TAMILS, SUMERIANS, AND ANTARCTIC STRANGENESS
Every now and then I receive an article from the "Gizars" that goes straight into the "Finals" folder, because I know when I glance through the email that I'm going to blog about it. In this case, the article was spotted by Mr. V.T., whom regular readers here will recognize as one of the regular "article finders and contributors". And readers will understand that any mention of the ancient (and still existent) Tamil people of southern India and of Sumer and Sumerians in the same context as "Antarctica" is going to raise my "suspicion antennae" into the red zone.
In this case, this is a story that was just brought to my attention, and I must confess that I am not familiar with the research of the people mentioned in the article. Like everything else in this "high octane speculation universe," exercise imagination, and caution. But once the reader has read the two parts of this article, I am certain that I won't even have to write anything further about why I am blogging about it today, though of course I'll mention it anyway.
Here's the two parts of the article:
Tamils and Sumerians Among the FIRST to Reach Australia and Antarctica? PART I
Now, the contents of the first article are sensational enough: Tamils reaching Australia does put quite a different spin on ancient history, and would appear to corroborate the investigations of my colleague Igor Witkowski - that's the same Igor Witkowski that uncovered the Nazi Bell story - in his book Axis of the World, where he argues for a very ancient seafaring culture that spread from the Indian subcontinent across the Pacific to South America, contesting the standard view of the "Bering Strait" bridge of standard academic theory. (If you haven't read Witkowski's book, it's well worth your consideration, and is available from Adventures Unlimited Press).
But as one might guess, it's really the second part of this article that caught my attention, and here I am citing the article extensively, and including the figures and plates:
On Plate 5, Dr Winters wrote: “It was unlikely that there was any connection between Hanuman and the Indus Valley, because monkey figures do not appear on Indus Valley seals.”
He further stated, “I believe this is a human figure. It would appear that these heads are leaders from various Sumerian centers that formerly existed on Antarctica.”
“These people were probably from the Sumerian colony in South America, called Kuga Ki.”
“The Marambio Island head has three signs. The signs near the eye reads 'Ta ga’ or 'Open (up) esteem.”
“At the bottom of the figure we see two signs: a 'ga' sign, and three circles which reads as 'se'; these signs say, “The Patron is Mighty”.Commenting on article Figure 7 (here below Plate 6), Dr Winters wrote, and I quote directly from his opinion piece:
Plate 6. (Courtesy author)
Sumerian Clues
Using Sumerian, we can easily read the inscriptions. There are four characters inside the 'box'. This appears to be the name of the individual and reads NALILISU which means: ‘The human being that glistens and shines (with) wisdom.’
The letters across the forehead include, from right to left, a single sign ‘u’, and a compound sign that reads from top to bottom Pa u mi Mash, or “The leader a powerful man is an Oracle and Shaman.”

- Does Socos Pampa Geoglyph Reveal Nasca Lines Were Made Centuries Before Nasca Culture?
The sign on the cheek appears to be a mash sign with an ‘I’ in the middle of the mash sign, or the determinative placed before Divine names. There is no name following the sign, so I read it as “I Mash’, Witness here the Shaman.”
Plate 7. ‘Mash’ Determinative sign used before Divine names.(Courtesy author)
We end Dr Winters fascinating report on the “Antarctica Writing ” with his transliteration of the 'Message on the Shore'; the ancient legend embedded into the Ross sea shoreline, and again I quote verbatim:
“The ancient legend embedded into the seashore is also a Sumerian inscription dedicated to one of the Arctic Chiefs.”
Plate 8. The ‘Message on the Shore’ embedded into the Ross Sea shoreline annotated with Dr Clyde Winters’ transliteration. (Courtesy author)
Note: Further examples of Linear Sumerian Writing used in South America can be found in Dr Winters excellent book entitled Ancient Scripts in South America .
As I said, I am not familiar with this whole argument nor with Dr. Winters' research, so I am assuming its truthfulness for the sake of argument and today's "high octane speculation," which we may introduce by asking the question: "Is this the reason for all of the high strangeness associated with Antarctica?" Those familiar with my interviews and blogs about the subject of Antarctic strangeness will recall that my hypothetical explanation for all the strange people associated with, or that have actually gone to, Antarctica is because "they have found 'something,'" and my guess has always been that this "something" is not evidence of secret Nazi UFO or U-boat bases - a meme I do not subscribe to - but rather, some sort of evidence tying Antarctica to Atlantis, i.e., to a very ancient civilization, and possibly indicating human habitation of that continent in the distant past.
