STUDY: THE BRAIN A HIGHER DIMENSIONAL OBJECT INTERACTING WITH A ...

Mr. V.T. found this article, and I found it to be almost endlessly fascinating, since it touches upon topics we have often discussed in our members' vidchats: the relationship between the mind, consciousness, and the physical brain:

http://www.collective-evolution.com/2017/11/06/new-theory-consciousness-doesnt-reside-in-the-brain-or-same-dimension/

What's intriguing here is that in this study, consciousness is not being located in the brain, but rather, the opposite, the brain is being located in a hyper-dimensional field of consciousness. The article begins by noting that neuron clusters can only be mathematically modeled in more than three spatial dimensions:

In recently published research produced by a team from the Blue Brain Project, neuroscientists applied a classic branch of math called algebraic topology in a whole new way to peer into the brain, discovering it contains groups of neurons.

Each neuron group, according to size, forms its own high-dimensional geometric object. “We found a world that we had never imagined,” says lead researcher, neuroscientist Henry Markram from the EPFL institute in Switzerland. “There are tens of millions of these objects even in a small speck of the brain, up through seven dimensions. In some networks, we even found structures with up to eleven dimensions.”

But now, here's what I found extremely interesting. In our many discussions during members vidchats on this subject, I've held the view that (1) the mind and consciousness are distinct from the brain, i.e., that no merely materialistic explanation is adequate to the complexity of the subject; (2) that the two - the brain and the mind - exist in a complex feedback loop, and (3) if consciousness is modeled at all, it must be via an algebraic topology (echoing the insights, decades ago, of psychologist Kurt Lewin in his little known but classic study, Principles of Topological Psychology.

This, in its broad outlines, also appears to be the implied by this study:

Our brain is not a “stand alone” information processing organ: it acts as a central part of our integral nervous system with recurrent information exchange with the entire organism and the cosmos. In this study, the brain is conceived to be embedded in a holographic structured field that interacts with resonant sensitive structures in the various cell types in our body.

Essentially, Dr. Dirk K.F. Meijer, a professor at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands, hypothesizes that consciousness resides in a field surrounding the brain in another dimension. The entire body is a conduit and a collaborator with consciousness as a feedback loop.

The actual study itself is a stunner, and even its title - for "entanglement fans" - is highly suggestive: "Consciousness in the Universe is Scale Invariant and Implies an Event Horizon of the Human Brain." But the real stunners are contained in the abstract:

Our brain is not a “stand alone” information processing organ: it acts as a central part of our integral nervous system with recurrent information exchange with the entire organism and the cosmos. In this study, the brain is conceived to be embedded in a holographic structured field that interacts with resonant sensitive structures in the various cell types in our body. In order to explain earlier reported ultra-rapid brain responses and effective operation of the meta-stable neural system, a field-receptive mental workspace is proposed to be communicating with the brain. Our integral nervous system is seen as a dedicated neural transmission and multi-cavity network that, in a non-dual manner, interacts with the proposed supervening meta-cognitive domain. Among others, it is integrating discrete patterns of eigen-frequencies of photonic/solitonic waves, thereby continuously updating a
time-symmetric global memory space of the individual. Its toroidal organization allows the coupling of gravitational, dark energy, zero-point energy field (ZPE) as well as earth magnetic fields energies and transmits wave information into brain tissue, that thereby is instrumental in high speed conscious and sub-conscious information processing. We propose that the supposed field-receptive workspace, in a mutual interaction with the whole nervous system, generates self-consciousness and is conceived as operating from a 4th spatial dimension (hyper-sphere). Its functional structure is adequately defined by the geometry of the torus, that is envisioned as a basic unit (operator) of space-time. The latter is instrumental in collecting the pattern of discrete soliton frequencies that provided an algorithm for coherent life processes, as earlier identified by us. It is postulated that
consciousness in the entire universe arises through, scale invariant, nested toroidal coupling of various energy fields, that may include quantum error correction. In the brain of the human species, this takes the form of the proposed holographic workspace, that collects active information in a ”brain event horizon”, representing an internal and fully integral model of the self. This brain-supervening workspace is equipped to convert integrated coherent wave energies into attractor type/standing waves that guide the related cortical template to a higher coordination of reflection and action as well as network synchronicity, as required for conscious states. In relation to its scale-invariant global character, we find support for a universal information matrix, that was extensively described earlier, as a supposed implicate order as well as in a spectrum of space-time theories in current physics. The presence of a field-receptive resonant workspace, associated with, but not reducible to, our brain, may provide an interpretation framework for widely reported, but poorly understood transpersonal conscious states and algorithmic origin of life. It also points out the deep connection of mankind with the cosmos and our major responsibility for the future of our planet. (Emphasis added)

Nested toroidal structures? Think dynamic torsion and rotation, and the mind as a field of such nested structures within a universe of such nested rotating structures (and think of all the "astrological" implications of that!) Field-receptive resonant workspaces? Think coupled harmonic oscillators and entanglement. Algorithmic origins of life? Think analogies and "topological metaphor of the medium." And most notably, there's that highly suggestive phrase "Its toroidal organization allows the coupling of gravitational, dark energy, zero-point energy field as well as earth magnetic fields and transmits wave information into brain tissue..." Talk about the ultimate expression of the Kantian-quantum mechanical "Copernican revolution" in bringing the Observer to the forefront in physics, and notably, by phrasing things in this manner, the paper is suggesting that consciousness itself may be the underlying unification factor in unified field theories. Even the use of "Event Horizon" in the title of the paper is highly suggestive, since that is a technical term of art usually applied to black holes.

