As I said, watching Italy would be, and will be, lots of fun as the Eurocrats scramble to deal with it... and as I also said, watch Spain:

Leaked document from Darth Soros to “rebel scum” leaders in Italy, UK, Spain and Hungary: “Your pitiful forces are no match for the power of the Empire. As we speak, powerful algo-bot armies have been despatched to eliminate the savings of your populations. In case of quick surrender you will be provided with unlimited funds by BNPParisbas and Deutsche Bank. Otherwise you will experience in person the power of the Dark Side. Make your decision now: the Emperor is not as forgiving as I am.”

Long faces among Italian oligarchs who were expecting to get a few board appointments (Luxembourg companies, anyone?) and maybe a medal or two for services rendered to the Franco-German banks.
One detail about President Mattarella showing that he is not new to acting as Reichskommissar: back in 1990 he was defence minister when Italy adhered to the NATO-German-Vatican plan for the dismemberment of Yugoslavia, with its trail of death, destruction and the time bomb of “depleted” uranium weapons, for which the “allied” soldiers were themselves unwitting guinea-pigs…

No wonder he’s at the helm.

Stepping-up a bit, we are seeing a crisis in our civilization model. This crisis is actually to the good, although humanity has not got a clue what to do about it. Our technology and manufacturing has gotten so good that perhaps 20% of the workforce population is needed to produce goods for 100% of the population. That is why all the ‘unrest’ is growing; it has deep roots. Different solutions abound, ranging from a Georgia Guidestones type to a Bladerunner future to a Star Trek-ian utopia. Solving this ‘good’ problem will be THE task of the 21st Century…

The Italian and Spanish dramas can be seen as mini-outgrowths of the above problem. America has that situation in the wings, too. As third-world nations industrialize, they will join the problem.

We are indeed coming upon a One World situation. Science and technology have forced this upon us. The ‘war’ is over what the exact layout of this One World will look like. Tricky…

(In one way, this is good. The Star Trek Federation would not openly deal with a planet until they had ‘worked their way through’ to some sort of a one-world planetary government to negotiate-with.)

And what/whom does the Federation represent?
      Here on Earth representation is an illusion;
and an expensive one at that.

      • goshawks on June 1, 2018 at 4:49 pm

No clue as to what/whom the Federation represents. We have a data set of One on intelligent species (maybe less – and excluding dolphins, porpoises, etc.). We got in trouble with a data set of One when forecasting what other solar systems would look like (hot Jupiters, etc.); I would expect the same thing with an extrasolar ‘assembly’…

    Dr. Farrell,

Please spend your valuable time doing research in your areas of expertise, instead of wasting time on US/EURO politics in general — unless you can directly point to the Nazi international being involved, but we never hear any details except vague statements. Please focus on NAZI INTERNATIONAL and its role and leave the rest for experts in the field. And of course COSMIC WAR but once again it is clear you are not willing to share much on this topic (perhaps because it is in your books). I joined this site with different expectations. I admire your scholarly methodology and research into alternative history, but not your personal opinions of this or that political figure.

easy tt. we’re all good and we’re all doing our best to learn where and what we can. last i heard, engaging each other is not just allowing some free speech. it’s how we think, rethink and improve. what i can imagine after a few of us hash out what we think and hear is far greater than what i can imagine before hand. aka the sum of our combined thinking is vastly greater than the sum of our separate thoughts.

I suppose the experts tell truths?

Italy in the middle Spain Portugal to the west Greece to the east form part of the old Mediterranean Roman Empire. France also part of this empire was also part of the first Holy Roman Empire it’s western part Germany it’s eastern ‘part. Only the northern part of Italy it’s the central part. Germany has shown itself an incompetent manager it lacked and still lacks the skills to run Europe.

What the hell do you think the Eurozone is?
    A Democracy!?!

    DEBATE !!! ???

    Get real…. !!!

    • Robert Barricklow on May 31, 2018 at 8:51 pm

The Eurozone is finding out; this next go around, that rounding up PIGS back into the Euro-pen isn’t getting easier. In fact, those PIGS just might have minds of their own. In fact, they just might not be tamed at all; but wile, wild, & free. enough to seek their own individual sovereignties.

At least this is good news.
But the recent news of Austria’s Betrayal on the CETA trade agreement remind us of a similar betrayal of the [$]elected not keeping their sworn oaths of duty. In this case, the worlds corporatist moving closer to a top-down 21st Century corporate dictatorship.

Like Greece, the [$]elected Betrayed their countries.
        Like the old song goes…
When will they ever learn… ?
