IN THE WAKE OF FUKUSHIMA, JAPANESE RESEARCH IS DOING SOME VERY ...

This great article was found by a regular reader here, Mr. E.W., who shared it. I find it highly intriguing because there has just been news that the second reactor at Tokyo Electric's Daichi Electrical Nuclear power plant may be on the verge of meltdown. There have been the usual appraisals within the media that the lack-luster response of the Japanese government to the disaster, even as it was ongoing, was do to the "celebrated" Oriental characteristic of not wanting to lose face or be embarassed. I even read, on a couple of occasions, a couple of ...well...ridiculous articles attributing it all to the Japanese sense of bushido, an analysis that left my simultaneously laughing and mystified, as if someone was suggesting that Japan's solution to the Fukushima problem was to get out the samurai swords and commit a kind of collective national suicide. On the more suerious side, I had suspicions then, and continue to maintain them, that the disaster that befell that country was not entirely a natural event, and that nasty players were involved. The  then-Japanese government was making a serious attempt to mend old wounds with China, and the Chinese were actually listening. Then came the warnings of then-Secretary of Defense Gates to Japan, warnings which were, as you'll recall, little more than threats. And then came...Fukushima. The geopolitical context, in other words, was suggestive of more than simply acts of God or nature.

So what, exactly, are the Japanese up to? Well, for one thing, besides rearming, they've been continuing their massive cold fusion research efforts, this time, with a view to use low-energy nuclear reactions as a means of cleaning up nuclear waste:

Researchers seek method to clean nuclear waste

COnsider the implications of these paragraphs in the Fukushima context:

...Yasuhiro Iwamura, a former Mitsubishi Heavy Industries nuclear expert, now a specially-appointed professor at Tohoku University, joined the project in April. The research team has embarked on the following nuclear transmutations: turning radioactive palladium, which emits beta rays for hundreds of thousands of years, into radiation-free and stable tin; transforming radioactive selenium into stable strontium; changing radioactive zirconium into ruthenium; and turning radioactive cesium into praseodymium, which has a half-life of only 13.6 days.

Experts say that the radioactive materials listed above are the most challenging to process among nuclear power plant byproducts. The government has selected the research team's method, aimed at turning nuclear waste into radiation-free material, as one of the project candidates for its Impulsing Paradigm Change through Disruptive Technologies (ImPACT), a program of government-sponsored research launched in 2014.

More than 10 institutions, including Tohoku University and Mitsubishi Heavy, are taking part in the nuclear transmutation research project, partially funded by ImPACT. The research focuses on hitting radioactive material with neutrons to change the number of neutrons inside atomic nuclei so that the material will not emit radiation. However, until now, only large-scale facilities have been able to generate and accelerate the neutrons used in the transmutation process.

Thus, Kasagi and other researchers have decided to conduct research triggering nuclear transmutation through reactions between radioactive materials and deuterium gas or hydrogen gas, a far simpler method.

...

People engaged in the business of  nuclear power didn't believe in the possibility of cold fusion back then, said Iwamoto. "But we need the technology for transforming radioactive waste into safe matter."

Of course, this is a long way from any practical method of being able to deal with the Fukushima disaster, much less its evironmental impacts in the Pacific, where already plant life is showing signs of mutations. But it does raise the context for our high octane speculations. Japan has long been a heavy investor in cold fusion, and its scientists have been at the forefront of documenting anomalous findings that are difficult for conventional scientific models to explain. So suppose, for a moment, that Japanese scientists were able to contrive a cheap, easy, cost effective, and most importantly, enviromentally effective way to transform deadly nuclear waste from reactors, or otherwise, into harmless matter. Suppose for a moment they even find a way to do so with those most deadly substances, highly enriched uranium or, even more deadly, plutonium, or cesium, or cobalt, or strontium... suppose they found a method to clean up "nuclear spills" similar to the bacteriological technologies developed to clean up oil spills? So let's extend our high octane speculation. If such a method were to be found, I submit it might be as much a bad thing, as a boon, for such a technology, for certain warped individuals, would mean that the normal deterrents to the use of nuclear weapons, the fallout and after-effects, would be substantially removed. On the other hand, such a technology - to really extend our speculation - could equally be possible to transmute normal harmless matter into deadlier forms.