Now we have someone arguing that there are inscriptions in Antarctica, visible, apparently, from the sea and possibly from the air as well, that show a connection to Sumerian civilization, which, if true, would seem to corroborate my "guess," which I can assure the reader I made without knowing a thing about the story contained in these articles.
This brings me to today's high octane speculation, which may be highlighted by asking yet another question: "Exactly how long were these alleged inscriptions known? When were they first detected?" And that, of course, brings us to the two famous expeditions to Antarctica, the Nazi expedition of 1938-39, under the sponsorship of none other than Reichsmarschall Hermann Goering, and the post-war American expedition, led by Admiral Richard Byrd, codenamed Operation Highjump. In my recent book Hess and the Penguins, I pointed out that there are peculiar parallels between the two expeditions: (1) both are sponsored by the two nations' militaries, and in each case, at the highest command level. In the German expedition's case, by Goering, and in the American case, planning for the expedition was overseen by Fleet Admiral Chester Nimitz, then the chief of the US Navy, and by Secretary of the Navy James Forrestal. (2) In both expeditions' case, part of their mission brief including making aerial photogrammetric surveys of the part of the continent they were respectively exploring. I have consistently suspected that both expeditions, notwithstanding any public explanations of their missions, had a hidden and secret agenda, namely, that they were both "looking for something." (And, for whatever it's worth, in Hess and the Penguins I also pointed out Admiral Byrd's son's strange death under highly suspicious circumstances when he was on his way to address the US National Geographic Society on an anniversary of the publication of his father's lengthy article about Operation Highjump. Do I suspect he was deliberately silenced, lest he "reveal" something or go off script? Yes I do.)
In that context, I have speculated that perhaps either the Germans or Americans or possibly both may have photographed something that indicated ancient settlements and an ancient human presence on the continent, and have entertained the speculation that perhaps this may have included ancient "high technology". The presence of Dr. Winters' research might thus indicate what, if anything, these expeditions may have found, and covered up: a Sumerian connection.
Now let's walk right off the end of the twig of speculation. As I pointed out in Hess and the Penguins, Rudolf Hess occupied so many positions of power within the Third Reich that it simply becomes inconceivable that he would not have been privy to whatever secrets - if any - discovered there and then classified. But more importantly, Hess was a member of the notorious interwar German secret society, the Thulegesellschaft. This society numbered some of Germany's "high and mighty" among its members, including a prince of the mediaeval banking house of Von Thurn und Taxis, which has an Italian branch, the della Torre i Tasso family. The Thule Society also adhered to the doctrine that the "Aryan race" came from off planet to this world, first landing at the poles. Which leads to yet another question: does this alleged discovery perhaps indicate that this doctrine might have some basis in fact? Might the sudden appearance of Sumerian culture in Mesopotamia, without any antecedents, a problem that has vexed standard historiography, be explained on the basis of an origin from elsewhere, i.e., from Antarctica?
It's that Sumerian connection that is so intriguing, because as I pointed out in yet another book of mine, The Cosmic War: Interplanetary Warfare, Modern Physics, and Ancient Texts, the Mesopotamian writings contain abundant clues not only that such a war was fought, but fought with very sophisticated technologies. And "Atlantis" of course was, if Plato is to be believed, a very warlike society...
...and it was eventually submerged under lots of water...
...like Antarctica...
See you on the flip side...

The head profile in plate 5 astonishingly resembles the Giza Sphinx.
Atlantis has the treasures that are filling the drooling cups of “our” wannabe Gods in waiting. These Snidely Whiplashes are even leaving “their” beautiful Nells’, half-tied to the railroad tracks, just to position themselves at the anticipated Antarctican last supper.
The Nazis, The Byrds, and who knows who of past or present; all this intelligence is certainly promising more than “we” could possibly imagine. No doubt, the wherewithal to unlock whatever is there, adds to their cups now running beyond over…
Round and round, Goshawks didn’t you have some contact with some Atlanteans when after Gateway voyaging during a debriefing? You ve got this. Mod or no mod.
