GMOs: THE CONTRAST BETWEEN CONGRESS AND THE DUMA
Many of you sent me these two stories, and some of you even did so in the same email, indicating that the readership here is probably seeing the same geopolitical stew brewing that I've been predicting for some time. In review them here in order to renew a prediction I've been making, and make a new one. The two articles are concerned with a possible complete ban on GMO importation by Russia, and, moving as always in the opposite direction, the Congress of the USSA is considering legislation banning GMO labeling:

It is of course interesting that both of the articles emanate from RT, Russia's international mouthpiece. And that is really the story here. We're all familiar by now with the tactics the agribusiness giants such as Mon(ster)santo and DuPonzanto have practiced to ensure an unlevel playing field between GMOs and normal "heirloom" seeds and crops, even to the point of suing farmers who, through no fault of desire of their own, have had GMO crops discovered on their fields by the corporate spies. There is little to be said for such behavior on the part of these companies, other than that it is despicable.
More recently I've blogged about the calls in the Russian state Duma for a moratorium on GMOs, and for a prolonged inter-generational study of their effects, effects which a growing body of scientific literature is suggesting are not the wonderful boon to humanity that they are touted to be. In that respect, I've been suggesting for some time that in addition to the looming establishment of bilateral currency trade between the BRICSA nations, and the eventuality of their own mechanism of international financial clearing, that another blow would be struck against western financial and geopolitical power by taking direct aim at one of its largest sectors, agribusiness, and that it would do so via the issue of making GMOs an international geopolitical and human rights issue.
In this context, Russia seems to be bearing out the prediction, for such sentiments uttered by the Russian Duma are one thing, but when they come from the mouth of a former Russian President, Mr. Medvedev, himself a close ally and associate of Mr. Putin, the geopolitical signals being sent are clear and unmistakable. For the moment, Russia is confining that agenda to its own domestic policies, but I suspect that the announcement concerning the Duma, and now Mr. Medvedev, suggests they are following a careful and deliberate timetable, one leading to the eventuality that Russia may enter the international agribusiness market in direct competition with the western agribusiness giants. And the model will be clear: heirloom seeds, no royalties, and no KGB spies poking around farmers' fields to ensure that no patented crops are appearing in violation of licencing agreements, no lawsuits against farmers, vs the practices of Mon(ster)santo, Duponzanto, and the like, which more closely resemble the practices of the KGB in substance and form. One can predict the inevitable market reaction... Russia, in other words, appears to be confirming my predictions and suspicions.
But what of the Congressional action? I suspect, this too, is but a stage in a wider and probably secret agenda cooked up in the frankenfood boardrooms of these hideous companies, who, confronted with growing market opposition, are simply resorting to the coercive power of the state to deny people and states reasonable access to information concerning the food they're putting into their bodies. They won't stop there... It is entirely possible, given then non-responsiveness and non-representative nature of the USSA's governmental institutions and their inability to represent the people, but only too big to fail and too big to jail corporations and banks, that these corporations will seek the ultimate in their mercantilist dreams: a requirement that farmers grow nothing but their "scientifically tested and safe" products. By seeking such legislation, they've already declared themselves against freedom, and they won't stop with a prohibition on labeling.

Incidentally Larry, the Rockefeller Foundation has been involved in eugenics and genocide since it began funding the eugenics research in Germany in the 1920s and well into the Third Reich. The American corporate giants have gone to war previously to protect their own interests, dragging the American people along with them, using false pretenses as their cover story. I wouldn’t be surprised if they do it again, so I hope Russia knows what it’s getting itself into. Don’t get me wrong, I wish someone would go to war with them, but they are so powerful now that I am not sure the outcome would be what we’d hope for, as they seem to have gotten their way in nearly every endeavor that they pursue.
I also wonder about the general story of Putin being the strong leader and the western leaders being taken for a loop by his recent actions, the CIA being completely unaware that this was in the cards, even though the CIA supposedly was stirring up unrest in the region. What if the CIA was stirring up trouble and goading Putin into doing what he’s doing, for their own purposes? Yes, Russia has the oil, but they are completely dependent on the money from that oil for their economy, so take away the sale of their oil, and what happens to their economy? Then the sanctions against Russia take on more meaning.

And finds the world ruled by gangsters Too bad the serial didn’t go deeper with that idea. If they had it would have been more precedent today than when it was made. The corporate complex(within the privatized international banking cartel) is like an economic dark star that has drawn into itself all the independent businesses that were once the economic pillars of what was once known as “America”.
It is becoming increasingly clear that unless you are a sheeple dancing to the alphabet news and concentrating on athletic scores, you are already either buying seeds for your tiny urban raised bed garden or visiting local farmer’s markets for your vegetables. Remember that most farm animals, i.e. food, are also fed processed grains or pellets, too often frankencorned. That means looking to grass-fed animals and truly free-ranged poultry. Unfortunately, the definition of free-range simply means the animal isn’t in a cage. It is the cheaper way to raise livestock but you have to have the productive lands to do it… hence, the frankencorn supplements.

Russia is being run by professionals. The US, by a guy with an obligation to Russia (off mike comment validates that theory) and a scared populous of Congressional puppets who will do what they are told to do. Americans (in flyover country) are getting very fed up with our amateurs in office and, so, predictably, these are very dangerous times for all of us. The Bundy Ranch episode is the first of many to come and, while no one can predict the final outcome, we can predict that some episodes will not be ready for prime-time, if covered at all.
I think it is time to learn to speak Chinese (Mandarin).

if anyone commits suicide due to “depression” it’s because the psychotropic drugs prescribed to them by pill-pushing psychiatrists (don’t get me started on the subject of psychiatry otherwise I will rabidly bite anyone’s head off) to alleviate their depression made them even more depressed (gosh- what a concept)- I have this from first hand experience due to the hideous, untimely (understatement) death of a former female co-worker who suffering from manic depression (medical diagnosis) hanged herself a few yrs. ago (if the statistics are correct hanging is the least favored form of female suicide which means she must’ve been extremely desperate)- so read between the lines-
my point: if this man was really suffering from depression we can be sure he didn’t get depressed on his own volition-

In a fear state, it is impossible to see.
I think it is a bit more complicated then that. Psychotropic drugs have very bad side effects and sadly most psychiatrist only knows those.
But ailments like schizophrenia, some forms of depression give after every episode mental degradation. Manic depression is very difficult to balance and a enormous strain on yourself and everyone around you. The medication used is simply poison.
Mental illnesses are cancer of the soul and thru conventional healthcare not good treatable.
The suicide often occurs when the person is balanced and in full controll of faculties and realises the situation he/she is in. It is also very frightening to know that you can loose al your faculties within minutes.
Society isn’t tollerent about mentall illnesses either and patients selldom get visitors when comitted.
The whole of society ignores their needs after all they are a minority unable to defend themselves often living in the steets in a deplorable way.
So no, not the healthcare workers should be blamed for healthcare still stuck in the middle ages the whole of society should be ashamed. Playing victim behind conspiracy theories seems to be a new fad these days and I am frankly sick and tired of it.

am not sure suicides occur when a person is balanced and in full control of things; I think it’s the opposite; due to psychotropic drugs (thanks to pill-pushing psychiatrists) the individual is mentally levitating between induced multiple worlds and not one of these illusional ‘worlds’ is to his/her benefit;
otherwise I agree totally with your statements-

To grey the picture a little someone very close committed suicide and I know he took no pills. Sometimes people don’t need pills. Life is tough enough anyway.
