TIDBIT: YOU TELL ME: STRANGE CLOUD FORMATION OVER CERN

So many people sent me this one, that I was heavily tempted to make it the subject of the main blog today, but I would like to see other corroborating sources or witnesses. Nonetheless, it is worth passing along for your consideration:

What IS going on over the Large Hadron Collider? US tourists claim to have filmed mysterious vortex of clouds and UFO orb of light flying into it above Swiss facility

Having worked in video for nearly 30 years, including some CGI, I would have to relegate this to a hoax. While the cloud spiral in the back was nicely matched in terms of color and texture, the contrast was off and the depth of focus seemed off as well.

Of course, given the generally poor quality of the video as a whole, the spiral could be real, but I doubt it. The orb is obviously fake.

I got a kick out of one comment under the video that “even the most powerful computers in the world could not fake that.” Obviously the commenter hasn’t seen a movie in the last 30 years, nor seen games like Eve online. You can do things much more realistic than this on a really good home desktop.

Computers, even ones within reach of most households, could easily do far better than this. If it was an HD video, the fakeness would be more obvious. The low quality of the video hides a lot. It is easier to fake things in low quality pix and video – the noise levels mask a lot.

Now, given the number of people walking around with some pretty decent cameras in their phones, I would expect to see a lot more videos of this event from various points of view, as happened with the “meteor” over Russia. If the phenomena was really that big, we should see dozens of pix and videos from various locations around the area. It lasted long enough even for me to have been able to get my phone out from an inside pocket, unlock it, launch the camera and take a picture or video in much higher resolution than this.

The fact that there is only one video, and that the pix are obviously stills from that video, leads one to conclude it is most likely a hoax. Switzerland is not a poor country, and I would bet there is a pretty high percentage of the population with good quality phones and cameras at hand.

One only has to look at the “UFO attacks the Taliban” and similar videos to realize that there is a community out there with decent computers and software dedicated to making hoax videos – whether paid or just for fun.

Always be suspicious of a single source in cases like this. Large organizations have been able to do this since the 80s – check out Stewart Brand’s article from the mid 80s called “The End of Photographs as Evidence of Anything.” (I don’t remember the exact name of the magazine, but it was the quarterly that followed on from the Whole Earth Catalog folks.) If I had time I would dig it out of my archives.

This is so fake I cried. While laughing!

To think that we’re all gonna remember those two anonymous american tourists and their even dodgier Area 51 Youtuber, excuse me Section 51, LOL, and the day they broke the video (news) of a CERN experiment gone haywire. Or as planned! Who really knows.. And they’re not talking to anyone.. Not even CERRRRRRRNNNN!!

This is a mystery for Scooby Doo & the gang

    • 8thdegreeofj on January 22, 2016 at 1:47 pm

Shaggy called and had this to say, “Me n’ Scoob are pretty sure that Americans think CERN is a type of Swiss chocolate!”

He also offered the observation that to a well-seasoned scooby snack partaker like himself that the white poofy orb is most likely from a group of scientists passing around a joint outside the back door of the lab.

Fred noted that the surrounding clouds, on their fringes, look suspiciously like a fast-forwarded video overlay while a man’s voice in the background sounds just normal.

Daphne, who is an expert in putting up her finger to check the direction of the wind commented that the significant wind noise that accompanies the first part of the video is absent after the swirly swirly goes away. She & Fred both agree that the mans voice should not have been that clear during such gusty, windy moments.

And Wilma, who was shaving her legs at the time the gang was watching the video cut herself and swore loudly. Scooby started going berserk (not snack related) and after much interpretation it was agreed that anybody witnessing such an extraordinary thing would not be of the calm, cool & collected manner that the male camera holder is expressing. Nor his quiet companion standing close by.

On a more sober note, and in light of what appears to be fakery, who has an interest in producing a scam like this? I would say a supra-national privately funded intelligence organization. Of the kind that uses AI to predict outcomes. IMO this video is almost certainly of a trojan horse-like nature. The AI has the ability to gather, analyze and report on the ‘interest’ these video’s generate and a whole lot more. It’s a kind of a pulse-checking mechanism that can be applied.

It would not surprise me in the least if we were to learn that the voice in the video is that of a crisis-actor. They seem to be in a lot of places these days…

  3. Centauri on January 15, 2016 at 6:17 am

Greetings good Doctor! As ever, I appreciate the work you do. I bet many of you are saying, “oh boy, here’s Centauri with some more weird, unverifiable nonsense.” Well, that’s just fine. I’m here to help and maybe, for some of you, just good for a laugh!

