There were a number of state ballot initiatives around the country during the last presidential (s)election, including initiatives for the recreational use of marijuana, and in some states, measures to nullify the Federal law of mandated health insurance purchase under "Obamacare." India may - and in my opinion probably will - join a growing list of nations banning Duponzanto's and Mon(ster)santo's hideous GMO foods. Yesterday I blogged about the incredible recalcitrance of the French and Russians, daring to maintain there are dangers in GMO food and, in Russia's case, actually banning it from the country. My thanks to my friend Mr. V.T. for forwarding this to me: Proposition 37 on the California ballot his November calls for labeling of GMO "food" products.
