Here's one for the record books, if it proves to be true (and we can already hear the howls of protest from academia...but more about that later). It seems that a 400,000,000 year old machine has been unearthed in the Kamchatka peninsula in extreme eastern Russia: Machine dated at 400 million years found in Russia As I've blogged here before, and written about in some of my books, such unusual artifacts are not unknown to Michael Cremo and Richard Thompson of Forbidden Archeology fame. As they pointed out in there book, such artifacts point to the existence of someone here on earth prior … [Read more...]
MAN IN PALESTINE 400,000 YEARS AGO??
Here is an interesting article which, if it bears up under scrutiny, may upset the scientific applecart once again: Homo sapiens lived in Eretz Yisrael 400,000 years ago 400,000 years is, of course, directly contrary to the reigning evolutionary and genetic paradigm that holds that modern homo sapiens sapiens came from Africa, and migrated throughout the world, some 150,000-200,000 years ago. Of course, there are those such as Michael Cremo and Richard Thompson who have presented archaeological evidence of someone in the genus homo being on earth in these times frames - and much older - … [Read more...]
ARCHAEOLOGY-GATE: MORE INTRIGUING TIDBITS FROM MICHAEL CREMO
Last week I blogged a number of articles about a subject that has long fascinated me: archaeology, and more importantly, archaeological cover-ups in the name of the western dogma that mankind is a relatively recent arrival on the scene, namely, 100-150,000 years ago (or a bit more, depending on who one talks to). It fascinated me because, as I've often pointed out in my various books on ancient history and science, we're dealing with apparently conflicting datasets: modern genetics on the one hand, with its indicators of human origins 100-150,0o0 years ago, and on the other hand, two types of … [Read more...]
ARCHAEOLOGY-GATE
For years - in fact, for decades - there have been persistent rumors about an "Archeology-gate," i.e., the deliberate suppression and sometimes even destruction of archaeological evidence contradicting the standard academic models of human prehistory, models inspired largely by the effect of Darwinism on the fields of anthropology, paleontology, and archaeology. And I must admit, I place some credence in some of those stories. In fact, this previous week have been blogging about such archaeological anomalies and some of their potential implications, and in particular I have been … [Read more...]
CREMO: “EXTRATERRESTRIAL ARCHEOLOGY GOES MAINSTREAM”
Yesterday I mentioned my recent acquisition of "alternative archeologist" Michael Cremo's little book, The Forbidden Archeologist, a compilation of some of the articles and essays he has written over the years for Atlantis Rising magazine. Chapter 17 of this book, "Extraterrestrial Archeology Goes Mainstream" is a thought-provoking little essay on the fact that, like it or not, that "mainstream scientists are moving in our direction"(p. 84), with the "our" referring here to the alternative research community. This became evident when Cremo visited the World Archeological Congress in … [Read more...]
AND WHILE WE’RE ON THE SUBJECT OF ARCHAEOLOGY…
The past few days I've been blogging about archaeological matters, and yesterday I suggested the ultimate archaeological heresy that the mystery of Teotihuacan would never be resolved until archaeologists looked beyond the Americas to do so. Such things would seem, to me and co-author Scott D. deHart, rather obvious, and that raises the whole issue of whether or not such reluctances, when they occur, are deliberate. Well, I recently acquired a book called The Forbidden Archaeologist by Michael Cremo, one of my favorite authors and certainly one of the world's best known "heretics" for his … [Read more...]