Whatever one makes of this, it is worth reiterating what I've said elsewhere and in other contexts, we are just on the cusp of understanding consciousness and beginning to integrate it into our cosmological science. What began as a philosophical and scientific revolution with Kant and Heisenberg is not over. It is only just beginning, for the real bottom line of all of this is: "you" are not locked up inside your brain or body, but rather, the reverse.

See you on the flip side...

What interests me is how our genes, vitamin and mineral content, methylation status and neurotransmitters interact to transduce consciousness. What can turn genes off and on – switches that may affect consciousness and how/what it’s transduced or merely the efficacy/purity of the transduction. How do monoatomics and non gravity vacuums effect this process?

This is probably the most important post you’ve ever done on this site. The implications are incredible – hard science just started to catch up with shamans and mystics who have thousands of years’ head start.

This corroborates an idea I’ve long held that the brain is more like an antenna than the origin of the content. It also provides solid scientific grounding for the study of dreams, out-of-body experiences, remote viewing, etc. Those things may now be seen as simply refocusing the resonance of the “mental sub-field” within the larger field of consciousness, and the ability to “travel” and view other parts of the field no more difficult than steering a phased array radar.

And, since we dream without conscious effort (like the beating of our hearts or breathing), that means that the mechanisms for us to do these things are an inherent part of our system at a very basic level.

Learning to do them at will is not so much about requiring new skills as in relaxing into using abilities we already have, but which have been hidden from us. That door has just been thrown opened – the intellectual barricade has just been removed. We don’t need to “develop” these abilities, just learn to access and use them. As with the “sound barrier” and “4 minute mile,” now that there is solid reasoning to doubt this fake barrier, I expect to see rapid progress in this arena.

This also reminds me of Barret’s work in using Leyton’s higher dimensional math to analyze Tesla’s circuits and finding that they operate coherently in higher dimensions. Who needs implants and cyborg attachments? We should be able to interact and control material objects directly without intervening machinery. AI just became vulnerable to us.

Transhumanism just became obsolete, as we should also be able to interact with the templates which create our physical bodies and heal anything, even our telemeres, ensuring as long an existence as we choose (and as easy a transition to other levels of existence as we wish). In fact, if this control is as extensive as I think it is, creating and un-creating, then re-creating a physical body should be within our grasp – death need only last as long as changing clothes. We could teleport ourselves – no machinery needed. So much for borders and secrets . . . .

Of course, transhumanism was never so much about immortality as it was about being able to network and control all humanity. That is now not only no longer necessary, it may not even ultimately be possible.

This also provides the scientific groundwork necessary to understand many of the things mentioned in Talbot’s “holographic Universe,” namely the unusual healing abilities of people with multiple personalities and the “convulsionaires” in Europe.

An interesting and profound turn of events (and also right in line with some current astrological transits – synchromystically enough).

For those interested in watching astrological cycles, there is a nice website for viewing and playing with planetary cycles called planetwatcher.com
You can see the position of the planets for any date and time, and step through the movements by hour, day, month or year. It is fascinating to cycle them through steps and watch the geometric and (dare I say it) harmonic constructs move and progress through time. It also pictures the traditional astrological “aspects,” or angles between planets.

It is fun at the very least, and highly instructive regarding the relative movement of the planets. Highly recommended.

“Hmm,” I thought. “It’s been a while since I looked in on Dr. Farrell.”

Three clicks later and lightening is flowing through me.

I’m almost as grateful for this comment as I am for the article itself.

      Thank you.

Thank you, too, Dr. Farrell. This is incredibly important to me.

(I’m afraid my first response to all the head-speak was “What a load of cr@p!” Moving on…)

One of my early teachers was adamant that cells have their own versions of consciousness (individually and collectively). This, of course, includes the cells of the brain, but the concept is far wider. Sometimes, the ego-self residing (only) in the brain has to be taught a ‘lesson’ by the overall body-consciousness…

In a certain sense, the brain (and the resultant ego-self) is the ‘middleman’ between the consciousness of the body and our connection back-towards Source/God/All (which I call the Higher Self). Much simpler without the scientific buzzwords…

On the ego-driven side, we think we are top dog; absolutely not. However, in ordinary consciousness, it appears so. As and when we connect-up with our Higher Self, the situation is more complex. HS, as I understand it, includes all the Consciousness Levels right back to all-God. Those levels are available at the whim and at the necessity of HS.

