THE TRANSHUMANISM SCRAPBOOK: SOLDIERS, SAILORS, AIRMEN, TO GET HEALING ...

The transhumanist scrapbook took another step in major expansion, as The Washington Post has reported on a plan of the Obama Administration to implant soldiers, sailors, and airmen with medical telemetry computer chips:

New Obama plan calls for implanted computer chips to help U.S. troops heal

Of course, this is all being promoted as a lovely fluffy bit of concern about enabling people to use and stimulate the body's natural healing processes via such technologies, and of course, all of this is a project from the utterly benign and always to be trusted Diabolically Apocalyptic Research Projects Agency (DARPA):

When President Obama on Tuesday highlighted 19 executive actions he says he is taking to improve the mental health of U.S. troops and veterans, one of them centered on a particularly novel effort: The development of new computer chips designed to modulate the nervous system to help with everything from arthritis to post-traumatic stress.

The project is headed by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, a Pentagon agency that develops a variety of high-tech equipment for the U.S. military. It’s known as the Electrical Prescriptions program, or ElectRx (pronounced “electrics”). Program officials say the goal is to develop a technology that could help people heal more quickly through the use of biosensors and electromagnetic devices that control human organs.

“Instead of relying only on medication, we envision a closed-loop system that would work in concept like a tiny, intelligent pacemaker,” said Doug Weber, the program’s manager. “It would continually assess conditions and provide stimulus patterns tailored to help maintain healthy organ function, helping patients get healthy and stay healthy using their body’s own systems.”

Now don't get me wrong: not for a moment do I disbelieve that the government would be concerned with the promotion of healing of its military personnel, especially those who are or have been in harm's way.

But you know me... I'm prone to that "high octane speculation" stuff, and I suspect that behind the fluff about healing and such, there's another agenda entirely. The military, I suspect, and many confirm, has been chipping its personnel for a long time. Recall in this respect only that accused and convicted Oklahoma City Bombing conspirator Timothy McVeigh claimed to have been chipped in his buttocks with a small GPS transmission device. Many at the time - this author included - thought it not only extremely suspicious that he went barreling north on interstate 35 in a car with no license plate after allegedly just having bombed the Murrah Building in downtown Oklahoma City, but more importantly, thought it very suspicious of how quickly he was apprehended. Then the story about his chipping appeared; mystery solved....and enhanced, for if that's the case, then someone knew he was there to begin with. And of course, that raises all sorts of murky possibilities about that strange little story that no one seems to remember.

So all that medical telemetry and technology and the cover "sell story" has another agenda: tracking, which in itself can be a selling point: "Suppose you were caught and fell into enemy hands... this way we'd know exactly where to find you to rescue you..."  But it's also a handy way of keeping track of ex-military personnel and where they are, and if they might be meeting with other ex-military personnel. And a switch that can be turned to enhance healing, could easily become a switch to enhance disease, or one that might be turned off altogether. There are, of course, other possibilities, and I leave them to your imagination. Doubtless, you see them already.

See you on the flip side...

I’d be remiss if I also didn’t remind everyone that these technologies are also with every major power in the world and are not necessary for our national security. Once your implanted every where you go in the world you can be read and influenced by unfriendly’s(this includes our alledged allies) so I’d suggest every service man forced to get this chip get a lawyer before your adopted into the CIA/NSA glass managerie. By the way, organized crime and any other corporation willing to pay a high price can have you fried like an egg by signal corps, there’s no control.

If there was a chip based system of healing it would be an electromagnetic system, and it wouldn’t require chips at all. This is just a ploy to eventually chip everyone for entirely other purposes of the totalitarian state.

