It is indeed about defense of vulnerable assets. However, I believe the current ‘love affair’ with the S-400 system is because of the build-up of Israeli stealth fighters (it is really not a fighter in the conventional sense; it is a bomber). Well below the MSM radar (sorry), Israel has been taking delivery of the F-35I Adir, or “Mighty Ones” at a regular pace. They are above squadron-level strength at this point, and heading higher. They just placed a new order for additional F-35Is.
How would you like to have a ‘strike from above’ and no way to stop it? Hence, the scramble for stealth-defeating anti-aircraft systems…
Israel also ‘insisted’ on the ability to have deep software access, in order to insert their own weapons – potentially nuclear – and EW systems. No other nation has this level of access. Hmm…

The big fly in the ointment is the range of the S-400 missiles. They can cover all of Israel from many other countries. Israeli jets can be shot-down shortly after takeoff. Obviously, Israel is going to push (through US sanctions) to have any S-400 sales cancelled.
It is going to be quite a push-and-shove over the S-400 buys. This is all ‘cover’ for the ability of Israel to hit any target without serious peril – including Silk Road targets…

G, does this presume that Israel wants more than a kill switch in all ways in all things? Does this presume that Israel does not want the belt to succeed and China, Russia and all to succeed? And the US to collapse? At least for the next 20 or 30 years till someone else is forced to take a turn at depop and resource reduction?
ZDB, I have always seen the nation/population of Israel as a ‘sacrificial lamb’ for higher-in-the-pyramid interests. Whether it is from Enlil/Enki ages or more-recent ‘descendants’, they are the ones calling-the-shots from the shadows. (Literally, in the JFK case.) They are there to ‘manage’ humanity, for their unknown goals. Conspiracy thinking, sure – but from informed conspiracy sleuthing.
As I mentioned in another thread, the PTB has kept humanity in stasis for thousands of years. A bit of advance here; a bit of decline there. (This speaks to long lifespan or an incredible ‘institutional memory’.) However, something changed a century or two ago. First, slow changes. Then, rapid advancement. From horseless carriages to Moon landings in less than a century. Why?
This puts us in ‘unknown territory’ for humanity’s future. I have no doubt that the US was slated to be hollowed-out and left to implode. Israel vs Iran was set-up to provide a global ‘crash’ if desired. Same for India vs Pakistan. There are a dozen ‘kill switches’ in place to take-down humanity for decades, if not forever.
However, I have a feeling that the PTB suddenly finds it ‘needs’ us. Perhaps, their Nemesis is coming-back. Humanity would be needed for war-related construction and supplies. Yes, back to a ‘worker’ race.
The bigger question is: Are we ‘serving’ the Wrong Side ?

I have always wondered why they need such a large population? They manage the wars, destruction and human misery. They manage social engineering in what we think and believe, planting ideas decades in advance.
It seems they are using human energy to create their agenda in a back magic sort of way. I’ve read that they need to announce in some way of their plans of a false flag. If you look at 911 – It was on the Simpson’s cartoon and many other suggestive pictures. I think it’s the quantum entanglement working it’s way through to the outcome.
I would like to think that today; we are now “observing” them which changes the pattern.

If you can harness repetition to your advantage, you can actually ‘create’ a habit pattern in the ethers – which will tend to precipitate-out the manifestation you wish to occur. I believe that this is the ‘source’ of much of the PTB’s ‘back magic’.
(Way back in the Star Trek movie series, Kirk rigged the starship Enterprise to blow-up [self-destruct]. Knowing the powerful symbolism of the Enterprise to many and how many times that scene would be seen [and most importantly, felt], I thought that was a terrible thing to put on screen. I felt at the time that it would ‘echo’ down into some spacecraft disaster. If you look at the Challenger and Columbia shuttle disasters within a ‘Morphogenetic Field’ viewpoint, you can actually pick-out the movie’s explosion scene [Challenger] and the reentry-of-fragments scene [Columbia]. People are powerful , even if they don’t consciously know it…)
Plus, there is the “Loosh” angle. The PTB may not be as top-of-the-pyramid as they would like to be. They may be ‘middle roaders’. RB’s “To Serve Man” may be truer than most know… (And this may explain the greater-population size. Yum!)
That outlines one direction this can all go (and maybe has gone). What I was putting forward was a possibility for one that puts more centralized control in one small group of people’s hands. Probably it’s right not to concern ourselves with where. Especially since the higher techs allow for a more mobile control point. There are other lines of possibility and probability that do not require further looshing? or reduced looshing?
My point above was just to follow along a line Brendan O put forward about a tech takeover with backdoors and kill switches in all chips everywhere. Whoever controls that controls all. At least all that is tech submissive to these chips.
An example of the potential power is in the downed Ukrainian plane in Iran. It could be that Iran did not do that – that they believed that they did not do it. That the controls were take away from them and that their weapons did it. And that they were then confronted with evidence that showed their weapons doing it. Not so Deus Ex Machina?
ZDB, absolutely. The early version of this was Ma Bell ‘dial’ telephones which did not turn-off when the receiver was cradled. The microphones in the receivers were ‘live’ whenever someone wanted to actively listen-in. I now take it that chip-level & software-level ‘backdoors’ are in everything , and act accordingly. There is a lot of ‘power’ via controlled tech. And that’s leaving-out (possibly ancient) AI…
And yes, I had the same thought about the Ukrainian jet shootdown. If the Iranian missile-system manufacturer used any Western processors or had code ‘slipped-in’ by a mole, control of the missile-system could be lost at any ‘convenient’ time. For that matter, the 737 could have been “anti-hijacked” by its autopilot and flown into the ground as an additional back-up.
(I would fine-comb the passenger list for ‘motivation’ for the shootdown. It was not just ‘stupidity’ on the part of the missile-system crew. A 737 on takeoff looks nothing like an attacking warbird – even at night – to a radar. Nope, something else went on…)

Yes. It does not have to be Israel and can be. Either acting on their behalf, someone else’s or both. They apparently have the back doors and plenty expat Russians as well as next gen talpiots. However it was done iran looks checkmated and acknowledged it. Regime change will make a number of supposedly elected folk look good at opportune times.
What are the odds Iran gets a central bank clearing thru BIS within months? If they do then sanctions might lift a bit relieving some few iranian common folk.
