This is a surprise as they’d announced an expansion of features just last week as I recall.

Another sad day in the digital commons. A commons that was bred from the hacker culture that emerged, typified by its committment to information being free and available. There was, at the same time, a hostility to centralized authority and secrecy. And the backdrop to it all was the joy o learning knowledge.
Thus, it is ne suprise that nothing enraged the internet community more than advertising & commercialism.
So both worlds collide; and, as in elections, it’s money vs. money. In other words – no choice.

    No Daily Bell.
    No democracy.