Whatever one makes of such high octane speculations, however, Japan now has pressing national security reasons to pursue every avenue, even the ones conventional science would prohibit, toward the solution of a national emergency. THe old adage is that necessity is the mother of invention. And the Japanese are good inventors. The bottom line here is this is a quiet story, and a new chapter in the cold fusion story, and it's one to watch, for rest assured, the intelligence agencies of the great powers are watching it, and probably also doing their own experiments, if they have not already done so.

See you on the flip side...

thanks goshawks. that had to have hurt. try to stay whelmed (as opposed to overwhelmed) by all the subliminals still raging through those pics. yep they only seemed to have saved magazine page ads. given family history with it, i wanna go watch “they live” a few times. wonder what kinda subliminals Carpenter had to tolerate to get that out.

as regards tech glitches here, seems the whole site’s being worked on. options for email notification, order of comments posting, all those different features are changing quickly. i’m advocating patience. jesu bless the souls keeping this web system running as smoothly as it is – with this much traffic and detail.

thank you to Joseph and whoever Giza’s man behind the curtain is.

    Dr Ferrell,
    my first direct request:
not sure what topic to line this up with but here goes
the minute i finish talking with goshawks on anti-epistemology and subliminals and on, i get this from a friend in uruguay –

so what exactly is the difference between slick fascist nazi run adverts and subliminal work? and when we aren’t being mislead by disinfo are we being mislead into false dialectics about whether to be for or against immigrants or to be for or against seccession or to be for or against access to actual food or…..?
    thank you,

A few events and comments on them come to mind here.

First, remember the forklift stabbing the water dam (big water balloon) protecting Fort Calhoun’s cooling pumps from being flooded out a couple years ago? It was to be multiples of times worse than Fukushima.

Second, any one take a look at Chernobyl and surrounding areas recently. Beautiful wilderness being studied and no problems for the population controllers keeping us lower income rifraff out. Seems they’re big believers in Chicago style real estate redevelopment (albeit slightly longer term). problem reaction solution? from chaos comes order?

Third, a few theories confirmed and or almost confirmed from March, 2011. And beyond.

Third might work out to be three through nine of a list.

Let’s see, the epicenter of the quake was at about 9.5 or 10 kilometers. ELF waves were proven decades earlier to be capable of triggering such. Examples of previously human triggered earth quakes have almost always epicentered at 9.5 to 10 kilometers deep. BTW that’s such an odd depth that one can look over past lists, pull all the quakes at that depth and note the odd points about each. Mr Global has for years gone way past haarp capabilities with nexrads and beyond. That tool/weapon is way portable now. The skies in the area were noted for their odd heavily chemtrailed appearance. TEPCO lost control of their computer systems at Fukushima at just the wrong time making it impossible to bring pumps up to protect the formerly water cooled rods. That system was brought down by Stuxnet (US Israeli intel product) which could only have gotten in through computer system maintenance staff offline in a facility guarded by an Israeli security company. The flood walls were built to 15′? high in an area know to have historical tidal waves of 40′. The neocons/libs have done their usual redevelopment in the area. The local population has been crushed out while new big developers have walked in paying pennies on the dollar. Old two lane roads and small houses were refused rebuild permits. Instead 6 lane roads and big hotels go in lightning fast. Similar to New Orleans, Aceh,…. which should make us more suspicious of events surrounding these other Chicago business school boys approaches to calamity.

Remember the old joke of retired lumberyard owners in Florida? Insurance paid them off when the first one’s yard burned and the second one’s yard blew away in a tornado. The first former owner asks the second, how do you start a tornado.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lo7Pf37tMpw

If we can imagine it, it’s doable and probably already done. The question comes up again – how do we learn and get done what we want instead of what’s wanted by an apparently parasitic breakaway class? Is this the same problem faced by generations of castes in India in a system devised and in place by the brahman caste?

