EVEN ALAN GREENSPAN IS CHALLENGING THE RATIONALE FOR THE FED

This article at The Daily Bell is worth pondering closely and carefully, for it might be indicative of further fissures and faultlines within the international banksters' globaloney "community", or it might be indicative of what they're really up to (we'll get to that after the article), or it might be indicative, in that quintessential Hegelian way, of both. There are, in fact, two sentences in particular in this article, that incline me to think it is both. First, the article:

Greenspan Discusses the End of the Fed ... What Comes Next?

I have to admit, there are a number of statements in this article that left me...well, puzzled would be a polite way to put it. In the pre-War Between the States era, one of the things that was rampant was virtually every bank was printing its own banknotes and circulating them (even the Mormons did it for a while, but that's a whole other - and somewhat murky - story).  It may have been a Libertarian paradise of currency competition, but it was "local currency" with a vengeance, and the result was self-evident: there were a lot more banknotes in circulation than there was bullion to back them up.

But I digress.

The first phrase that stuck out like a sore thumb in the article, was contained in this quotation of Alan Greenspan, and I emphasize it:

"We have at this particular stage a fiat money which is essentially money printed by a government and it's usually a central bank which is authorized to do so. Some mechanism has got to be in place that restricts the amount of money which is produced, either a gold standard or a currency board, because unless you do that all of history suggest that inflation will take hold with very deleterious effects on economic activity... There are numbers of us, myself included, who strongly believe that we did very well in the 1870 to 1914 period with an international gold standard."

Now, reading between the lines a bit, what we have now is a currency board, and it's called the Federal Reserve, so what Greenspan really appears to be saying is that he wants the government to have a currency board.

Lest we think that he is advocating a return to the colonial system of debt-free scrip, what I believe he is advocating - subtly to be sure - is a nationalization of the Fed, or, to put it somewhat differently and on the flip side of the same coin, a complete corporatization of the government, which means the debt principle will remain in place, and on steroids.

I thus agree with these observations and conclusions of The Daily Bell:

"This means, like Sisyphus climbing up the mountain with a rock on his back over and over, the Fed is doomed to buy US debt at zero percent for an unforeseeable – infinite – amount of time. This is, of course, an insupportable scenario. And thus, we've pointed out that the dollar reserve system basically died in 2007-2008 – and later on, Alan Greenspan apparently said something similar himself!

"The system, it seems, eventually MUST collapse. There will be no war, no devaluation, no bailout that will likely save the dollar reserve system. Instead there will be ... a change.

"The wise men running central banking are probably as aware of the problems with the dollar economy as anyone else; in fact, more so. They've even apparently started a faux movement to nationalize central banking so as to keep control via the political system directly (see yesterday's article on this topic) but even this movement is probably bound to fail.

"Another possibility that is obviously being considered is the creation of a global paper currency via the IMF's SDRs. And finally, the powers that be are probably, reluctantly, considering a state-managed gold standard. Greenspan is apparently going to be a spokesman for this view."

But as we saw in the article about NASA and warp drive, the energy and transport system may change wildly beyond any bankster's ability to keep pace... the times are changing, and the ability of central authority to manage it all is increasingly the problem. It never did, never could, and the current financial mess is the testimony of that fact.

Like it or not, the era of the Rockefailures and Rottenchilds is over, though, we all know, they won't and don't see it that way, and will do everything in their fast eroding power to hang on...

See you on the flip side.

Modern fiat money is loaned into existence and must be paid back with compound interest. Therefore, the money supply must be in perpetual expansion, or it will begin to collapse. Central bankers are well-aware of the precarious nature of this system.

Central banking is confidence game (a con game). Eventually, the people will lose their faith in paper money. A problem will arise that is beyond the ability of monetary authorities control. We will call it a bank run. There are records of bank runs going back four thousand years, and it’s only in the past seventy-years that they have contained.

Take a country, any large foreign country,
Dung it about with enginery of free energy,
It will engender a Rockefailure Rottenchilds war engine,
With it they shall smite the peoples and none shall stand before them.

Singapore and HK have currency boards in place…what they call “Monetary Authority”. A Central Bank is not necessarily a Currency Board.

Their currencies are pegged to the $ or a basket of currencies so their ability to set interest rates by expanding the Money Supply is somewhat limited on a day-to-day basis… A currency board is the next step before a Gold Standard.

I think Greenspan being the opportunist that he is, …is yet another rat jumping ship. Murdoch and DSK tried to jump ship far too early in the game and got punished for it

Lagarde retracted from her position in favour of a Gold Standard (which she made clear after joining IMF) after a corruption investigation was launched.

