I think it was a Rockefeller not a Rothschild she had the alleged affair with.

    • Don B on November 18, 2013 at 5:24 pm

Rockefeller might have been involved also. Philippe Rothschild was mostly a rumor to my knowledge. No direct evidence.

Oh no, no one here has ever heard of the idea of more than one Oswald, or Nazis or White Russians–NOT.

And what does this have to do with soccer?

      • Elm on November 14, 2013 at 5:33 pm

Nothing to do with “soccer” — rather fascism. That is unless, one views soccer as a moving chess game & the grand chessboard of history.

Corporatism & Monopoly Cartels destroy capitalism.

Fascism is born out of an emergent non-competing community of like interests to an exclusion of all others, enforced by the state. In others words, a monopoly of Corporate Interests & State — a Cartel wherein “competition is a sin.”

I.G. Farben was a Cartel. This is why at one time America had anti-trust laws.
What America requires, is a return to “cooperative capitalism.” This will require the people think again. “Man must think, because he alone can act.” — Henry George, Progress & Poverty, 1879

Both Communism & National Socialism were Authoritarian Police States, that Collectivized the people under a Central Government & Party Diktats. And both had global aspirations. America was more about the individual rights of men, whereas both Russian Collectivism & National Socialism were about sacrificing the individual to the abstracted rights of the State. Russian born author Ayn Rand fled Russia for America because of the American focus upon the rights of the individual. One wonders where Rand would go today.

She’d stay in the USA to have sex with Alan Greenspan and enjoy the benefits of Medicare. Oh wait, she already did both of those things when she was alive.

      • Don B on November 14, 2013 at 3:06 pm

        Sag,

You’re just too witty. LOL Oh, don’t forget her tryst with one of the Rothschild’s.

          Don:

Didn’t know about the Rothchild liaison; fits that Ms Rand would attach herself to other entitled irresponsible types than Greenspan.

        For your viewing pleasure…

        AYN RAND’S MESSAGE TO AMERICA…
        https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oTf6NK0wsiA

One must remember, Rand came out of a Collectivist Russia, that substituted State rights for the rights of man & the human individual. Her successor Dr. Leonard Peikoff, describes the current conditions in America with a uncanny degree of insight. We all would do well to read his, The Ominous Parallels: A Brilliant Study of America Today — And The “Ominous Parallels” With The Chaos of Pre-Hitler Germany.

Rand appeals to man’s sense & capacity for an informed reason, rather than the emotion laden emotions of the uninformed mob & the pretences & pretexts of an Authoritarian Nanny State, best described as an intrusive, manipulative & emasculating BIG MOTHER. The term Big Brother is an insult to brothers everywhere as examples to & guardians of their junior siblings.

For further viewing, see, “Ayn Rand: A Sense Of Life…” Parts 1-8
        https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EPkskd9oPBo — Very inspiring!

To be sure, Rand’s life & her ideals, do not reduce to an alleged private sexual encounter with either a Greenspan or a Rothschild.

          E:

You forgot that Rand enjoyed the benefits of socialized medicine in her later years.

No, the USA in 2013 does not resemble Soviet Russia circa 1922. You’ve insulted the victims of Stalin and Lenin; whatever Glenn is saying is usually wrong.

The point is that Greenspan ran the federal reserve system–and that is an organization with some government input but fundamentally has the backs of private bankers in all their irresponsibility. And clearly can allow some banks to profit at the expense of other banks and US citizens generally. (It is an oversimplification to say the Federal Reserve is a for profit private bank–but it can provide incredible advantages to certain connected banks–and this is exactly the kind of irresponsible, elitist, entitled behavior vouched for by Ms Rand.)

In fact Rand does not appeal to informed anything. I hear the likes of this from people who fled Castro’s Cuba and have appointed themselves experts on the horrors of Medicare, Social Security, a regulated electric power industry, etc.

Rand enjoyed the freedom to spew her misrepresentations and illogic, and that’s one of the better things about this system in the US, but I don’t have to think her informed or correct.

Ayn Rand was a plagiarist/ student of Aristotle, who himself stated the idea of morals was non existent and only a means of intelligent behavior toward other intelligentsia…..
and so …..by her requirement on the masses/state for care, says quite abit of her intelligence….ie she duped the masses into supporting her….while denouncing them in her career…..Aristotle would be proud of her, for exposing the masses inability too comprehend simple ideas.

But the link is about soccer.

And equating the totalitarian systems of the USSR and say Fascist Spain doesn’t really doesn’t shed light on the criminality of either. It’s an oft repeated mistake of Glenn Beck’s.

Fascism is fundamentally a worship of a twisted version of private ownership backed by a strong state. The communism of the USSR is very different, even if they used similar methods to keep power for the state.
