THE TRANSHUMANIST SCRAPBOOK: VOLUNTEERS NEEDED TO BEAR NEANDERTHAL ...

...yes, you read that correctly, if you're a woman and have nine months (or thereabouts) to kill, a Harvard professor wants you to bear (and raise?) a nice Neanderthal baby:

Wanted: 'Adventurous woman' to give birth to Neanderthal man - Harvard professor seeks mother for cloned cave baby

Here's the project in outline:

Professor George Church of Harvard Medical School believes he can reconstruct Neanderthal DNA and resurrect the species which became extinct 33,000 years ago.

His scheme is reminiscent of Jurassic Park but, while in the film dinosaurs were created in a laboratory, Professor Church’s ambitious plan requires a human volunteer.

He said his analysis of Neanderthal genetic code using samples from bones is complete enough to reconstruct their DNA.

He said: ‘Now I need an adventurous female human.

‘It depends on a hell of a lot of things, but I think it can be done.’

Professor Church’s plan would begin by artificially creating Neanderthal DNA based on genetic code found in fossil remains. He would put this DNA into stem cells.

These would be injected into cells from a human embryo in the early stages of life.

It is thought that the stem cells would steer the development of the hybrid embryo on Neanderthal lines, rather than human ones.

What is interesting here are the "memes", in the form of "reasons", for why such a bizarre project would be attempted:

He believes his project could  benefit mankind.

He told German magazine Der Spiegel: ‘Neanderthals might think differently than we do. They could even be more intelligent than us.

‘When the time comes to deal with an epidemic or getting off the planet, it’s conceivable that their way of thinking could be beneficial.’

Scientists say that his plan is theoretically possible, although in Britain, like most countries, human reproductive cloning is a criminal offence.

But Professor Church’s proposal is so cutting-edge that it may not be covered by existing laws.

However, experts worry that neo-Neanderthals might lack the immunity to modern diseases to survive, and some fear that the process might lead to deformity.

There is also uncertainty over how they would fit into today’s world. Bioethicist Bernard Rollin of Colorado State University said: ‘I don’t think it’s fair to put people... into a circumstance where they are going to be mocked and possibly feared.’

I’m with you Dr.Farrell , this is a bad idea and a stupid one also, there are so many what ifs and maybes, these people don’t know what they are doing, they certainly try to convince all of us that they do but I don’t buy it , a bunch of crazy people IMHO

The flight from this world has resulted in not6hing less than a flight from t5he human condition. It is precisely our exodus from the planetary domain that ends up being a source of our flight from ourselves, a metaphysical hypnosis transfix by our gaze upon technologies that promise us escape, but tightens its evolutionary/profit driven expanding coils around humanity’s disposable future. Alienating the web of life from the very world systems upon which we completely depend.
We’ve become a modernized Neanderthal in the new age of the disembodied self. Our sense of self has been dramatically altered as we witness a full-spectrum takeover of our public spaces/nature by a culture of specialization.

Excactly Robert mankind has been so brainwashed over the last 5 centuries they don’t even know what kind of wonderful and magnificent system they live in nor do they understand the true nature of the Earth, they have lost touch with it and in doing so themselves

There is a theory that Rh negative blood came from the Neanderthals.
Two pub med study’s; how toxoplasmosis viral and bacteria disease affect Rh negative/positive people.
It’s very strange that their focus is on personality factors like Super Ego Strength, competitiveness, self transcendence, ageing, radicalism, dominance, ergic tension and a few more.
Now what would self transcendence have anything to do with studying disease.

This is a hornet’s nest of every conceivable issue. However, setting that aside for a moment…

The various books that I have read on the Anunnaki hybridization-attempts steer clear of a certain topic. Who were the pre-‘human’ (pre-Cro-Magnon) hosts’? Physical evidence shows that pre-‘humans’ had greater brain capacity than current humans (Cro-Magnon and up to present). Establishment-types try to explain this away with an brain-to-body-mass argument. However, it is not clear whether this is an appropriate argument within effectively the same species.

So, this leaves us with the unsettling possibility that pre-‘humans’ may have been dumbed-down for their slave-labor routines. Pacified. Semi-lobotomized. Who knows what troublesome abilities may have been ‘edited out’.

In Tolkien mythology, orcs were created out of debased elves by Sauron. Is this a ‘racial memory’ of who we once were?

(That is why I am intrigued by this proposed ‘experiment’…)

Well Goshawks, I think the Tower of Babel moment in the Anunnaki story has the “first” adamu being too smart, and the gods thought “we can’t have this”, as they will be able to do whatever they want to do, hence our consciousness “capability” was reduced. However this is not the case for the Egyptians, they knew all about the universe, and in my opinion, they could “talk to it”.