Again, the way Lagarde has handled Cyprus was an intentional mess… The kind of thing anyone would do to expose the current “fiat money/fractional reserve” ponzi scheme for what it is… The search of Lagarde’s Paris apartment is a desperate attempt to keep her on a leash.

Lesson…this is the real war..forget about currency wars (beggar-thy-neighbor battles on the way to the bottom)…it’s a war against the central bank/fiat currency/fractional reserve banking.

All currencies which are part of the Global central Banking network will go sooner or later. You can see how South East Asian governments with “stellar” fiscal accounts are being thrown into Keynesian spending sprees.

China (Yuan) and Russia (Ruble) may turn out to be the exception as they can move to an alternative currency issuance scheme when they see fit

But elsewhere no “safe corner” must exist anywhere so the house of cards falls and is replaced by something else…

    • DaphneO on April 3, 2013 at 2:18 pm

Miguel, that was a great piece. And almost no “safe” corner does indeed exist. But now that the world is a much larger place, hopefully the exceptions can ruin the plan in some way. Not that life will be easy for awhile when it all comes down…

I think this recent BRICSA meeting in Durban is the game changer, the global economy doesn’t seem to be getting any better and the elites are tracking every move.

If the BRICSA can get their act together and get away from trading in $US, then possibly getting some “other” nations on board will give it the strength to rival the Anglo-American banking system.

Something has to break, it can’t go on like this for too much longer, and add in the EU train wreck, and you have a recipe for disaster.
    The only question is “WHEN”.

Why are these people so addicted to slavery can’t they just steal a little and leave the rest of us alone. Their overwhelming greed always getting them into trouble.

I disagreee. Their era will never be over unless prosecuted for their crimes. What I think he´s doing is setting up the USA for the loss of world reserve currency holder status. That´s all. They did the same thing with England and the British pound when the USA eclipsed their Brit empire. They´re doing the same to the USA now that they have moved their manufacturing to Asia. China will be their lynchpin like the USA was for a century. That´s all that´s going on.

Central banking equals mayhem and slavery via fiat funded warfare and welfare state. That´s what they´re interested in: conquest and enslavement.

  7. Robert Barricklow on April 2, 2013 at 8:12 am

    Greenspan’s track record is:
he wins when the game is fixed.
The Gols standard backing a one world currency has always been “their” goal(albiet cashless as well).
Their is plenty of “hidden” gold. And then they’ll set the rule for “others” to follow; while “they” break them with impunity.
The way out is “PUBLIC” w/o “private” interference.
This is a private vs public war. A real citizen vs a corporatized person. Open Systems vs Closed systems.
The War continues between the despicable few and the rest of humanity.

          No ROBERT,

ha, ha! (Maybe Good (not so old) Mother Nature will play some of her ecological TRICKS, again! We can always dream cant we?)

I think it is good to know what ‘members’ of this site are up to outside of the discussion of topical articles. There’s more to life then figuring out ‘who did what to whom?”

The cafes/coffee houses in Cambridge may not be Paris in the 20ties or even the steps of UC – Berkley’s Court-Yard but it’s still fine with me provided you can stand the thin-air of that rarefied atmosphere. Not much oxygen or breathing room when discussing or shooting the shit in these places. One has to move ‘very slow’ to get a decent conversation going?

I once overheard this young PHD guy on the subway talking to his buddies moaning because all he could find for work was 4hrs. a wk for 200 dollars. Un-believiable!

I say —Now all he has to do is get another lousy 4hrs = 8 hrs a week and the rest of the time he can Play or do something constructive like INVENT SOMETHING?

Some people don’t know how lucky they are! I don’t envy them much (not totally true — I envy them a tinny little bit, ha, ha!)

They think by finding a great Tech Job they’ll be set for life. Unconsciously, they know their EXPENDABLE and in 5 or 6 yrs — It’s the junkyard for Obsilite hardware. Poor things!

Trying to find security in an INSECURE WORLD! They don’t know how to ride the waves. To ‘zen-like surf’ for in the process of getting their PHDS they forgot about REAL CULTURE!

Still I like to hang around them for they are sometimes vibrant and some of it rubs off on this SLOW POKE TURTLE, HA, HA!

Keep posting Robert. I wonder what surprise Farrell has for us today? (Hope it’s not just about money? Something about ancient archaeology that’s not scientifically oriented?)

Does Gold make the world go round?