As a former guinea pig in the MK ULTRA program back in the late 70’s (AFTER the Church commitee banned the CIA from continuing the program in 77) I can say with some authority that the system is very effective in protecting its lab rats. That said there is a mountain of evidence that those with the implants were NOT helped but rather the technology was used too control the reactions and communicative abilities of the test subjects, which is ,I believe, the ultimate goal of the system. They saved my life several times, that said it was their manipulation that had led my life to be threatened. Hypnosis is easy to conduct , even on unwilling subjects when they can interrupt your sleep only to half wake you out of a rem sleep ,then put you back to sleep under their direction and SUGGESTION. Free will becomes a theory or perhaps only a fuzzy memory when you must fight for your own mind 24 hours a day. Only discovering my own implant(inside my ear canal next to my eardrum) by accident when I was being treated with accupuncture and electronic stimulas through the needles on my ear lobe and it made the implant bleed profusely, perhaps 25 years after the implantation(without my consent or knowledge). I had been approched by a member of the airforce at march airforce base in california to volunteer for psychological warfare experiments after the implantation and the start of the use of electronic warfare weapons on myself. I refused ,of coarse, and was punished for keeping their experimentation on me illegal(if you “sign ze paper” everything they do to you is legal)

wow… I got out of the military just in time. I never would agree to that. And sad thing is, I never would have had a choice. ugh…..

    1. Since when have medications made anyone healthy? The logic of this argument falls apart.
Allopathic medicine by design only treats symptoms (via surgery or prescription) and does not primarily seek to heal. Individual doctors wish to heal, but the allopathic medicine as we know it today does not.

    2. Nice PR job whitewashing the actual, likely sinister purposes of this project.

If they really wanted to check the health status of a soldier, kinesiology does a beautiful job. No jabs or chips required. God help the soldiers (or others) who have or will receive this treatment.

And how do you modulate all those things? Some are done via the glands. And where are pineal and pituitary glands? In the brain. So where will the chips be put? Close proximity would be my guess (ie in the brain).

Of course the first couple years will be a raving success with no drugs and lots of good results. The public will be clamouring for theirs shortly ……

    What could possibly go wrong?

      I meant hypothalamus and pituitary.

I wonder if chipping and singularity is really just masking the slow devolution of mankind, John C Stanford in ‘Genetic Entropy & The Mystery of the Genome’ argues 100 irreversible deleterious mutations per generation (1% per generation) leads to an irreversible downward spiral to mutational breakdown.

I wonder if technology is really just a crutch for a failing biological entity ( a bit like Star Wars and the dark side), look at all the ailments we are suffering, cancer, heart disease, food allergies, Alzheimer’s, infertility, asthma etc.

Maybe the Gnostics were right and matter is inherently evil, with technology being the usurpation of living spirits by matter (technology). Certainly gives new meaning to the ‘mark of the beast’, where accepting the mark means being assimilated by a technological entity and losing the living spirit, becoming a soulless mechanical automaton.

With the rap sheet America has be very afraid the bright side our oligarchs are very far from being the smartest of schemers. But that again can make them more dangerous doing things and taking chances that the smarter puppet masters wouldn’t take. This looks like the wet dream of the NAZI’S for a super soldiers or the Imperial Cone Stormtroopers from Star Wars. One problem the temptation of our oligarchs to turn their soldiers into mindless or better yet soulless killers might be to powerful to resist.

I hope they are a good thing….funny i had a dream about creating a computer chip that could create stars, planets, moons and even biological creatures. It was all based on e.m. and mushrooms.

      Ummm, I like that dream.
Find your dog to find your child, it’s all for good and safety.

Im Concerned about the “mental health” part.. and what kind of “stimulus pattern” and if some conditioning could be done along with it.

Wouldn’t want those soldiers fighting for the republic/democracy.
After all, they are to follow orders from the commander in chief; even if it those orders means to kill fellow citizens of, for, and by the people of a republic.

The wolves in sheep’s clothing have raised the sheeple in this global poker game of private power versus public power:

    Chips all in,
to insure private power over public will.

      RB:

And there are indeed all sorts of potential problems with chipping people. Then it’s a big step from chips for tracking, to chips for explicit control.

However Obama did not just order that soldiers be implanted with chips. He extended a development program, one I’m sure started years ago.

  12. Lost on September 12, 2014 at 6:31 am

Except the Washington Post article DOES NOT say, quoting the Farrell blog:

“on a plan of the Obama Administration to implant soldiers”

    It says:

“one of them [plans] centered on a particularly novel effort: The development of new computer chips designed to modulate”

And this development is not something new. Right, the Obama administration is further pursuing plans, and already developed gear, that have been under development for years.

Development is very different than Obama actually ordering this implantation, the latter reads like something from the John B Society.

Then yes, for reasons of speculation this tech could lead to all sorts of things–some even potentially helpful, some not.
