NEW INTERVIEW WITH PETER LEVENDA ON HIS NEW BOOK

Play

Mr. Peter Levenda sent me a copy of his new book Ratline and I've just finished it, and, as always, it's quite a read. There's a good interview here:

    150 pages in-BRILLIANT

I am captivated by the analysis Levenda is putting forward. It is cautious, has a strong context, well sourced and reasoned.

    I highly recommend.

Is there another recent book of that title also, but before just a few years ago?
    Oh dear………………………..

    • HAL838 on May 30, 2012 at 4:23 pm

The subject matter seems to be what I ‘remember’ although I never actually read it.
[Maybe because I never actually came across it to buy and I purchased a related book.
But that one was definately within my perview. I don’t remember the author.]

Nazis on the Run: How Hitler’s Henchmen Fled Justice by Gerald Stenarcher. Oxford University Prtess, USA June 9, 2011. A great mainstream look under the hem of the dress to the knee joint. The knee caps are brutally as honest as you get. For a real can’t-go-there story you need the likes of a TrineDay Publisher; as Oxford University Press, sadly, is a fable-agreed-upon publisher.

      • Robert Barricklow on May 30, 2012 at 7:51 pm

A real publisher that publishes stories where Bill Clinton exclaims/HOW DARE YOU!.

        • Robert Barricklow on May 30, 2012 at 7:52 pm

          TrineDay is it.

        • Robert Barricklow on May 31, 2012 at 2:28 pm

There are others like Progressive Press, Feral House, Clarity Press, Inc.
          & (chorus?)

          Adventures Unlimited Press, …, ….,

          • HAL838 on June 3, 2012 at 8:22 pm

I have lots of books published by Adventures Unlimited
            and Trine Day.
In fact I am a member of a group where another is
            Kris Miligan.

All the best ones are published by the small presses that
are making a comeback everywhere after having been nearly
extinguished by the larger, elite owned publishers.

          • Robert Barricklow on June 3, 2012 at 8:51 pm

Googled “kris Miligan” and came up empty?

Those small publishers are thankfully making a comeback with publications that the mainstream pressitutes would’t touch in their nightmares.

  3. SilverSerpent on May 29, 2012 at 4:59 pm

“Chilling?” Really? I would call it naivete, short of overt pretentiousness. The Hand that Controls humanity is not – repeat – not the ‘elite.’ Call them “fingers,” at best. You’d all enter states of irreparable despair if you suspected – much less knew (or met) – “What/Who” is In Control and Their Plan. Carry On, listen to the whistling, blowing thru the air. “Magic,” Supersensible Power, is Orchestrating your Deeper (down)Fall. Perhaps the pride of men also blinds too thoroughly. A prophet (of Truth) is rejected in their own “city.” The “pastor” of beguilements enchants with “comprehensible” fears. I’ve met your Masters: Truth. They are Extant, but unknown to the ilk that presume themselves “in the aware;” less so the masses. You won’t see it Coming. You must feel it, for that is the programmed Desire embedded within you all, in the face of Superior Truth. Funny-Sad (Comedy-Tragedy. I think the shows’ starting). Elite-Illuminati-ELementals. Yeah: Intellgence – Inimical to Ignorance. And Innocence. Truth Principle (Serpent on the Pole, comin’ atchya).

And many thanks to you Jospeh Farrell, one of the nest researchers in the field, period, for posting the link to my show! Much gratitude! You are welcome to come back on as a guest any time you wish Joseph!

  5. Ted Torbich on May 27, 2012 at 9:16 pm

Thanks for the comments Robert Barricklow, the show you listened to was my show on Inception Radio. Levenda has been a guest several times and I always enjoy hearing from him. I also know Kris Milligan at Trine Day and recommend them highly.

    • Robert Barricklow on May 27, 2012 at 9:30 pm

      Enjoyed your “knowledge”
& especially your awareness how slippery the “truth” can indeed be.

    • Rfriend on June 4, 2012 at 7:36 am

As a fan of Peter Levenda’s works, I can recommend Ratline since the opening of the book is as fine a piece of writing that matches any best-selling mystery thriller. The theory of Hitler’s escape and second life is well reasoned, and the more that one knows of the “classified” history of the post-War Reich, the more plausible the conclusion. However, despite Levenda’s credibility, somehow the book was not the emotional “bunker buster” that I expected, as I still had my lingering doubts.
But the excellent Torbich interview recommended by JPF gave new life to Levenda’s thesis in my mind because, in person, Peter was able to emphasize certain details that strengthened the circumstantial evidence.
Similar to the opening pages of the book, now I too feel involved in a participatory mystery that demands a resolution.
Obviously there was only so much Levenda could do as far as attaining the crucial forensics, but a more detailed investigation seems required to nail the facts to the story. Until such time that the barriers of expense and danger are surmounted, this intriguing chapter of our history continues to give hint to who actually won WW2.