Some say Love does? I don’t know about that either?

If “they” have their way you don’t have the time of day to get back to where you once belonged. They erase the social memory, to a point where insecurity and the precarious class come together, as the majority on-the-run.
I was on the bus today trying to find someone who had some idea of what was going on. Most are, or were good students – like your PHd(Piled High Deep). What they’re being taught, or were taught – is the bs, piled high deep for educated idiots. To get through takes too much energy.

It seems like nationalizing the Fed would be a defensive measure to put all the resources of the US government in the defense of the central bank and make all attacks on such bank and its currency a direct attack on the US government and its citizens.

Cynically, it seems like a bullion rope a dope has been at work for some time. Banksters suppress gold prices for over a decade keeping the price below three hundred dollars and most likely accumulating as much of the world’s gold supply as possible at rock bottom prices. Then they take the secret price cap off, build up a gold buying hysteria (starting in the alternative media like Alex Jones) and then sell their plentiful supply of gold into the high gold price frenzy. Now as this begins to abate and the historically high gold price begins to teeter on the precipice of collapse, the banksters will go into phase three of rope a dope and prepare for government gold confiscation once again (at government mandated rock bottom prices of course) where they will re-accumulate all the gold they just sold at historic highs.

I imagine back in the early eighties these banksters looked at their ancient ledgers and agreed the time was right to execute one of their old bullion scams once again. It probably had some name like the Timbuktu Hustle and the ledger details how successful the scam worked and how much money they made off the witless citizens of Timbuktu back in say 22,000 BC.

And lets not forget the fifth plank of Marx’s Communist Manifesto:

“Centralization of credit in the hands of the state, by means of a national bank with state capital and an exclusive monopoly.”

I would also suggest that if the current claustrophobic closed end system of finance we are operating under was preparing to expand into outer space where trillions of dollars in new credit could be issued for these expansionist projects, then a re-organization of the current finance system might be in order to prepare for this bold new adventure of the banksters and their debt scheme.

Rope a dope — I have to laugh at that one.

Buy low and Sell High — nothing hard to understand but look a little closer and find out it’s RIGGED from the get go! Who really controls the ‘flow of information>”?

I like Farrell’s mention of a non-mathematical formular (Lee’s equation) or the downs and ups of markets predicted by Star-Constellations! Now that really gets to me and my imagination! (makes me think of Reagan’s First lady. Now that’s a laugh?)

I wonder who really is RUNNING THE SHOW? If anyone is — or I heard it put this way — There’s no Pilot in the COCKPIT! —-

What — now —the new gimmic is instant MASSIVE computerized sales/exchanges before the mad scramble to get in on the scam! What a FLEECE JOB! Whose first(me-me) and the last gets screwed —human nature alright!

Although you mention Marx — get them to pay for their own Imprisonment. I say, ‘Someone is having sweet revenge on the populace for not letting them play as a child?”

I like the idea of Energy being the new ‘currency but then again everything is already commodified so that too isn’t such a great idea. Like the idea of pollution credits to be sold on the world market? – doomed from the start! (that’s really one newer view that is the ‘quantification of everything.”) Now that religion has took a back seat for the COMMODE. And they used to call that COMMUNISM!

I am guessing Student Loan debt will be the new improved version or product — Indentured Servitude. (when you start hearing cozy-MD’s who charge us an arm and a leg just to look down your throat and ears then I know sometimes up. There even was a movement to unionize Doctors. Have you ever heard such a silly notion? Screw them greedy quacks!) I’ll go visit the local tribesmen for some herbal remedies if only I had one near-by? Tough Luck!

I say lets all move back to Timbuktu.

I think that was the place they found thousand of scrolls from TIMBUKTU that some prominant African American (I think he was the Intellectual guy who got busted for trying to get into his own house and who ended up pouring a ‘couple’ on the white house garden.) was trying to save? I think he’s responsible for the excellent African Encylopedia out not that long ago. I do remember his plea on TV to save those records. Keep them out of ‘private hands?”

Kind of like a new Alexandria’s library getting burnt down or lost forever, Yeah Right. Computerize books and throw the library away. Yeah right — it’s a lot harder to haul away thousands of books — people might notice. (just make most books with acid content –might do the job but why risk the delay?) So do it on the sly. Invent a KINDLE! and the libraries just wither-away or look like Detroit. Afterwards just push the DELETE button. (and we don’t even have to pay the Fire Department’s outrageous bill anymore!)

