TIDBIT: IN CASE YOU HAVEN’T HEARD, EATING GMOS IS POTENTIALLY ...

...oh by the way, in case you haven't heard, eating GMOs is looking to be increasingly hazardous to your health:

Regulators Discover a Hidden Viral Gene in Commercial GMO Crops

And consider the following two paragraphs carefully:

"The researchers themselves concluded that the presence of segments of Gene VI “might result in unintended phenotypic changes”. They reached this conclusion because similar fragments of Gene VI have already been shown to be active on their own (e.g. De Tapia et al. 1993). In other words, the EFSA researchers were unable to rule out a hazard to public health or the environment.

"In general, viral genes expressed in plants raise both agronomic and human health concerns (reviewed in Latham and Wilson 2008). This is because many viral genes function to disable their host in order to facilitate pathogen invasion. Often, this is achieved by incapacitating specific anti-pathogen defenses. Incorporating such genes could clearly lead to undesirable and unexpected outcomes in agriculture. Furthermore, viruses that infect plants are often not that different from viruses that infect humans. For example, sometimes the genes of human and plant viruses are interchangeable, while on other occasions inserting plant viral fragments as transgenes has caused the genetically altered plant to become susceptible to an animal virus (Dasgupta et al. 2001). Thus, in various ways, inserting viral genes accidentally into crop plants and the food supply confers a significant potential for harm."

Margaret…please be patient with me… I am only one man and have a ton of emails everyday, plus the website, plus researching for bookstimes I simply cannot respond immediately to everything as I would wish

Many apologies Joseph/Dr Farrell, I thought it was an automated glitchy-type thing . . . you’re working above and beyond the call of duty!

GMOs … and speaking of things hazardous to your health! What next?

DOE wants to allow previously banned radioactive scrap metal back into personal consumer products, like your household utensils, eyeglasses, belt buckles, golf clubs (DU enhanced! – http://urlin.it/38590). Imagine cooking your GMO corn in radioactive pots and eating it with radioactive forks, with a side salad of irradiated fresh vegetables, and washed down w/ fluoridated water or GMO HFCS-sweetened cola . . . now that is some toxic mix!

Details here: http://shar.es/CxJXy . If you feel so inclined, at the bottom of the article there is contact info for sending comments to DOE, deadline 2/9/13. And let your friends and family know 😉

Yikes! This is so typical of our “goobernment”…they simply don’t care one whit about the American people, neither party, no branch of goobernment.

      • Frankie Calcutta on January 31, 2013 at 2:20 pm

The goobernment doesn’t care about the American people but they do care about the American peoples’ teeth. Another one of those anomalies that left me scratching my head when I was younger as the evidence clearly showed the US goobernment really didn’t care about its citizens. Don’t worry about those transmission lines or Love canal or getting too close to the nuclear bomb test, soldier. Just keep you thoughts on your beautiful teeth and remember: you have the goobernment to thank for those pearly whites.

        • Frankie Calcutta on January 31, 2013 at 2:21 pm

I should say: you have the goobernment and its fluoride program for those healthy teeth.

our choices….the CONiSERVE or if you prefer the LIBEL dolts.

either one screws us ….one into keeping the slavery going, or off to war to collect the prize for the con artists.
If memory serves me, it has been the LIEBELDOLTS that have gotton us into 99 percent of the wars on the pretense of doing good by destroying everything in our path…..fubar as it were..

      Margaret

      Absolutely loved this post!

Also reminded me of Ralph Nadar’s slogan:
      Get Active or Get Radioactive.

(By the way the last “share.es …” didn’t take)

oops … here is short url for ‘Department of Energy Wants to Let Radioactive Scrap Metal Back into Consumer Products’ – http://urlin.it/385ae

Thank you Robert … and thanks again, Dr Farrell, for your patience and good hearted generosity.

I’m too busy smoking cigarettes and drinking beer and wine to eat GMo foods.

I dont eat anything out of a can, packet, box, including McDonalds, KFC, or any other fast foods.

There’s a steak in every can of beer, 15 million aussies can’t be wrong.

If “inserting viral genes accidentally [sic] into crop plants and the food supply confers a significant potential for harm,” then does the *intentional* insertion of such genes confer a significant plan and purpose for harm?

    • Nidster - on January 28, 2013 at 6:09 pm

Yes!!! This action was not by accident but rather an intentional insertion of ‘bad’ genes in order to do harm. The goal is to permanently change humanity’s DNA.

Hope we see more good research into, and the exposure of, the bad affects of GMO crops and animals.
