By now you've all heard the news, and many of you messaged me either by email or on Facebook, asking me what I think of the resignation of Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger as Pope Benedict XVI. Sometimes I have to wonder about the colossally bad timing and, well, just all round bad taste the Vatican in general and Pope Benedict XVI in particular seems to be showing.