What I find most intersting about these glyphs is that these same exact glyphs are very similar to what Sasquatch does with their stick glyphs. The one is called an “asterisk” another one that is showed in this article with horizontal line & 2 lines going vertically on the horizontal line is a familiar glyph in the woods they make. I also noticed these glyphs are similar to ancient Chinese. Sasquatch understands the ancient Chinese glyphs, so they probably understand the Sumerian which I will try out on them to see if they answer or make a correction.
Please keep us informed of your findings.

I have been thinking for some time now that there is something peculiar about the area of southern India. This area seems to have the ‘non-conquerability’ of Switzerland. This could just be due to the remoteness and the terrain (à la Portugal), or could be due to some form of ‘protection’ (physical or psychic):
Maurya Empire (Hindu, Buddhist): “Ashoka expanded Chandragupta’s empire, and reigned over a realm that stretched from present-day Afghanistan in the west to Bangladesh in the east. It covered the entire Indian subcontinent except for parts of present-day Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala [i.e., south India].”
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ashoka (see maps)
Mughal Empire (Muslim): “Through warfare and diplomacy, Akbar was able to extend the empire in all directions and controlled almost the entire Indian subcontinent north of the Godavari River [i.e., south India].”
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mughal_Empire
So, both Empires were stopped before consuming the extreme south of India. As pointed out in their ancient scriptures, ‘devout’ Hindus are certain of occupation by early gods (and their technology). Could South India be one place to which they retreated?
(Srinivasa Ramanujan, one of the world’s greatest mathematicians, was born in what is now Tamil Nadu [i.e., south India]. “Ramanujan’s first Indian biographers describe him as a rigorously orthodox Hindu. He credited his acumen to his family goddess, Mahalakshmi of Namakkal. He looked to her for inspiration in his work … he would receive visions of scrolls of complex mathematical content unfolding before his eyes.”)

I think Atlantis was Sundaland — the vast, submerged continent-sized plain, sitting smack on the equator, for which Indonesia and Java were its highlands, that was inundated by the catastrophic end of the last ice age. You have massively old — +30,000 years old and likely 60,000 y.o.– pyramids being unearthed there. I think the most important satellites of this civilization were the Indian subcontinent and Egypt, the Tamils and the Akkadians/Sumerians, legacy to the Phoenicians etc.
You have Phoenician inscriptions in cliffs of the Mississippi river basin, and ancient Hebrew as well. A 5000+ year old Sumerian tablet was found being worn as an amulet by a Western Indian chief in the 19th century. The Hopis have a vast, cyclical sense of time that may as well be the yugas. Tiwanaku has agricultural terraces even though it sits above the tree line today and cannot support such agriculture, and its lake has in it adapted species of saltwater fish even though it is today several kilometers above sea level. It is also a port city.
But as we know, nothing at all happened more than 3000 BC. We only learned to speak about 50K years ago, even though “science” has now reveled that dolphins and whales have dialects and can converse among each other, and that baboons can count and use an iPad.
This Atlantean, globe-spanning civilization surely had colonies on Antarctica 40-60K years ago, when it was free of ice, I’ve no doubt. Their legacy is seen on the Piri Rees map. The world was very different then. For one thing, north Africa and Egypt were lush savanna and not desert, and the Nile ran even more massively wider and 60-odd kilometres to the west of its present course. Antarctica was ice-free and Sundaland was a full continent above water with vast fertile plains and great mineral wealth.
Excellent summary! Agree totally. Add to the list the drowned cities off of NW and E India, recently-discovered and slowly being researched (and discovered by taking old Hindu scriptures seriously).
Good book on Sundaland: “Eden in the East: The Drowned Continent of Southeast Asia” by Stephen Oppenheimer (1999). That was when I first became aware of the profound effects of end-of-Ice-Age melting and sea-level rise…

When English/Scottish stone circles ‘awaken’, there is first a ‘point’ in the center which then extends into a vertical line which then broadens into a hemisphere (probably a complete sphere, with half underground). The edge of this ‘dome’ abuts the stones of the circle. Then, lines of energy shoot-out from each stone, arching out of sight. For stone circles close to sea’s edge (like at Land’s End in Cornwall), those energy lines must ‘anchor’ in areas now underwater…
Wow, so many thoughts, one scarcely knows where to start. In conjunction with Dr. F’s work:
– Antarctica as Atlantis was argued by Rand and Rose Flem-Ath in their ’95 book “When the Sky Fell: In Search of Atlantis.”
