BY THE WAY, IN CASE YOU MISSED IT, JAPAN MAY CHANGE ITS CONSTITUTION

The American satirist,  Tom Lehrer, was always quick to point out the goofiness of post-World War Two America's domestic and foreign policy, with such musical classics as Wernher von Braun and The MLF Lullaby(for those who can remember, the MLF or "multi-lateral-force" was a scheme of Mad Henry Kissinger[surely a relative of Crazy Ludwig Wittelsbach II] to give nuclear weapons to Germany[which probably really didn't need them anyway, but that's another story]): Well, all satire and chuckles aside, one wonders what Lehrer would have done with this story, yet another indicator … [Read more...]

NEWS AND VIEWS FROM THE NEFARIUM APRIL 4, 2013

Joseph comments on the growing tensions of what's going on with North Korea and lays out one possible analysis. Q.v. the following articles: Amid Pyongyang bluster, missile launch feared South Korea vows fast response to North; U.S. positions destroyer China's anger at North Korea overcomes worry over U.S. stealth flights Japan warns North Korea over provocations Australia to Bypass U.S. Dollar, Convert Directly into Chinese Yuan … [Read more...]

JAPAN AND USA SIGN AGREEMENT TO MONITOR SPACE DEBRIS… OR WAS THAT SPACE SHIPS?

Now, this is a really weird one folks, because one might read it as being due merely to a fluke of translation, or one might read it as a deliberate "slip" on the part of whoever translated this from Chinese to English. But in either case, the story is rather significant: Japan, U.S. agree to monitor ships from space Now, let's take the more obvious interpretation first, namely, that the translation is simply poor, and that all the USA and Japan are agreeing to do is pool their satellite space-debris monitoring resources to monitor "space debris." We're told that this agreement is … [Read more...]

CHINA, JAPAN, AND THE USA: IS THE USA GOADING JAPAN INTO CONFRONTATION WITH CHINA?

When the Fukushima tragedy happened to the people of Japan, I think it probably moved all of us, at some point, to tears. Watching the victims stoically trying to pick up the pieces of their lives, and then the brave people trying to put out nuclear reactor fires, all this brought them to my eyes, and I am sure did to you. Then, almost immediately after the tsunami and earthquake, disturbing questions began to be raised, initially by the Japanese themselves, then spreading quickly throughout the internet. The questions surrounded the "un-earthquake-like" seismic signature of the event. Some … [Read more...]

TRANSHUMANISM, ANAMNETIC TECHNOLOGIES, AND OAK RIDGE’S TITAN SUPERCOMPUTER

There's a super-computing race on folks, between the USA, Japan, and Germany, and, for the moment, so far as we know, the USA is ahead (which isn't saying much, since we don't really know what the Chinese or Russians may be up to). Now, before I share this article which was sent to me by many of you (this particular example being from Facebook friend Mr. P.T.), as you read this, I want you to bear in mind all those transhumanist articles I have been blogging lately, and particularly, the idea of anamnetic technologies: Oak Ridge’s Titan named world’s fastest computer I suggested in … [Read more...]

GOLD, GERMANY, AND GEOPOLITICS: THE POSTSCRIPT

There's one more thing I forgot to mention about Germany and its demands for the Bundesbank to do an audit of its gold, and its' one of those things that makes one inhale strongly. In the previous series of blogs about this topic, I presented two basic options by which one could interpret the growing demands in Germany, not only by the German people, but by the institutions and agencies of the German government, to demand that its central bank, the Bundesbank audit its gold, namely, 1) that the rift was between the Bundesbank on the one hand, which remained firmly within the financial … [Read more...]

NEWS AND VIEWS FROM THE NEFARIUM OCTOBER 4, 2012

Joseph talks about quantum teleportation and its implications for the hidden system of finance implied by the bearer bonds scandals, and for the western system of finance in general, and the relationship of this story to the stories of cyber warfare attacks on major Western and American banks. See the following article: The Race to Bring Quantum Teleportation to Your World … [Read more...]

EXTRA: ISLANDS, PROTESTS, AND DEAD AMBASSADORS

You may have heard by now that Japan nationalized a disputed chain of islands between that nation and China, causing "outbreaks" of "protests" in China against the Japanese action. And, following on the wake of last week's death of the Japanese Minister of Fiance, the new Japanese ambassador to China collapsed and died: Japan's ambassador to China dies amid rising tensions There's all sorts of ways one could play this, but first, let's dispense with the idea that the protests in China are entirely spontaneous. While I can readily imagine and grant the feelings of Chinese especially in … [Read more...]

TAKING SOME ISSUE: MAINTAINING THE EMPIRE

It is not often I dare on this site to disagree with a man whose views, lucidity, and rationality I deeply respect, but today I must do so with Lew Rockwell. The article I have in mind, which apparently is not by Mr. Rockwell but by Mr Michael S Rozleff, is here: U.S. Protectorates in Asia Cost a Great Deal Mr. Rozleff is, of course, correct, the US Asian bases cost a great deal to maintain, and the implicit implication is that it would make good political (and fiscal) sense to shut some of them down and scale back others. But this, of course, won't be allowed to happen, for the power … [Read more...]

UPDATE ON FUKUSHIMA

I will be blogging some personal remarks about Fukushima in coming days but the disaster in Japan continues in spite of what I can only call a media blackout: Fukushima disaster is 'nuclear war without a war' Learn more: http://www.naturalnews.com/035950_Fukushima_nuclear_war_disaster.html#ixzz1vjTHdP31 … [Read more...]