      • goshawks on July 25, 2016 at 8:28 pm

DownunderET, good point. I had forgotten about the first ‘model’. This does, indeed, give notice as to the real Anunnaki motives…

As to the Egyptians, they come much later – at least in known history. The Anunnaki were ‘tinkering’ between 250,000 years ago and 40-50,000 years ago. The ‘star dating’ by Robert Bauval of the Sphinx puts it at the end of the last Ice Age, around 10-12,000 BC. Unless the Egyptians were led by the Anunnaki (which their own records seem to indicate), there is an age discrepancy…

Hi – whooo Annunaki.. Hang on, getting my nuclear powered keyboard out.. Tower of Babel had nothing to do with Adapu, he was dead long before the flood. Bab-li was (according to old texts, which in turn are according to other authors) created by Marduk as he wanted his own spaceport, probably peeved off with Ninurta and Utu and even Inanna getting lots of responsability.. and poor Marduk being the first son of a first son..had no ‘real’ powers because the Annunaki were too busy gettin in on with half sisters. And Marduk got married to an Earthling.. (and we wonder why they had no moral issues with gene-splicing homo habilis into a slave race.. sorry primitive worker.) I’m still unsure how the Enlites were able to ‘break’ speech.. Possibly bombed the remaining Adapites in the area with large amounts of radioactive Mercy and Love until they forgot how to write and read because they were too busy running for their lives, that individual languages were created (or the original language quickly downgraded to colloquilism and pigeon sumerian)by the survivors…
However.. coming back to the original story.. What needs to be REMEMBERED is that the major advances in ‘evolution’ were following direct sexual contact (or at least DNA transfer) with the Gods.. or Long John Enki as he was known to his Friends.. It was probably a running joke from the epoque.. Ohh Enki’s found ANOTHER Earthling in a Reed basket on the River.. Sure Enki, it looks nothing like you with it’s blue eyes and white skin..

So the real question here is.. Is this an attempt for evolution or Devoltion?

          • goshawks on July 27, 2016 at 2:35 pm

Kahlypso, good to meet another reader who is not afraid to discuss our origins.

By the way, I suspect DownunderET’s usage of “Tower of Babel moment” was generic, rather than that actual ‘event’. In these pages, commenters use it more to describe when Someone rises to become a perceived threat and then is ‘bombed’ back into insignificance. It is often used to describe the human situation, today…

Outside of character flaws, I suspect Marduk was shunned by both camps (Enlil and Enki) because of the death of Dumuzi. It was suspected that an enraged Marduk foiled the marriage of Enlillite Inanna & Enkiite Dumuzi. When Dumuzi went for a walk, he slipped near a cliff, and was killed. “Yeah, right,” I suspect both camps thought. Dumuzi and Inanna’s marriage was seen by others as a last-ditch opportunity to reconcile the two camps. In one way, Dumuzi’s death was a major turning point in history…

(After this heartbreak, a previously-happy Inanna became more Cleopatra-like and went for power, instead. She also went up against Marduk directly, when the Anunnaki civil war broke out.)

            A good story:

          • Kahlypso on July 28, 2016 at 10:54 am

Hi Goshawks, thanks for the link, Ive never seen this website – something to crawl through this afternoon 🙂
Marduk did indeed defeat the marriage plans of Inanna and Dumuzi by getting his sister Gestinanna (and by definition the sister also of Dumuzi…) to seduce Dumuzi and then claim rape.. See Enlil and Ninlil.. Apperently Dumuzi slipped from a cliff and fell into a river and drowned as he was running wildy as he was afraid of the consequences of Gestinanna’s claims.

However I would like to point out that Marduk was reacting to Inanna’s claims to meglomany and a world wide kingdom ruled by Dumuzi and herself.. Which probably irked MArduk as Ea had already promised dominion of Ki to Marduk.

What I cant understand.. is why didnt the annunaki recuperate Dumuzi body and bring him back to live, as they do for Inanna after she’s staked to left to die by her sister Erishkigal,

          • goshawks on July 29, 2016 at 3:00 am

Kahlypso, yeah, some unknowns around Dumuzi’s death and non-resusitation. One wonders if the body was kept by Marduk until some critical point was passed…

Anyway, I just wanted to point out how different a world we might have today (good or bad, from a human perspective) if the two Anunnaki sides had been unified by a Romeo-and-Juliet style marriage…

          • Kahlypso on July 29, 2016 at 7:09 am

We wouldnt have Judaism, Catholicism, or Islam. We’d probably still be worshipping the Father Creator as we were taught to before the Flood. Then Civilisation came about as we were needed to rebuild the drowned civilisation that came before and Annunaki became ‘God of..(insert necesary discipline here.. eg Sheep) To be honest though Goshawks, I dont think that Marduk did keep the body, Inanna recuperated it pretty quickly and mummified it.. Seeing as they were able to ressuscite .. darn it can’t rememember his name.. first mars commander, lead the (1st) Igigi revolt, shot down by Ninurta.. when they found his still lifeless corpse on Mars.. I think that it may be because of his (suspected) half human nature..

With all due respect to my American friends, I’m afraid your country is SCREWED. With stories like this coming from such a respected university like Harvard, then you have to ask yourself why ??
Anybody want to talk about the US foreign policy, your election, your Hollywood, your education system, Gulf of Tonkin false flag, JFK, 9/11, the Federal Reserve, and now this.
Unless you get rid of the elites running your once great country, then the madness will continue.