– The Flem-Aths (last name??) relied, apparently, in large part on the work of Charles Hapgood. Thus, we have to consider Maps of the Ancient Sea Kings and Earth crust displacement theory. (Connection between Hapgood and Flem-Aths alleged at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pole_shift_hypothesis)
– Bringing Tamils into the conversation now makes one want to consider the writings of Graham Hancock.
– Sumer brings to mind “Civilization One,” the megalithic yard and the very ancient origins of the English system of measure (fascinating), the megalithic ruins of Britain, etc. This, in turn, brings to mind “The Book of Enoch,” which brings to mind Templars / Masons (“Born in Blood” book is good) / etc.
Is humanity finally on the verge of learning the truth of its origins and history? There surely must be an objective truth to all of this, one which coherently explains everything. If only we’ll be permitted to see the whole and not just the individual glimpses.
Hats off to Mr. V.T. for this find.
“Is humanity finally on the verge of learning the truth of its origins and history? There surely must be an objective truth to all of this, one which coherently explains everything. If only we’ll be permitted to see the whole and not just the individual glimpses.”
It is all made perfectly clear in the Bible if one simply believes the words on the pages.
Gen 1:1… “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.”
He created; we, with help from the angelic realm, have been destroying ever since. Things got so bad as a matter of fact that God literally had to start over. He washed the world clean with water (so much is explained by that one stunningly profound act) yet we picked back up relatively quickly building “towers” the world over. No “ancient knowledge” has ever been forgotten. Just passed along to a select few. It will end when it will end. Yet and still…
Romans 5:8… “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
grace and peace…
So the questions are, when was the S. Pole free from ice to allow ancient peoples to make such a sea journey? Could this be ~4500 years in the past or ~14.5k years in the past for Atlantis and or ~40k years in the past for the alleged civilization of Mu? And is this ice free cycle starting again? Hence all the current expenditures in Antarctica?
Atlantis / Mu definitely had colonies across the globe. Egypt was supposedly a colony of Atlantis. Until the island finally shrunk to the Canary Ilse. Hence, the appearance of the mysterious “Sea Peoples” that gave two pharaohs all they could handle and possibly founded the Etruscan and other European civilizations. Ancient history is much more interesting than Academia would have us believe..
I could see the (alleged) frenzied “Atlantis” activity in Antarctica as get-in/get-out before the next Ice Age begins…
Examine the Vostok Ice Core data from Antarctica: In the below article, go halfway-down to the graph below the subti tle [hah!] “Orbital Variations”:
https://www.newscientist.com/article/dn11659-climate-myths-ice-cores-show-co2-increases-lag-behind-temperature-rises-disproving-the-link-to-global-warming/
Graph only:
https://d1o50x50snmhul.cloudfront.net/wp-content/uploads/2007/05/dn11640-1_800.jpg
Note that the graph encompasses four complete glacial cycles – roughly 100,000-year-long glaciation periods and 10,000-year-long “Interglacial Periods.” (These are sometimes called Milankovitch Cycles.) Observe that this is Much More a glaciated planet than a relatively ice-free planet.
(Perhaps, this ‘cycle’ is the physical source of the Hindu’s Yuga Era formulation…)
Note also that Earth is at – or slightly past the end – of the last Interglacial Period (on average). From this data, we should be slowly-entering a 100,000-year-long glaciated period at any time (geologically speaking).
Ironically, any man-made warming will simply count towards delaying the onset of the next 100,000-year-long Ice Age. Possibly, this is why we are being ‘kept’ in the oil/coal-burning age…
Given the Earths ~120,000 year glaciation cycles, it is conceivable that there have been numerous advanced civilizations on this planet. At least one of them left behind some of their mathematical knowledge built into megalithic structures of stone. like the great pyramid of Giza, in order to pass that knowledge to the following civilization. Those who survived the period of glaciation, would have been the “seed” for the civilization to follow.
If Carl Munck’s “code” is valid, they also left instructions on where to find other such structures, not only on Earth but also on Mars.

Earth’s history is far from what we have been lead to believe it to be; and Antarctica may be the key which partially reveals some of it.
Ah, finally someone has mentioned the Tamils, known for claiming a history dating back a couple of million years. And who say their empire once extended far into what is now the Indian Ocean and according to some as far as Antarctica. A study on the Lemuria issue: Sumathi Ramaswamy, “The Lost Land of Lemuria. Fabulous geographies, Catastrophic histories”. Univ. California Press, 2004.