Zendogbreath, you might want to read “The Shock Doctrine: The Rise of Disaster Capitalism” by Naomi Klein (2008). It has garnered 725 reviews at Amazon with a 4.3 out of 5.0 rating.

I wrote a ‘review’ of this book at Amazon on March 26, 2009, consisting of many pertinent quotes from the book. A warning about this book: It is educational, but it will p**s you off…

Zendogbreath, thanks. The Neil Sanders book(s) sounds like a more-modern take on Wilson Bryan Key’s book “Subliminal Seduction” (1974). Key’s book kicked off the whole ‘who’s controlling me’ awareness for the public.

I actually saw an example of that on a billboard by the freeway in Seattle around 1980. I had read Key’s book, and this billboard kept attracting my attention. Finally, after numerous ‘passes’, I got it:

It was a cigarette-pushing ad. A pretty woman was up on a ladder painting the word “DELIGHT” (in yellow) in a large arc, while holding a cigarette. In an apparent swoon of ecstasy, she had just painted a large, vertical (different color) ‘stripe’ between the D and the E. Together, they ‘spelled’ the word “DIE” in a subliminal fashion.

I imagine a lot of smokers passing that billboard suddenly felt a surge of anxiety, and a resultant urge to light-up – to squash-down that emotion. (Dense smoke in the lungs causes the body to jump into survival mode, suppressing the emotions.)

          It is an interesting world…

          • goshawks on October 9, 2015 at 12:31 pm

Only the D and E letters of DELIGHT were filled-in with yellow. The others were just ‘outlines’ to be filled-in later. Forgot to mention that detail. Much more to the point…

          • goshawks on October 9, 2015 at 1:00 pm

“GOLDEN DELIGHT” was the actual, full arc. (I forgot the first word.) Only the D and E were filled-in, with all the other letters as only outlines. That way, the D and E were ‘dead center’, if you’ll pardon the pun. And, the vertical ‘slash’ between the D and E was also in yellow paint. (Funny how the subconscious dredges things up, after some decades in limbo.)

btw, think we’d all be surprised how aware folk are even when they read less – at least less thoroughly read friends than folk who lurk here. had friends allergic to printed word turn me on to ideas i didn’t think they’d considered like “they live.”

given the capabilities and the history, am wondering if there isn’t a motive to get us online to get more subliminals into folk than what other venues already afford.

yeh as a former smoker am well aware of the biofeedback loops. as a former chronically ill person, take pride in belief (and sometimes proof) that we are all capable of doing anything big pharma can do without big pharma’s products as long as we have access to good food, water, sleep, movement and intel.

sometimes though, one has to wonder
            https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5R_-75Z6m3Q&feature=em-uploademail

are mr global messing with us about messing with us? is it some lame attempt to see who gets the irony and who’s not aware enough to get it?

perhaps Doc can start another thread on spencer stone and alek skarlatos.

            thank you,

Zendogbreath, I scrolled through all of the 1970s & 1980s. I feel like I’ve been slimed. The closest one in style was:

            http://www.vintageadbrowser.com/tobacco-ads-1980s

1980s, page 1. 6th row down, in left column. “Adam (1982)”

The ad that was on the billboard was of a single woman on a ladder (no man), and the “GOLDEN DELIGHT” was in a single arc, not a double line. Otherwise, much the same subliminal message. Perhaps what is shown here is a magazine version, attuned for a slightly different audience (and not for automobiles zipping quickly past).

          • goshawks on October 10, 2015 at 3:21 pm

Hmmm. Another ‘technical difficulties’ disappearance of a posting. Last night, I responded to zendogbreath regarding finding a close-copy of the above-billboard at his “tobacco-ads” site. No sign of that posting, as of this moment. We’ll see…

The ‘magazine’ version of the ad is at: 1980s, page 1, row 6, left column, “Adam (1982)”.