Timbuktu — it seems to me I remember a movie drawn on Kurt Vonagut’s book. I think it was called “Welcome to Timbuktu.” Well the main character was standing in a huge arena full of shouting Nazis and when he stamped his foot everybody disappeared and was silent? When he did again – they reappeared! He repeated and sped it up —but it was long ago and my memory isn’t too keen on trivia anymore.

Well anyway —-I am being too articulate. I’ll say one more thing. Don’t you wish you could just stamp your feet like a child having a temper tantrum and all the bad guys (and girls) would just go away. (Don’t laugh for that is how some of the Elite were schooled?)

yeah — everybody’s got a Cash-Register nearby! One tip — before you believe anything looks good LOOK for the cash-register in the BACKGROUND! Pretty JADED but its true! That’s the new periphial vision? (spelt wrong of course!)

Have a good day today and remember your Marxist Humanitarism>

        Paul de,

I always have to prepare myself mentally when I read your posts. A lot to digest but always good.

Maybe a world without books wouldn’t be such a bad thing. We could get back to the oral tradition. Imagine if we all trained ourselves to retain entire books, legends, myths, scriptures, maps, repair manuals, etc in our memory? What power we would have. I guess the tv would have to go as well to make this possible. Are only competition would be these nasty computers and their massive memories.

And the guy with the best memory, the bard, would be like a rock star traveling from village to village regaling his audiences with stories from his powerful memory.

            Paul de,

yes I remember the Christian brothers wacking me with sticks to help me remember my studies and while I have forgotten everything else, I haven’t forgotten the sticks.

The Tibetans have a system before bed whereby they recall everything they did that in half hour increments until at least the moment they awoke in the morning. Some accomplished monks take it one step farther and follow their memory as far back as it will go which sometimes leads them into their past lives.

Every day I tell myself to practice Giordano Bruno’s memory wheel but inevitably I always forget to do it. Blame it on beer. A gift when you want to forget things, but a curse when you want to remember things.

Just imagine a world without books and Dr. Farrell regaling us with stories around the fire about the breakaway civilization, the Babylon banksters, the giza weapon, the cosmic war, etc. It would be more terrifying then the animal noises off in the distance.

Now how’s that for the Oral Tradition (in it’s written form— I’m a lousy Presenter — now if I had that ability (say like a Broadcaster I would really be dangerous, ha, ha? But unlike the Broadcaster, I wink at you, to let you know it’s all a put-on!)

Have a good day — this Thursday = TODAY!

Please excuse the double-entry. I could swear i didn’t send it off but the screen said I did. When I looked to see, it wasn’t there so I posted it the First time. ( I think the system made a mistake but we do tend push buttons unconsciously when we’re excited about something.)

I know I have been occasionally getting these funny screens with just the writing on them and black space on the sides? Now I think that may be just a gilch in the system but it’s probably just a minor problem? Once I got all these funny numbers or code beside or below the Newspaper Columns — like I was inside the web-site’s programing but that lasted only one time and I flicked it out.)

I just re-read the second entry and it is slightly altered. I best quit posting today? My memory is slipping into abstraction.

            Have a good one.

Of course Ayn Rand’s lover is worshiping the age of the robber baron and gross bankster abuse (the late 19th century). Sorry Alan et al, back then the guvmint and private money worked to mess all sorts of things up, like now.

What I don’t see Alan Greenspan calling for is any great transparency.

Six years to reinvent…. Assuredly metamorphosis started long ago.
Think Carbon Tax…. Why has Germany invested so heavily in Solar?
BP producing panels….. Physics and banking merge as a
“Energy” backed currency? Something to think about…..
After all you cannot get any more “Golden” than Sol….. If the game changes,
energy becomes a very logical local means of trade when all is in turmoil.

Energy as currency seems like an interesting idea, but solar energy is basically meaningless as thought about today. (Not likely to get that much better either.)

      Energy=information mechanics=better physics=alchemy=profound healing technology=and of weapons.

Agreed, Solar will not be the game changer per se. Rather mastering how Sol functions will, as utilized in the public arena. As above so below. Germany sought solutions to energy obviating importing oil, rather than seeking wealth from doing so. We may be in store for a shift from seeking supply of resources to supply of Technology. The bottleneck will be perhaps controlled by other than oil interests and banking systems, namely those who can and may have been able to “break away.”

Rather the decidedly revisited issue of petroleum supply logistics Germany knows all too well. They sought solutions to same problem long ago as Dr. Farrell has so well eluded to. Technology that can do the above will change the game forever when it is open and in use. Question is who will let the cat out of the bag?