Indus Valley script closely resembles Sumerian [and of course Easter Island script – see Igor Witowski, “Axis of the World”], as L.A. Waddell pointed out in 1925. The Mohenjodaro civilization is claimed both as a manifestation of the “Dravidian” culture (by the Tamils) and of the “Aryan” culture (by Waddell and later writers).
David Hatcher Childress wrote a good (if sometimes repetitious) book on those early travels, suggesting they began long-ago in India and extended to SE Asia and then into the Pacific. Something happened, and the extended supply/trade line was broken. Lots of good archeological ‘oddities’, including Nan Madol…

There is some evidence that the migration was NOT from the Indian Subcontinent, to Australia, but in fact, the other way: from Australia to the rest of the world. Some scholars present cases that all cultures on Earth have indications of influence from Aboriginal Australians. I can provide a bibliography if needed.
First, there is the DNA evidence that Aboriginal Aussies are the oldest race on earth:
“The study of mitochondrial DNA has revealed a surprising pattern among four of the five major groupings of homo sapiens: Negroid, Caucasian, Australian and Mongoloid … The Australian racial group has a much higher number of mutations than any other racial group, which suggests the Australians split off from the common ancestor about 400,000 years ago.
“This dates the origin of the Australians as almost concurrent with the emergence of Homo Sapiens from the previous Homo Erectus.” (from Robert Lawler, Voices of the First day, Rochester, Inner Traditions Bear Company, 1991, page 26)
It seems that Homo Sapiens originated in Australia and migrated from here. This doesn’t prevent us from speculating that Homo Sapeins might have originated in Antarctica at some earlier point, and migrated to Australia (and South America??) as the first foray into the rest of the world. Since we are not aware of any ancient human remains being found in Antarctica (yet), our understanding might change in the future. However, the Nazi belief that the progenitors of the Aryan race landed at the poles might add weight to my speculation here.
Second, there is the evidence of an ancient Australian presence in Egypt. There were boomerangs found in Tutankhamen’s tomb, but there were also fossils of kangaroos and other Australian marsupials found at Fayum, near the Siwa Oasis. “Outside these animals having been imported from Australia on a boat of considerable size, there is no other logical explanation for their presence available…” (From Strong, Steven and Evan, Out of Australia, Charlottesville, Hampton Roads Publishing Company, 2017 p62)
Thirdly, there is the idea that Australian Aboriginal people were skilled in astronomy and seafaring. Don’t just take their word for it; there might be archaeological evidence of ancient ships made of Australian timber. Australian light horsemen, who fought in the Sinai Desert during WW1, found the wreckage of a Phoenician armada, which was apparently sunk during an ancient battle… The Australian soldiers recognised the timber used in these boats as Australian blackbutt. (ibid)
Australian Aboriginal myths and legends are known as The Dreaming. Their ancient history/cosmology is known as the Dreamtime. Steven and Evan Strong go to great lengths in their several books, to indicate that other ancient mythologies, like those of the Dogon, are based on earlier Aboriginal ideas (Steven and Evan Strong, Ibid, pp 76ff).
Antarctica or Australia just might be the place where modern humans appeared. The inscription on the beach in Antarctica is in Sumerian. That doesn’t necessarily mean the Sumerians travelled to Antarctica. It might mean instead that Antarcticans or Australians travelled to Sumer. Perhaps some of the shining ones arrived in Sumer after a catclysm in their earlier settlement in Antarctica.
In this light, let’s re-examine the O’Briens’ version of Kharsag Epic 7, taken from their book, The Genius of the Few, page 69. “The demon cold filled the land; the Storm darkened it; in the small households of the lord Enlil, there were unhappy people.
The House of Destiny was covered over; the house of the Lord Enlil disappeared (under snow).”
A sudden cataclysm that flooded the settlement and buried parts of it under snow. Could this have happened in Antarctica, and could this have been the catalyst for a migration north to the rest of the world, eventually arriving in Sumer??

This could also be turned-around. What if the Aboriginal Aussies are the untampered-with remnants of whatever humans looked-like before the DNA modifications began? Before Anunnaki (or even prior to Anunnaki) landed or materialized? “Split off” may be mainstream-media-speak for original.
(Aboriginal Aussies are reputed to be one of the most spiritual and psychic sub-races on the planet. Guess what would be the first-to-go on any ‘pruning’ of the DNA for enslavement or serfdom?)
