Artificial wombs: The coming era of motherless births
Perhaps the story here can be summed up with the opening passges of the first article:
"The artificial womb exists. In Tokyo, researchers have developed a technique called EUFI — extrauterine fetal incubation. They have taken goat fetuses, threaded catheters through the large vessels in the umbilical cord and supplied the fetuses with oxygenated blood while suspending them in incubators that contain artificial amniotic fluid heated to body temperature.
"For a moment, as you contemplate those fetal goats, it may seem a short hop to the Central Hatchery of Aldous Huxley’s imagination. In fact, in recent decades, as medicine has focused on the beginning and end stages of pregnancy, the essential time inside the woman’s body has been reduced. All these technologies are essentially new, and with them come ethical questions so potent that the very inventors of these miracles seem half-afraid of where we may be heading."
And this passages from the second article:
"Whether Haldane’s view will prove correct about the specific timing of when ectogenesis might become popular, or the numbers of children born that way, it’s certain that he was correct that tAt the same time, he was right that the societal implications are sure to be significant as the age of motherless birth approaches."
"The age of motherless birth approaches..." That says it all.
And it is this I find so disturbing. There will doubtless be some who view the whole notion as a great boon to humanity: parents unable to have children for whatever reasons of health, a woman unable to bear children but who nevertheless wants them, might, should the arc of technological development suggested in the two articles continue, be able to do so. And of course, all of this will be "sold" to humanity as a good thing. Call me a Luddite, if you will, but I am not so sure. Far from it. Our earliest contact with other human beings occurs in our mother's womb. We hear her heartbeat and breathing and conversation. We might hear, even, distant and muffled, our father's voice. But our human development begins there and not, as some would have it, outside the womb. Our personhood begins there in that primordial ocean, surrounded by the muffled voices of a community of remote indecipherable gods from the get-go.
But now our technology threatens to take away even this most primordial humanizing experience, and, if one read between the lines a bit, it is a profoundly anti-feminine, anti-female agenda that it portends; it is a kind of technological rendering of superfluousness of the feminine and the female that I find so disquieting about this, for our first human interactions, whether we are male or female, is in the womb, with our mothers. We can imagine, of course, the kind of totally "technotronic era" envisioned by twisted minds, where everything is plotted and planned by the great corporate state: this seminal sample will be matched with that egg sample, be born in an Ehrlenmeyer flask, and nurtured in a test-tube tank with the appropriate "nutrients" monitored by cold and remote technicians until the "time of birthing," when it will all be disconnected and, perhaps like Neo, flushed out of the system, or handed over to pre-selected "parents" to raise "it." Of course, the scientismists will object that they can play pre-recorded conversations of the selected parents in the artificial "womb" and thus head off all possibility of whatever dehumanizing might occur. And this, of course, is the reduction. And we can envision more horrors of the reductionist kind as well, for "as the age of motherless birth approaches," so too, the age of fatherless conception must lie not far behind. And once the scientismists bring us there, with fatherless conceptions and motherless wombs and births, one can imagine the inevitable psychological impact.
And it will all continue until some bright(or really, just common sensical) psychologist notices that "something tends to be wrong" with the portion of the population "birthed" (or even "conceived") in this way, because the bottom line, folks, in spite of all attempts to reduce it to merely material processes or chemical reactions or statistics, is that love is not a material quantizable phenomenon, and anyone who tells you otherwise, is lying, and knows he (or she) is lying.

It’s literally ritual child abuse from conception onward. My head is spinning and am honestly sickened by this. What if all the humans on earth came together and willed/prayed that these alien monsters were healed of their evil? I think that seriously might work.
This is such a thought provoking theme I suddenly thought after reading all the excellent comment over and over. Is this a way to get around the cloning laws that are world wide or should be against cloning humans. This just may be what they have in mind to make clones and reading about the distress invoked perhaps their new slaves would be more compliant. If mother is nurtured safe and happy with father during pregnancy then it is the 2 that make the 3.
If father and mother are unhappy then it is the 2 that undoes the 3.
There is so much variation. There are happy pregnancies with sound mothers that have nightmare kids. Its a role of the dice.
While it does have the ability to end abortion as we know it and be an viable “Alternative 3” in the “right to life/choice” political football and help premature babies to survive it does raise a lot of questions.
When all “abortions” are now transfered to artificial birth with no parents claiming them, what happens to them then? The correct adoption criteria of prospective parents won’t match the majority so what to do? Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines! Yes the government would raise them and give them jobs as soldiers.
No family to be concerned with. Recruitment becomes trivial. Then along the way they find some genes that would really benefit combatants ….

Well i remember when they first talked about test tube babies i thought that was going to be be way too small but now EUFI with artificial wombs it really is a mens world to do with out women being part of this at all well really way too far and those virgins have no idea what they are missing with the real thing.
But perhaps this has everything to do with the elite scumbags planning to go off world after the mess they have left behind for all the rest of humanity. The food, water and air contaminated in their bid to control the rest of those here nothing is sacred anymore and even they believe they have gone beyond it even effecting them now. Artificial humans. What would compose the psyche of such a creature? I imagine a being who has all the faculties granted to a human, and those artificially enhanced to a degree unknown presently, yet totally void of anything but the most basic instincts of self-indulgence. A creature totally, remorselessly loyal to only its own ego.

