We have completely lost our minds as a "culture." A friend of mine once asked me "how much 'progress' is enough?" When does progressivism stop? Well, the answer is, never. Progressivism isn't really about progress, it's about unending process. This isn't to say it doesn't have goals, or an "end" in view. The goals and ends are clear: to empower itself, to tear down all tradition, all virtue, all beauty, all transcendent goodness, and any institution embodying or representing those things. In their place it champions ugliness of all kinds, ugliness in art, in music, literature, architecture, and most importantly, ugliness of the soul. You can see it in the vacant, sagging, baggy, drooping, rheumy hate-filled eyes of a Soros or a David Rockefailure.

Convicted of sex crimes as a man, felon no longer deemed threat because of gender change
The Iowa Attorney General’s Office is no longer seeking the commitment of a former Midwest Christian Services student convicted of myriad sex crimes because the individual now identifies as a woman.
Court records show the state dismissed the application on Jan. 9. Attorney general spokesman Lynn Hicks wouldn’t comment on the reason for the dismissal other than to say “an offender’s hormone levels are an important part of substantiating an offender’s likelihood of recidivism.”
In November, the Storm Lake Times reported that Joseph Matthew Smith, a 23-year-old convicted of molesting a fellow MCS student in 2014, was “undergoing medical treatment that is needed prior to (Smith) potentially undergoing gender reassignment surgery.”
Yes, you read that correctly: Iowa state officials might release a convicted rapist simply because of a sex change operation and hormones. They seem to have forgotten all those cases of teenaged boys being sexually seduced by their female teachers. They seem to have forgotten that the desire to do sexual harm is not a matter of hormones, or genitalia, but of a twisted and corrupted will. Iowa, being "progressive", however, has to time for such old fashioned notions as will, choice, passion, repentance. No, all of that is to be reduced to surgery and hormone injections, as if guilt can be cut away, or drugged away.
What's unsettling is that this story is not coming out of Nuttyfornia, or Wackychusetts, but out of the so-called "heartland" where things are supposed to be "less crazy."

Yes, the nation's military school is having "discussion sessions":
All classes were cancelled at the U.S. Military Academy Jan. 14 and work was set aside as the cadets, staff and faculty came together to talk about how to live honorably, build cohesive teams and combat issues related to sexual assault and harassment at the academy.
This marked the third Honorable Living Day hosted by the academy during the tenure of West Point Superintendent Lt. Gen. Darryl A. Williams.
Somehow, I'm not comforted. I want the military academies to be learning about... oh, I don't know... things like strategy, operations, logistics, tactics, combined arms, weapons systems and so on, not pronoun sensitivity. And how will a sensitive politically correct military fare against, say, the Russians, or Chinese? If the politically incorrect non-sensitive Wehrmacht experienced some difficulty, I'm guessing it probably won't go well. I doubt the Russian or Chinese military, if it ever came down to a conflict, will want to sit down and discuss their "toxic masculinity" or undergo hormone treatments and sex change operations.
(Heavy sigh.)

These kids are being shown the weapons they are now more likely to see drawn against them. They need to know how they can be used against them. And perhaps how to use them.
Pitiful! . . . Hormones have been along for the ride in each individual for some time. No revelation there. Hormone production handed down with the gene code over generations. Quite the subtle instigator. What is not consistent over the generations are environmental, biochemical exposures upon the individual, cultural and society changes. Also inconsistent are the shifting cultural and social influences that directly contribute to the neuro wiring upstairs in the cranial cavity through imposed ideologies and psychopathologies.
There need not be reason or rhyme but there are certainly goals of conquest and annexation demonstrated. Clearly, a great many need to get over the sovietization-set-up-to-fail that crept up behind them and has taken root in those affected psyches from that intelligence dictatorship most skilled in disinformation tactics. They wrote the book. They’ve wasted no time spreading throughout the dragon provinces, either, over the past decades. Their surrogates have also grown into the middle eastern deserts adopting surrogates. Many have heard the rumor that the cold war is over – Het (nyet) – It’s only cast under a different and clouded guise. Just take a look around – Infiltrated throughout the states, too, at first seemingly innocuous when useful idiots oblige. Helter-skelter followed with a vengeance.
Richard, in addition to what you noted on ‘neuro wiring’, Joseph Chilton Pearce wrote a later book Biology of Transcendence (2002) where he detailed how ‘neural pruning’ took place not only around birth but in the mid-teens. If I remember correctly (long ago), Pearce framed this ‘loss’ as a failed next stage unfoldment . When it became apparent that the in-place neurons would not be used, Mother Nature simply pruned them away as a waste of energy & space.
If you were a baddie, you would distract teens with all kinds of evolutionary ‘useless’ behavior/trivia and deny them any ‘upwards’ role-models to engage their next unfolding stage. Nature does its thing, and most people are ‘pruned’ for life. Sound familiar?
