Recently I posted a short blog about the purported discovery of the finger of a giant (we "know" it had to be from a giant because, so we're told, the finger was some 16" long). Of course, stories of such giant finds abound on the internet, often with accompanying photos, and more often than not, most of the time these turn out to be hoaxes.