      Hi Robert,

I just listened to this interview; holy shit (fullstop)-

just goes to show us how there must be other unknown forces out there synchronizing world events

      • Robert Barricklow on May 29, 2012 at 8:55 am

It may be even more sinister than that.
There are several scenarios. Yet, the most peomising(revealing ‘our’/”true nature”) are embedded in the anceint past(the past isn’t dead, it’s not even past). Ecliptic meaning or translation: it’s been/being manipulated by DNA?(more than a double helix/environment is twisted with/in workings, viruses play major role), active players having access to “magic”?, or something that just hasn’t even shown it’s hand?

As Cervantes says/Have patience and keep shuffling the cards.

          Hi Robert,

“It may be even more sinister than that”- you know it-

“There are several scenarios”- you know it-

“Have patience and keep shuffling the cards”- I try to shuffle the greasy deck every day-

          many thanks for your response,

          ALWAYS AND IN ALL WAYS.

    G’day All,
I have a question for all those who have read Mr Levenda’s very fine book. It is in regard to the photo’s that are included within. I have studied these photo’s for a long period of time, paying especial attention to the jawline and ears, both of which are very similar in the specimens provided. Now of course the pictures of Herr Poch are not of the best quality but neither are they of the worst. As well as the above noted similarities I was struck by the bodily posture and the facial expression of Herr Poch, both of which are very “Hitleresque” to my eyes. I am wondering if anyone else sees this as well?

    • bdw on May 27, 2012 at 6:08 pm

      I am no expert.

But I did not see any resemblance to Hitler at all in the photos of Poch.

Of course, plastic surgery was around back then . . .. . . there’s no way I could even begin to analyze the photo trying to compensate for that.

While I liked the book, that part of it is totally unsupported in my humble opinion. I admit that it could be possible, but there is no proof. And when it comes to ‘ole Mr. AH, if there’s no proof, you might as well assign it to the mountain of other legends that have no proof.

      • Robert Barricklow on May 27, 2012 at 6:55 pm

I prefer at least 80 proof myself.

        • legioXIV on May 27, 2012 at 10:19 pm

          That will do it.

    • MattB on May 27, 2012 at 11:54 pm

They are suggestive. Even though I haven’t started to read the book yet, the idea of Hitler being NOT in South America sounds cleverer than him following all the other rats. I wonder (speculating now) that IF Hitler escaped, South America would have been too obvious. He was far more visible than Bormann or Mengele. Poch could also be a double as well, after all having a few of those floating around the globe would make finding and ‘prooving’ real AH that much more ambiguous. That sounds like Intelligence thinking to me.

I have speculated Namibia for a while as well (I want to research what connections Namibia and South Africa had with the Nazis after WW2). I just think that AH being in South America is too convenient……..

  8. Robert Barricklow on May 27, 2012 at 3:28 pm

    Finished interview.
Had to subscribe to inception radio. It’s free and looks very good.
The show tells of Hitler’s escape with Eva to Argintina & then a remote island near Bali. Wher Hitler died jan/1970. Eva did a diary in her signature short hand.
At 1hr 50 minutes in it gets good. The at 1hr 53 min Dr. Farrell gets high accolades for his sholarship rigor in spades.
Beat work on Hitler’s escape and death, …so far to date.

  9. legioXIV on May 27, 2012 at 3:26 pm

I read this book about a month ago, as usual it is brilliantly researched and does leave one wondering about the central premise. Entirely plausible.

    • Robert Barricklow on May 27, 2012 at 3:33 pm

      Again, were typing ‘en passant’.
      Enjoy your posts. They are very good;
they have “weight”(slang, but best way to describes them)

      • legioXIV on May 27, 2012 at 3:37 pm

        Thanks Robert.
I enjoy yours too. As the saying from The Last Samurai goes, “I enjoy our conversations”.
        Have a great day mate.
        Luke.

Don’t know why but reminds me of a Confucius saying:
Never give a sword to a man who can’t dance.

  10. LSM on May 27, 2012 at 2:22 pm

Dr. Farrell’s provided link doesn’t work here in Germany (never ceases to amaze me how an easy link to an alternative view of AH never functions)-

    direct link: youtube.com/watch?v=kaDy-fYZYo4

riveting interview- thanks for sharing, Dr. Farrell- greatly appreciated-

just goes to show us how the mind-shaft world of geoplolitics is just so frighteningly murky beyond human all comprehension-

    many regards,

    Larry

    Great!
Going to listen to this today.
Trine Day Publishing is an outstanding publisher.
    Their providence is authentically anti-mainstream.
I’ve read many of their books.
    Two are coming this tuesday.

    Well are you convinced?

  13. Dashiell Cabasa on May 27, 2012 at 8:27 am

thanks so much for the link Dr Farrell…I’d been wondering if Mr Levenda had a book due out…terrific.