The billboard woman was up on a ladder (no man), and the GOLDEN DELIGHT was in a single arc rather than two columns. Otherwise, the ‘subliminal suggestion’ was much the same…

It is ironic that this research of shooting neutrons into radioactive isotopes is being promoted separate from the Elephant in the room: Multi-ton piles of slightly-used, enriched-Uranium rods are piling-up in the fuel pools of most nations.

What was then-called a Breeder Reactor was supposed to safely render the radioactive by-products inert (through neutron bombardment), while generating electricity from the remnant Uranium. (On the dark side, it was designed to ‘breed’ materials suitable for warheads.) Carter killed that nearly-ready technology, probably as a favor to the people really-owning the oil & coal interests.

Flash forward a few decades, and various permutations of Thorium Reactors are poised to do much the same thing, on an industrial scale. The technology has been tweaked to render-inert the dangerous radioactive by-products while using up the still-useful Uranium and producing power. (Unfortunately, the process can still be ‘tweaked’, if desired, to produce U233 which is lower-yield but still useful in warheads.)

The Thorium Reactors have been proven, and are now in the scaling-up phase. Russia and China, in particular, are racing ahead. America, being owned by said oil & coal interests, has its head in the sand…

This reusing of spent-fuel cannot come too soon. One controversial site author – whom I cannot mention here – has noted that a grossly-overfilled fuel pool makes a perfect ‘dirty bomb’, just waiting to happen. Simply knock-out the recirculating-water electrical-supply, and you have a self-generating ‘dirty bomb’. Really bad. We need to process those fuel rods ‘away’ as soon as possible – on an industrial scale…

Mr. Global stepped in to made sure they became radioactive.

Gold is also a heavy metal, it must be said.

Sure sounds like modern-day alchemy to me. Such a technology, if the Japanese can pull it off, will literally pay for itself.

There have been allegations that the PTB were actually trying to take pressure off the Pacific plate by causing the event(?) that caused the tsunami. However, that being said, that GE nuke plant was a time bomb just waiting to fail.. So, was it inadvertent or planned destruction?? Note, the Pacific Ocean has taken it in the shorts. Jean Marie Cousteau refuses to eat Pacific tuna and for good reason. So, the PTB or either Nero crazed inbred ID-10-T’s or they wanted to inflict a culling on the Japanese population. My guess is both. Once again, a tip of the iceberg situation. Where the aftermath is all we can see.

As I have written before nuclear reactors are dirty bombs in plain sight. Ready to be set off at a moments notice the perfect terror weapon. The technology mention in this article would make nuclear power safe and lead to better power generating in the future. The one thing our psychopathic elites hate killing and maiming living things is all these sadists live for.

  10. Lost on October 8, 2015 at 5:57 am

The method already exists, see Paul Brown (worked in Oregon and Idaho) and the nuclear battery–clearly related Le Bon.

A problem particularly relevant to Japan would be safely picking up the wastes scattered by the disaster.

Oh, and of course since this system would generate electricity directly (not heat like cold fusion) that challenges convention to say the least.

And of course Brown died in a car crash in 2003.

    • WalkingDead on October 8, 2015 at 9:48 am

I recall watching a video of him stating this some time ago. The question is: why are we not using this technology and polluting our environment with nuclear waste. There is a deeper agenda here, one would suspect.

      • Lost on October 9, 2015 at 7:04 am

        WD:

Yes, the may be a hidden agenda.

But it sort of separately it’s about doing what we learn as possible in highschool all the way thru grad school.

And in particular in the so called “hard sciences” students are told:

“Low energy alchemy is impossible, for the material world the periodic chart is all there is, electricity has zero nuclear effects.”

Once in a while someone will break and read say Le Bon or Velikovsky (and I don’t think Velikovsky works for dates since he’s describing worldwide destruction that no civilization would recover from in a mere 400 years) but that someone has to have established himself/herself usually, or be in some other field like the history of science, or the arts. Yes, Einstein read both Velikovsky and Le Bon, but such reading of contradictory information is discouraged.