This “adventurous woman”, if she were also enterprising, would point out the fact that, nine months of child-bearing duty are usually preceded by at least a few minutes of sublime enjoyment, and would negotiate accordingly….;^)

I find myself thinking about a gentleman who worked for the State of Rhode Island (in a substantial position) during the 90’s who had a large brow ridge. It was, he told me, associated with an increased risk of heart attacks (it certainly didn’t affect his intelligence).

This is unethical. The reports that Neanderthal characteristics may be associated with what are, in today’s world, health problems is too credible and no. I do not believe that exposing a child to what would very likely be a short painful life – period – could teach us enough to be worth the pain. Many of the people associated with the Gorilla who learned ASL have said they now consider that to have been, at least, unethical because they helped her develop false expectations.

The lab’ll force the baby’s mama to sign “licensing” agreements.

When baby matures and joins the work force, the lab’ll get a “cut of the action.”

Baby’s mama will be held liable for any damages baby may cause.

We see how it is …

I would suggest they have an alterior motive for a Neanderthal resurection. A scientist has put forth a new thesis on what Neanderthals were. They matched up closer to chimps in their facial profiles, were six times stronger than humans, ate only meat and had large eyes for hunting at night. He called them super predators. They were more like Grendel and / or the Werewolf than Neolithic Fabulous, Fury, Freak Bros.. Where when they met up with “modern humans”. They started to hunt us.. See: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mZbmywzGAVs for details.

    • WalkingDead on July 25, 2016 at 9:57 am

Given the persistent stories of Sasquatch, Yeti, etc. it is conceivable that they may still exist in small numbers in some of the more inaccessible areas of the earth. These creatures seem to fit well with this video.
The questions still remain: why you would want to bring them back at all; and why would you desire to create a hybrid chimera with humanity using their DNA?

    • marcos toledo on July 25, 2016 at 11:20 am

The problem Aridzonan is this a rehash of the murdering savage excuse of genocide that Western Europeans, Asians have given for their atrocities when they take over other people properties. His portrayal of the Neanderthals remain me of the pictures of the people of Terra del Fuego subhumans. I think the real fear that the scientist who are against this is that the surviving people they have tried to exterminate could use this technology to use this to revive and bring back their people from the brink of extinction. I am not afraid of having Neanderthals back living among us I am sick and tried of the millennia exterminations that have gone on already.

    • Roger on July 25, 2016 at 1:12 pm

So he wants to bring back the trolls does he. Perhaps they still exist and are bigfoot or perhaps bigfoot is an escaped or released re-created Neanderthal.

“Just Because WE CAN DO CERTAIN THINGS Doesn’t’ Automatically MEAN WE SHOULD DO THEM….!”

  12. WalkingDead on July 25, 2016 at 6:46 am

There is more to this story than meets the eye, methinks. Just which one of the elitists is backing this morally depraved “scientist” and for what actual purpose is this attempting to be done.
Just as in Jurassic Park, the movie, will he have to “fill in” that DNA with strands from “other creatures” thus creating some “unholy” hybrid/human chimera with God only knows what unintended side effects, as in the movie. As far as I know, no one has deciphered the DNA code entirely to the point where every letter in it is totally understood. This is scientific hubris/insanity of the highest order; nothing less than some ignorant child attempting to play God with his chemistry set.
I have no doubts that such experiments have been attempted within the black projects world, but to what end? Just because you can do something, doesn’t mean you should.

  13. Kahlypso on July 25, 2016 at 5:48 am

Ninhursag come back.. all is forgiven. Right – so Enki only got the Neaderthals in place caue he mixed earthling dna with annunaki then placed the foetus into annunaki wombs.. Then he got horny and funked up with a couple of earth females to create Adapa.. Now we have Human females being muixed with Neaderthals.. but it wont be a Neaderthal.. It’ll be a human/Neaderthal hybrid..
Yeh, Im an Annunaki nut.. But this story is exactly how (according to Sitchin) the human race came about.. Mixing up the DNA and planting it into a surrogate mother. But we dont need to dig for gold anymore, the russians have solved the problem by realising that all matter is matter.. as above so below.. we dont need to dig gold, we can grow it.

    • Kahlypso on July 25, 2016 at 5:52 am

PS @Dr Farrel, you’re worried about moral implications about what would happen if it happens? You should be worried about why hasent it happened already if they have the means to accomplish it. Neadethals were far stronger than Homo Sapien Sapien and their brain capacity was larger.. They are the ultimate Anti Evolution argument (survival of the strongest..) HOWEVER if they can be controlled correctly, they’ll make excellent shock troopers.

      • iZeta on July 25, 2016 at 7:11 pm

My thoughts exactly Kahlypso. Add to that mix a little bit of AI and there you have it. iRobot Neanderthals ! ugh!

      • SoCal G on July 26, 2016 at 8:10 pm

You pointed out one of the thoughts that crossed my mind Kahlypso: if they want it in this general population, they must have already been successful with the process.

        The other thought?

How do “we”, the general populace actually ~know~ that DNA is-either all or in part-from a Neanderthal?

Go ponder that for a bit.

Like Dr Farrell, I don’t anything past these people and don’t take what they say at face value.
