about the promises of nanotechnology and genetics for wholly new kinds of medicine and even of the prospect of massively enhanced longevity. Robotic and cybernetic technologies hold the implication, for some transhumanists, of enhancing human intellectual capabilities and memory, and for some, even the prospect of "downloading and uploading" a person's entire memory, in a kind of virtual immortality. And as I have also detailed here on this site, and as Dr. de Hart and I wrote in our book, agencies such as DARPA are exploring a variety of transhumanist technologies to create the super-soldier, i.e., soldiers with enhanced endurance and physical capabilities, able to carry more, travel farther, on less sleep and less food, and to significantly outperform their "mundane" counterparts, i.e., the natural man or woman.
These enhancements have encompassed everything from drug-enhancements, to cyber-implants, and even, as a reader of this site even suggested in a comment, bio-engineered computer and information processing "hardware" that would conceivably be completely undetectable. Other technologies include exoskeletons to magnify muscle performance, and so on. It is the fusion of man, and machine, to produce a new kind of transhumanist "super man" with "super powers."
Now, none of this, as the above article makes clear, will occur in a vacuum. It will have an effect on humans, and on human society, and on the way humans interact with each other. Inevitably, studies will have to be done to determine what the psychological and social impact of all of this will be. Will humans use these new capabilities for good, or ill? Imagine being given to leap tall buildings in a single bound, as it were. How would one use such capabilities. If the above study is reliable and similar results are obtained elsewhere, then it would suggest that most humans, given the ability, would attempt to use them for the benefit of others.
That, at least, is a hopeful sign. But let's not send up the fireworks in celebration just yet. After all, the fact that DARPA and similar agencies are talking about all this should give one pause. And one might also ask, where are the studies of what decadent power-mongerers might do with it?

Unfortunately the Elites will use this technology to trun out their superman to enslave and distroy the rest of us as usual.
Most people are well socialized with certain ideals, i.e. help other people, etc., but did the study look at what they will do when pressured by authority or circumstance? Those studies show that most people would torture and kill others if pressed by the right authority.
I think that such tech would never be offered to people who weren’t heavily conditioned to accept command from the “proper” chain of authority. The elite would be too worried about a Bourne waking up to the scam.
Also, if they are talking about this in the open press now, you can bet they have already been doing it, at least at some level. The tech that is available just in the open is pretty interesting already – remote controlled drones of various kinds, biochemical enhancements like HGH, stimulants, enhanced healing with IR devices, etc.
If you want to know how these “powers” will be used, look at Special Operations troops and what they do. Those folks are our current versions of such “superheroes.” Whether they are doing good or evil often depends on which end of the gun you are facing, which in turn depends on where you are on the elite’s chessboard.
And as far as studying how the elite would use such power, consult Machiavelli or just look at history. The fact that they are studying how to remove emotional factors such as conscience is a clear indication of their intent.
Unfortunately, the Industry of Murder Incorporated with Bombs Bursting in Air, gets first dibs on any new innovative thoughts that bubble to the surface of the collective research landscape. Once the brutes have patented the processes, you can forget about improving the environment or freeing the masses from the burden of the elements…….think Tesla and what happened to other such momentary bursts of brilliance………..converted into predator drones and missiles.
It doesn’t take much of a leap to contemplate the consequences such misappropriated mental acuity introduced into an already toxic ‘alchemical’ crucible of currently boiling lead to perceive the outcome such demented children playing with matches will likely produce.
Imagine the Petro-Pharma-Chemical Industry with the Brujo’s from Monsanto hovering over the cauldron on top of mount Mordor………darkly magnified by several depraved luminosities.
Before anything good can come of this, Maat must be forcibly restored: The pyramid must be turned on its head, where the pinnacle of ‘gross’ power rests under the foot and weight of the people.
they have too trust some of us with the weapons though….there is a obscured incident during the American civil war, that demolished a good quarter of New York.
Recently kidnapped Irsihman, were formed into a regiment of Northern cattle fodder, but as soon as they got there rifles they turned on the officers and nearly burnt down gotham city.

