This brings us back to the Bigger Picture: Are the PTB smart or stupid? (Assuming the PTB are human, which may be a poor assumption.) They had to know that there would be ‘blowback’ from dumping millions of refugees into the EU – from both the ‘economic’ standpoint and the ‘outsider’-reaction standpoint. So, are they smart or stupid?
I tend to favor the Problem -> Reaction -> Solution hypothesis: that they are smart, and we are being ‘played’. I don’t believe it is the ‘h0m0genization of culture’ scenario popular in some circles. These folks always are thinking of raw power, so I suspect it has something to do with that.
My hypothesis is that the ‘Merkel step-down’ is indeed a Problem -> Reaction -> Solution play, cynically using the immigrants to supply the first two ‘components’: Just like they do in America, the PTB like to swap-out sides, swap-out leadership, etc. It keeps the sheeple thinking like they have at least some say in government, although the sheeple’s ‘choices’ are carefully narrowed-down to candidates acceptable to the PTB.
In America, the PTB swap between ‘handled’ Democratic and ‘handled’ Republican leadership. In the EU, I suspect they are planning to shuffle leadership between the two leading economic powers, Germany and France (both ‘handled’ by different Rothschild clans).
I watched in amazement the ‘anointment’ of Rothschild-controlled manikin Macron over popular candidates. Obviously, long-term plans were being put into play. Now, Merkel is stepping down, and Macron is waiting in the wings. We will see the transfer of leadership from Germany to France, just because the PTB like to swap ‘parties’. And unless Europeans wise up, Macron is pre-planned to be their next Emperor, once Merkel is “forced out.” Problem -> Reaction -> Solution…
Speaking of which, I suspect the Powers behind the Italians are an ‘Outside Source’. I believe that they are high-enough to perceive the Coming Attractions, and are not pleased with what they see. I have a gut feeling that they have equal-to-more Power than the Rothschild factions, and are about to give them a run for their money…

Anyone placing bets on how long the EU will last before it joins the HRE in the dustbin of history. As for Merkel, she may be the political equivalent of a roach hard to kill.
