TIDBIT:THE USSA AND THE TRIUMPH OF OLIGARCHICAL DIALECTICS

Here's one that was sent to me, and I thought it amusing enough to pass along for your enjoyment of Dummycrookery and Republithuggery at work in the foreign policy realm:

“Sometimes I wonder whether the world is being run by smart people who are putting us on or by imbeciles, who really mean it.”
    -Mark Twain

Twain was a lot smarter than Einstein.

What we need are more humble geniuses,
there are so few of us left.

No one ever likes anyone smarter than themself.

No mistake in that last word.

I hated playing stupid all my life.

But if I didn’t, I actually tended to scare people
and I hated THAT even more.

Yet it always had the long term effect
[letting them think THEY were smarter]
of those others becoming totally obnoxious
and condescending, so I let it go and stayed ‘stupid’ anyway.

I liked a recent Max Keiser where he showed a guy with a tatoo on across chest.
It had a arrow pointing up to the young mean’s head,

with a caption underneath that read:

            I’AM WITH STUPID!

            Oh Robert, so old……….
You know the writers’ axiom that
truth is stranger than fiction (?)

Twain took it a pace with this bit of ‘truth:’
That… fiction has to make sense…………
            truth doesn’t………….
No quote marks because I am too tired
to make much sense of my own 🙁

            It is appropriate, though,
because the heart should over-rule the head–
best case is acting and thinking in concert.

What do my CIA ‘friends’ here know about
            “chakra” energy ?
Yes, you know I have been studying it.

And isn’t this just a sorry state of affairs, a comedic state of affairs actually. These politicians are so used to the sycophancy of the media that they don’t even know how to answer or deal with a real and serious question anymore. The sad thing is most people don’t even realise it or if they do they ignore it.
