Like many of you, I've been following the emergent transhumanist technologies of "emulation" and "anamnesis", the technologies designed to emulate and invoke or "recollect" the gods of old. These technologies are transhumanist in my opinion because they fulfill the extension of human consciousness throughout the universe so openly called for by some transhumanists like Ray Kurzweil, and because their intent in the hands of some is to allow the robotic extension of an individual's perception and "presence" outside of the body.
