Just verified with a major domain provider that the outages are affecting sites all across the web. Some major service providers are down, etc. It's December 12, the 41st anniversary of some angry little troll's pet outrage, perhaps, but we're holding tight here and doing out best to provide good Giza doses of content for our readers and viewers. Kudos to Daniel for taking good care of us, it was definitely challenging in the vidchat tonight! One of the folks in the room posted a link to this site – http://map.ipviking.com/? – which shows in real time the origins and targets of attacks. The US has been getting hit hard from all over the world, especially from China. One sys admin of a small organization I spoke with later said they were getting hit with 1000s of bogus login attempts per second (not per minute), per second. And that’s what we were up against, so thanks again Daniel!
Yes this happen to me when I went to post a comment today on this website. I had to wait about two hours to post my comment so yours wasn’t the only website that went down who were the other websites affected any pattern among them.