Now, I know the current reaction to anything fantastic captured on video is a knee-jerk “IT’S A HOAX, LOL” exclamation (using the current internet vernacular). Maybe some bit of video to corroborate the event will surface! I’m going to presume that it IS a genuine video account. Here is my explanation of the event.

CERN is not some multi-billion dollar science project mysteriously funded by masters of a global system that couldn’t care less about MAYBE discovering things at any price-point above a few hundred thousand. Certainly not to build said project at the scale we see CERN occupying.
CERN was built for several mischievous purposes. Opening portals happens to be one of them!
No such activity is allowed, however. There are positive-aligned beings that have quarantined the planet and the solar system for the last few years. Half of these beings are not even the same atomic/light density as we physical, 3D folks. They are not saviors, they are just ushers during this crucial time, so to speak.

So, the negative-aligned factions of many different species have been in a panic. The video shows an attempt to open a portal by the strongest of these factions to either leave or call in reinforcements.

Then, a white sphere of light flies into the portal door and disrupts it. This sphere is a fraction of a larger entity that has left our density altogether. That is the shape it currently chooses to manifest and take action in our density.

So, in short, score one for the good guys and get ready for an interesting future, earth humans!

After looking at the video a few times, the ‘swirl’ is either Photoshop or occurring way-up in the atmosphere. When you look at the ‘neighboring’ clouds, they are not effected by this energetic structure at all; they are just placidly doing what clouds do…

If I pretend this is real, it looks like the phenomenon one would see around a micro black hole. Indrawing of air causing a low-pressure region, which in-turn precipitates clouds. Any initial rotation would cause the ‘galaxy-arms-swirl’ effect in the surrounding area.

Might the effect be ‘this end’ of an Einstein-Rosen bridge or wormhole? (Possibly application of Kaluza–Klein theory?)

I’ve just done a quick whirl around the wobblenet. I looked through some Swiss news sites, blogs, weather sites… No mention of the vortex cloud formation.
I saw a few radar images too and the whole country was and is overcast.
      (Head scratching)

  6. Dan on January 14, 2016 at 4:40 pm

Cern has been experimenting with cloud formation and the effects of cosmic rays upon cloud formation and weather in general for some years now. They were doing it in a clean box.
Have they perhaps let something out of the box?

  7. OrigensChild on January 14, 2016 at 3:49 pm

Cool video at least. If this represents the right location and the events are real, it may be a smoking gun to some experiment by someone. But was it CERN? I would like corroborative evidence that CERN was responsible. I’m not saying I am skeptical of whether CERN can create such effects. I just do not see anything here linking CERN as the cause. Maybe I missed something.

Cool video though. Reminds me of the mysterious booms from a few years ago! And also the strange lights…

    • OrigensChild on January 14, 2016 at 4:03 pm

Oops. Sorry Dr. Farrell. Your comments were so terse that I read them only after I explored the link. I should’ve added the word too somewhere. I just thought of the irony this would represent if the experimenter was doing their own demonstration with more sophisticated, and much cheaper, technology.

Looks like they are getting closer to manipulated electromagnetic forces; the fabric of space time; and even delving into the quantum fluctuations, crossing that supposed line between the observer/reality.
Playing with the unholy fire of the Gods?
Yet, it’s part of our nature – to explore new worlds.
    The question remains though:
    Cui Bono?

  9. DanaThomas on January 14, 2016 at 12:43 pm

Funnily enough, CERN has a project called CLOUD (Cosmics Leaving OUtdoor Droplets) ostensibly regarding cosmic rays.

  10. Aridzonan_13 on January 14, 2016 at 11:43 am

It does appear to be the start of the same style phenom that took place in 2009 over Norway when Prez O. got his pre-approved “Nobel Peace” prize https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qkc9WXxg66A..

Let’s see, we have wierd gene splicing experiments and CERN appears to be manipulating the fabric of time and space. Welcome to Atlantis reborn..

Just waiting for a terminator killing machine to materialize and start it’s mission. What are they hiding at CERN.

  12. kitona on January 14, 2016 at 6:51 am

Considering how much energy the LHC uses, one would think that swirling clouds would be the least of the visible side effects.