Personally, after I have connected-up with HS, there is a whole cornucopia of added possibilities available. They can be felt and perceived. Most times, HS does what it does with ‘me’ as a witness or observer. Ego-self gets a ‘down-translation’ of the action. But HS tends to ‘drift’ after a time. It is naturally ungrounded. If focused and stubborn, both body-consciousness and ego-self can supply an Anchor. Also, ego-self may spot fruitful-avenues that were too primitive for HS to entertain. Sometimes, these are pursued by HS. Other times, HS says that certain things would not have happened if we-three had not just ‘connected-up’.

Together, body-consciousness, ego-self, and Higher Self make a good combination…

    Huuuummm,
Yes lots of words, concepts and allusions, not to mention references……..
Could it be true research or another tongue in cheek shock test to determine the veracity of ones willingness to vet and research the research? Again pay to publish has had its notable cases of intentional fraud to open the eyes of the academics……….

Wow, that was a super-dense word-soup singularity, condensing every current alternative scientific buzzword and concept into that abstract. Good for them, they have the answer to everything!

    Anyway, yes, of course.

I forget who said this, but it sums it all up quite nicely without all the yada-yada: “If you think that consciousness resides in the brain, then you might as well believe that the person reading the evening news is doing it from inside your television.”

    Exactly!
Where creation exists is the border between the ying & the yang; between nothing and something; in what has been an apropros coined word: entanglement. It is everywhere and nowhere. It is in the very micro processes of the brain.
Indigenous Chinese views of soul were understood through a yingyang framework. Hun and po are manifestations of yang and yin in the realm of the human spirit. The earliest usage of the word po can be traced back to Zhou oracle bone inscriptions in the 11th century BCE Ying-shih Yu writes/Etymologically, po means white, whiteness, or bright light, and probably derives from the growing light of the new moon. The changing phases of the moon appeared as the perodic birth and death of its white light or po, so po became associated with yin. Po is responsible for the growth and is patterned by the waxing and waning of the moon. Therefore po is yin. Po is the yin spirit.
The first transformation in human life is called po, and when the po is produced, its yang is called hun. By means of abundance of material and refined essence[jing], the hun and po then strengthen, and so the refined essence and vigor reaches the point of spirit illumination[shenmimng]
According to Chinese traditional cosmology, the process of hun generated from po is the process of yang generated from yin.

That is to say this oness with the universe is inherent in the living. Mankind is a step up in the evolutionary process[engineered by whom/what/spirit]/?. The point is that this is no accident; it is what it is: living. As is the universe: living. And this living spirit is shared/communicated intimately in unknown ways & realms.
It is meant to be lived; not taken apart piece by piece, and reengineered so that we can become immortal gods.

Still, one as to wonder; and there it is: wonder. That curiosity which spawns intellect; whose quest is quenched by exploration; which simply wets the intellectual appetites. All this wonder – corrupted by power. The ying and the yang, in continual battle/harmony: a neverending life/death/birth story.
        An unbroken circle/cycle?

Eastern teachings have said this forever. There is the aether, or oneness, the great ocean of awareness, and then there are objects that travel through this ocean (space). The link is intuitive awareness. The brain simply does brain commputing. That all important intutive link is the magic that connects the dualistic brain with non-dual awareness. Thus consciousness is born. And consciousness is awareness as it expresses itself in duality.

Wasn’t this research already summarized in June 2017?

I know that’s when I downloaded the paper.

Also the paper is published in a pay to publish journal, doesn’t necessarily invalidate it, but that kind of publication puts it in a different category.

Normal poetry is written in Fourth Field. Fifth dimension is special magic, as one has to operate through Death Star. Calvary is door between dimensions, quintessentially.

Spatiotemporal collapse is pivotal. Setting aside persona, allows higher self to flow. To flow through Death is transmigration in sound of vibration. Absolute will power.

It is like jumping sand worms in Dune, in the crazy spot, where no woman dares to enter. Patriarch paradise in Spin Speaks.

Intelligent design or an improbable culmination of random, accidental evolutionary events over millions of years? Without a doubt, the human body, with its associated unique conscientiousness/soul attached/assigned to it, is the perfect biological “machine”. There is little doubt that it is capable of so much more than what we currently believe is possible.
It would seem that we have been steadily devolving from that original perfection rather than evolving toward it. Transhumanism is a sad attempt to regain what we have so obviously lost. Any attempt to “download” into a machine what is described above can only end in failure. We simply do not have the knowledge required to do it.

Michael Murphy wrote “The Future of the Body: Explorations into the Further Evolution of Human Nature” in 1993, investigating men and women who have displayed extraordinary physical, mental, and spiritual capacities.

Joseph Chilton Pearce wrote ” Magical Child” in 1992 as an amalgamation of the ‘best practices’ of cultures around the world, and how we can better nurture the younglings and ourselves into our Full Potential.

Also, JCP wrote “The Biology of Transcendence: A Blueprint of the Human Spirit” in 2002 where he “examines the current biological understanding of our neural organization to address how we can transcend our current evolutionary capacities and limitations. This latest research identifies our five neural centers – or brains – and establishes that our fourth and most recently developed brain is located in the head while the fifth is located in the heart.” (Amazon)

I have and have read all three books. We are sooo much more than just walking meatbags…
