Tom Bearden (U.S. Army, Ret.) wrote a series of books outlining what he called "scalar physics," and was of course almost immediately and roundly denounced by everyone in the physics community (with one very notable exception, but we'll save her, perhaps, for another blog). This is an interesting article of speculation about the "earthquake boom" and its possible relation to scalar physics: EARTHQUAKE BOOM AND SCALAR WAVES What interests me here is another possibility hinted at by the article besides the accompanying "booming" sound, and that is its general premise that the recent spate of earthquakes were brought about by scalar waves.