There’s the story John Moray tells about his father, T. Henry Moray–an outsider, asking a library or a bookstore to find him a copy of Le Bon’s alchemical books during World War Two, and the FBI or a federal marshal shows up to ask T. Henry why he wants the book. (To read is the answer.) And these are books that had been translated and published by mainstream publishers in the 1920s.

So that’s evidence that some party in the Manhattan Project was sure looking at Le Bon–probably trying to figure out how to increase refined uranium yields.

        • WalkingDead on October 9, 2015 at 8:38 am

I apologize if this seems a bit off topic.
Alchemy and Sorcery were among the forbidden knowledge taught to the “gods”; by some accounts hybrids of human and “other” parents who would have taught their children some of their knowledge and whose intelligence/longevity would have surpassed ours due to their lineage. Our ancestors in high antiquity would have been, in turn, taught some of this forbidden knowledge to serve as their priests. Most likely, the origin of the mystery schools which still survive to this day in secret societies around the globe.
Current events would seem to support such a theory and give credence to the reason such knowledge is sought after and so jealously suppressed. I do not doubt that both of these
“sciences” are being pursued in the black projects world based on any recovered items of alchemical/scientific value from any ancient texts/sites.
The fact that certain aspects of mathematics and other sciences have been steered away from the above mentioned discoveries, and many others, and that the various branches of the sciences are not encouraged to work together for a more total approach to our cosmology is another form of suppression which has been utilized to guard this knowledge, in my humble opinion.

            WD,
it feels like it’s the whole point, not off topic. It feels like periodically mr global crashes the system causing economic collapse even beyond mr global’s goals in order to protect mr global’s proprietary hold on knowledge.

tesla gets sharp and brings out knowledge too much? crash his systems. others do it too or even come close? do it again and to their systems.

sometimes political personal assassinations are enough. other times it takes economic assassination. others require actual assassination.

john perkins has written well on this.
            http://www.amazon.com/Confessions-Economic-Hit-John-Perkins/dp/0452287081/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1444406511&sr=8-1&keywords=economic+hitman

it makes one wonder how to deal with ours and others’ knowledge and learning curves. Anti-epistemology is the best name I came up with so far. Please do better. Reminds me of Men In Black moment where K and J discuss same subject and think about what we KNEW 500 years ago, what we KNEW 5 years ago and what we KNOW now. imagine what we’ll know tomorrow.

what occurs to me first is to deal with knowledge more as societies have dealt with weapons. in societies where access to weapons are restricted to a few selected folk, the rest suffer inequity and crime in proportion to the restrictions. where restrictions are lifted, societies tend toward more polite courteous habits: hold a kitchen knife up to the average citizen in chicago and he’ll need to run. do it in austin texas and you’ll much more likely find someone carrying much more than a kitchen knife. in tuscon, the much greater weapon will usually be more openly carried.

So perhaps hidden Blavatsky-ites like Foster Gamble and David Icke have a good idea and they’re making it sound ridiculous in a bit of reverse psyche. Perhaps it is enough if enough individuals learn to make an E-CAT or Edward Leedskalnin’s work or hidden knowledge or on and on and on.

My questions tend to what to learn next in order to learn to survive this collapse (ok do I need personal protection from that knucklehead down the street?) and what we can learn and apply immediately of hidden knowledge.

Hence the interest in a site with this many well read folk.

            thank you all

There seems to be something in humans that inherently resists chasing contradictions, it’s get a career, life, then perhaps later ask say “how is electricity both electrons in the wire and the field around the wire, that field sure travels much faster than electrons?”

          Lost,
Velikovsky doesn’t have to be useless when he’s off the mark by hundreds or even thousands of years. Take a look at

          thunderbolts.info

Wal Thornhill, Dave Talbot and all also disagree with much of Velikovsky’s original guesses. But the over all paradigm shift Velikovsky advocated is alive and strong and growing on the internet. It is an electric universe. Even the knowledge suppressors are finding this impossible to keep down. They seem to be having a hard time keeping their influence sufficiently over that knowledge spread too.

At this point, I’m working to find a way to go back to school for a degree and research in electrical engineering.

          thank you,
