The GMO pseudo-food isn’t economic and the real market has spoken. IT STINKS AND THERE POISONS and we’re going back to the REAL MACCOY.

To explain the revolt against GMO foods as “… happening without any state intervention. The businesses are responding to their customers” is just plain misleading, glossing over decades of mercantilism. The trend described here is happending DESPITE heavy political intervention to support the GMO industry. This is not to say that there is no grassroots, small/medium size producer drive to restore natural food. It is just unhelpful to dress it up in terms of the “free market vs state control” meme which, though useful for socially engineering the Anglosphere political setup, is very far from the real situation.

      Agreed!

“Free-Markets” try to break through the strongholds of monopolies, oligopolies, monopsonies, and other government-subsidized-toxic-weeds that are choking the growth out of ALL “free-markets”.
