RT: PROTESTS AGAINST MON(STER)SANTO

Russia Today reported that on May 25 of this year protests were scheduled against American "agribusiness" giant Mon(ster)santo. The article is here: Monsanto protests scheduled in 36 countries What I find disturbing here is, predictably, Mon(ster)santo's attitude, best summed up in the encyclical pronunciamenti of its CEO, Hugh Grant: "They're the most-tested food product that the world has ever seen. Europe set up its own Food Standards Agency, which has now spent €300 million ($403.7 million), and has concluded that these technologies are safe,” Grant said in January. “France … [Read more...]

THE GROWING TRANSHUMANIST SCRAPBOOK: AN FDA APPROVED ARTIFICIAL RETINA

Back when Dr. de Hart and I were having our discussions when we were writing Transhumanism: A Grimoire of Alchemical Agendas, one of the things we talked a great deal about was the promise of new technologies in the realm of prosthetics, and of the long term implications. Well, with that in mind, here's one for your "tranhumanist scrapbook" as yet another technology appears poised to come on line, one huge with long term implications: Artificial Retina Receives FDA Approval Now, personally, I view the ability to restore some level of sight to the blind as a good thing, provided, always … [Read more...]

NOW IT’S FRANKENFISH

As most of you know, I've been very concerned on this site about the phenomenon of genetically modified organisms entering our food supply. While I have talked mostly about Duponzanto's genetically modified crops - and the government and legal abuses accompanying them, in Transhumanism: A Grimoir of Alchemical Agendas my co-author Scott de Hart and I also talked about the modification of animal organisms. Our concerns when we wrote that book were about the possibility of engineered genetic mutations jumping from one species(the genetically modified plant) to another (humans). And I have also … [Read more...]

CALIFORNIA PROPOSITION 37 FAILED? OR WAS MADE TO FAIL?

There were a number of state ballot initiatives around the country during the last presidential (s)election, including initiatives for the recreational use of marijuana, and in some states, measures to nullify the Federal law of mandated health insurance purchase under "Obamacare." These types of initiatives only reflect the growing disenchantment around the country with increasing encroachments of federal power on individual liberty, and it is a movement that, in my opinion, is only going to grow, as more and more Americans wake up to the fact that the Supreme Court is not the final arbiter … [Read more...]

MORE EVIDENCE: FRANKENFOODS FOR THE NEW FRANKENSTEIN

In Transhumanism: A Grimoire of Alchemical Agendas, and for that matter, elsewhere in other blogs on this website, I have suggested, along with co-author Scott D. deHart, that the ingestion of genetically modified crops or foods can in turn perhaps cause the genetic modification of humans. And recently, as I noted in previous blogs, French studies have confirmed these ideas. Now there's yet more confirmation, according to the following article: GM Wheat May Permanently Alter Human Genome, Spark Early Death Read more: … [Read more...]

CANCER AND CANNABIS: NEW STUDY

A new study on the effects of certain compounds in cannabis on cancers is being reported by The Huffington Post, and this one hits me close to home: Marijuana And Cancer: Scientists Find Cannabis Compound Stops Metastasis In Aggressive Cancers As many readers of this website know, I lost my youngest sister Jeanie 12 years ago to an aggressive glioblastoma, a tumor that I have no doubt was caused by her constant use of a cell phone, for she always held it to her right ear, and that was the area in which the glioblastoma initially developed. As I have also reported elsewhere, she received … [Read more...]

MON(STER)SANTO GOOSESTEPS ON: PART ONE

Over the next couple of days, I plan to talk about the growing discontent with genetically modified foods, or GMOs, for short. The concern has now reached worldwide, as were going to see in a moment, but as I sat down to write these blogs, for some reason, the unfortunate Queen Marie Antoinette came to my mind, as a kind of symbol of the mercantilist arrogance now gripping the corporate world of the West (and again, please note, I said mercantilist, not capitalist. Thanks to Woodrow Wilson and the Dummycrooks, we haven't had capitalism for a long time in this country...another story!  But … [Read more...]

BRAVE NEW (MEDICAL) WORLD

A couple of days ago I awarded the very first Kammler-DARPA prize to the idea of a medical microchip to monitor whether or not we're all being good boys and girls and taking our medicine and eating our peas. There I argued that such an idea has already probably been conceptually expanded by the likes of agencies such as DARPA and big pharmaceutical companies like Muck, possibly in conjunction with the FPA (Food and Poison Administration) and GMO foods conglomerates like Duponzanto. Medical fascism arrived in this country long ago, but the new toy box promises virtually unlimited new vistas for … [Read more...]

NOW YOU’RE A DRUG…

Yesterday I blogged about the implications of a recent court decision involving Monsanto and some organic farmers who had brought suit against the company to protect their fields from contamination with its "products". There, I intimated that the logical end result of recent trends in American "jurisprudence" (and I almost gagged by glorifying the corruption of the system with that term) would be to gradually and inexorably transform the human being itself into a commodity subject to regulation by the federal bureaucracy. Well, surprise surprise, it's already happened. According to the … [Read more...]

MONSANTO CAFETERIA BANS GMO FOODS

In what has to be close to the ultimate in corporate hypocrisy, employees at a Monsanto company cafeteria have won the right to have their employee cafeteria serve non-GMO food: GM foods not served in Monsanto cafeteria Now what leaped off the page at me here was the Monsanto spokeman's more than hypocritical statement that the company is all about free choice. But just ask the farmers around the world who, by one corporate trick or another of those companies promoting their genetically modified seeds, are forced to buy their products. But this is the tip of an iceberg. Hungary has … [Read more...]