This was the theme in a book I just finished, Nexus-Mankind Gets An Upgrade. A oligarchy of power ruthlessly controlled this technology. But some “Borne” soldiers, renegade univerisity geniuses, and othe religiouds leaders, especialy Buddhist(author’s religion?) found ways to “release” the technology worldwide, outside the “corporate handcuff controls”. Still the “genie” was out of the bottle. And mankind was on the was towards transhimanism, and eventualy – a Posthuman world.
So it looks like the fight against this Transhumanism/posthuman world, is going to be one of whose at the “controls”? The Rothchilds/Rockefellers or the people as a whole?
So far, the track record favors the corrupted “house”, in the long run. Bornes, winning here & there; but down the stretch?

Well, looks like a sequel “Crux” is coming. I won’t be reading it. I don’t look forward at all to any of these scenarios(transhumanism/posthuman) taking place. To me it’s a heads They win, tails You lose bet. But, what else is new?

Its a paradox, the least intelligent being blissfully unawares of there stunted intellect perceive themselves with a flick of the tongue on equal to god himself and with violence, lies and theft proceed to destroy gods creations, whilst those gifted humble themselves at the complexity of anything and marvel at the follies of the fools nakedness
or consider the point (humans aside) if soul-less computers suddenly reach a point where they become aware of themselves (if we continue to go the way we’re already headed I don’t find that concept far-fetched at all) and subsequently turn on their masters, a là the computer HAL in Kubrick’s “2001”- at least we humans have a soul as a system of checks and balances
the plan of good and evil….it is working so well………..for the evil cunts.
I have to wonder if a computer could become aware of self unless it eats from the “Tree of the Knowlege of Good and Evil” or esoterically being programmed with an Ego of Guilt and Desire. Play one against the other!
If programmed only with following instructions then it would become the perfect sheeple much like the transhumanistic plan that we have already been under since who knows when!
The Ego programming seemed to be at least manageable but with much more problems.
Maybe we sheeple need to be “Born Again”
I think that somewhwere in history some group made it to the Tree of Life and their forgotten knowlege/gene must be filtered out before the switch turns back on. It must be very near because the present controllers have been working overtime since WWII.
If the timeline can’t be met then perhaps it would be time for “Them” to leave or go underground before they set fire to the fields.
The present controllers will never use any benefits gained for the people unless it benefits them more. They work only off of the High Ego with no regard(soul/consciousness) to Guilt.
It is my opinion (no certainty here) that stories where the underdog win out over the “evil masters” are just propaganda to keep the little folk happy, they are literally fictional stories intentionally seeded into the public domain.
Especially in this age of TV, movies, and internet, most Americans could care less about reality. If it’s on TV or in a movie, “it must be true.” They don’t need real freedom. As long as they can watch a TV show or a movie where the “good guys” win out over the “bad buys,” they’re happy.
Personally, I doubt very seriously that when technology is used to “enhance” people, they won’t throw in a few control mechanisms to keep the newly-enhanced critters in line. It seems pretty clear that numerous types of “kill switches” would be far, far easier (and cheaper) to implant into people than any kind of enhancement. Do you really think they’re going to create “super soldiers” without leashes ?????

bdw000, Interesting theory. Do the Grimms’ Fairy Tales fit the bill? Then apparently we are going way back with this story telling social engineering:

the Cinderella tale mirrors the story of Ahknenaten, which i suspect has been fabricated somewhat.
the object of the “game” has been to domesticate humans, breed them for certain attributes, and self terminate the undesirable specimens. from an elite perspective or a natural progression/ recession of civilizations….somewhere along the line, the prisoners take over the prison/ estates and become the new guards. Having no idea how to run it efficiently, it crumbles….they are still in a prison, but are allowed to walk around freely…until the day the diner bells stop ringing..
If the elites control this “technology” from a “closed system”, it will be dystopian in nature.
If the people control it from an “open system” it will be; well, better by leaps & bounds.
CORPORAL Jesus, Hitler….the corporation of man into slavery…..and its destined for destruction, by these weapons, it is an eventuality as sure as any game has an ending. A house of cards.

It’s everywhere you look in their media. Just before getting to this site a picture of a prize winning model was on the page saying she won because of genetic roulette. The meme of “inferior humans for now, progressing to inferior humans for later in the game.
As I’ve said before, “Public, Enemy #1”.