My opinion is that there will never be enough money for this to be very common. I would have to guess that a normal pregnancy would be thousands of times cheaper to “produce” a new human being. Just my opinion. In today’s world of global financial collapse, who’d ever pay for this sort of thing (for a large percentage of society)?

It took me “4” complete reads of “Transhumanism” for the real story to sink in, and when it did, it was like a brick going through a plate glass window. These scientists from hell are messing with something that is so “unhuman” that the question arises, WHY ARE THEY DOING IT?
Oh they’ll tell you it’s all in the need to improve medicine and cure all kinds of bad things in the body. Well I probably won’t be around to see all this killing of Mother Nature, and this planet is on a down hill slide, it makes me sad for future generations of kids who will have to “accept” this genocidal murder of Nature.
OMG! You made it through four reads of “Transhumanism” ??? That was the book I had the most trouble with. Gagging all the way…
And I don’t even have children (“skin in the game” so to speak). The whole thing made me gag.
And now I am thinking my Higher Self knew what it was doing when it helped me make the Soul Choice NOT to reproduce in this lifetime (have known this consciously, as a soul choice, since about age 10-ish). I don’t think I could stomach facing the truth of what is happening on this planet if I did. No wonder so many “sheeple” are looking down and quickly away from inconvenient truths. It is TOO painful, really, to contemplate what humanities likely trajectory is from this point forward.

Between genetic modification (seed and human) and re-engineering — to say nothing of the Fukushima disaster, which I am convinced is basically an extinction level event, just not completely obvious yet — ARE WE THE LAST OF THE HUMAN BEINGS?
It has me thinking of Bashar’s version of the greys. That he comes from a timeline (there are more than one, apparently) where there was an “extinction level event” that “happened” (sometime around now) and that they (THOSE greys) are future humans, come back to collect (post 2011 DNA) and to try to change the timeline. There is another (we would call it negative) timeline of greys who come out of same event who are also here to make sure THEIR timeline goes forward (“grandfather effect,” basically). One was 45,000 years in the future and the other 52,000 years in the future. I forget which is which. But the story is resonating with me now, as events unfold.
Sadly…as someone else commented. SO sad, indeed… And they wonder why I have this “sad” look in my eye? I believe it because I see all this too clearly, sometimes…

another correction: came back to collect “PRE-2011 DNA”….is this why the greys were so heavy into collecting DNA during those couple of decades and then seemed to just “drop off” on that activity? Maybe they knew exactly what the “cut-off” line was for DNA that was not damaged by chemicals or manipulation of any kind.

If your ultimate goal is to produce a “Moon Child”, a soulless entity, for possession by bodiless entities, regardless of their intent, then this might be one viable way to do so. you’ve got some interesting points there WD. The bible has many compelling encoded historical and future messages. If that alleged immaculate conception really happened, then things get more interesting. there are some things that seem to indicate that we have that intangible component to us. for example that phantom phenomena (phantom pain/sensation.. now there’s something they call phantom DNA). another is the case of Carly Fleischmann, if you think about it, somebody lucid (her actual self/essence) is still in that body despite her medical condition. things that make you go hmmm.. and also, there’s that interview of Norman Bergrun, he said something interesting about his son.
Yes I agree that the bible says some very interesting things about what many consider the ‘last days’ and if one reads it in light of the subjects discussed on this site, they may indeed be last days, because I have a hard time seeing how the human race can survive all these ‘advances’. When the bible speaks of God searching out those who have made their home in the stars, then maybe that’s exactly what is meant, and all those hybrid creatures in Revelation may be exactly that, including the soldiers who march as a single entity (mind control or beehive) can walk up sides of buildings entering into windows to destroy. This might be a segway of sorts to selective conception by way of eugenics. Btw, you mentioned that in the womb, the fetus is in contact with the heart. It is known that the heart is the organ that produces the strongest EM field in the body. Could it have an effect or will something be lacking if a fetus will not have this contact? Just a thought. more and more, it seems directed to our immaterial being.

This practice seems conceived to add yet another hellish dimension to human life which even in the best of circumstances is already full of problems. Anyway, as in many of these “wonderful” techniques, the alleged benefits are extremely limitied in scope, and do little to conceal the meme of the desirability of putting our fate into the hands of an all-knowing, all-wise and (above all) all-wealthy technocracy for no good reason at all.
Or perhaps there are very specific reasons. The notion that “ectogenesis” would become “popular” is misleading: knowing the mentality of these people, we might actually be looking at further experiments of the “supersoldier” sort to dehumanize individuals, starting from the fetal stage.
As an aside, the concept of “motherless birth” offers real field day for Freudians with nothing better to do.
