NOW THEY WANT TO TWEAK YOUR DREAMS…

This article was spotted by D.W. who sent it along, and it's a stunner, because I've blogged a lot on this site, and even written a book (Microcosm and Medium) about mind manipulation and the techniques and technologies about mind control.

But this one is a stunner, not only because MIT is behind it  - think about Bill Hates' implantable vaccine technology that is supposedly in development with MIT - but also for what it portends:

MIT Scientists Are Building Devices to Hack Your Dreams

The concept here is simple enough: a "glove" that uses various prompts to "tweak" or "control" the subjects of one's dreams:

A team of researchers at MIT’s Dream Lab, which launched in 2017, are working on an open source wearable device that can track and interact with dreams in a number of ways — including, hopefully, giving you new control over the content of your dreams.

The team’s radical goal is to prove once and for all that dreams aren’t just meaningless gibberish — but can be “hacked, augmented, and swayed” to our benefit, according to OneZero.

Think “Inception,” in other words, but with a Nintendo Power Glove.

“People don’t know that a third of their life is a third where they could change or structure or better themselves,” Adam Horowitz, PhD student at MIT Media Lab’s Fluid Interfaces Group and a Dream Lab researcher, told OneZero.

“Whether you’re talking about memory augmentation or creativity augmentation or improving mood the next day or improving test performance, there’s all these things you can do at night that are practically important,” Horowitz added.

To be sure, as I pointed out in Microcosm and Medium, dream states, hypnotic states, and so on, were the subject of much experimentation around the world, and particularly in the former Soviet bloc, and there was much success in enhancing people's performance and creativity. But there's a downside to this, as is suggested by this statement:

But the Dream Lab might be on to something with its Dormio glove. For instance, in a 50-person experiment, the speaking glove was able to insert a tiger into people’s sleep by having the glove say a prerecorded message that simply said “tiger.”

And at the end of the article, there's this:

“The unconscious, it’s another kind of intelligence,” Rubin Naiman, sleep and dream expert at the University of Arizona, told OneZero. “We can learn from it. We can be in dialogue with it rather than dominate it, rather than ‘tap in’ and try to steer it in directions we want.”

For the purposes of today's high octane speculation, let's take that last statement first and then deal with the statement about inserting "tigers" into people's dreams by means of the simple prompt of saying the word "tiger". In the case of the second statement, we're being asked to be in "dialogue" with our unconscious mind. Well, for the record, the word "dialogue" is one of my hot buttons, because usually when people say that they want a "dialogue" these days, that usually means that they don't want a discussion, but rather, a pseudo-conversation designed to wear you down until you agree with them. That makes me doubly anxious about having "dialogues" with the unconscious. Anyone who's read a bit of Freud or Jung will immediately be made aware of how deep that pool is, and if I may so put it, "here lurk demons." Whatever one makes of their theories or for that matter of psychiatry or psychology in general, they did not formulate them in a vacuum, but over a long period of observation of their patients. It is a bizarre world. And that brings me to a point: in the spiritual tradition to which I attempt to adhere, there is constant caution about engaging in "dialogue" with such things for the simple reason that that part of the human mind is open to all sorts of influences, and hence, in that tradition, one prays for protection from them during sleep, the "time of least resistance" to their influences.

Which brings me to the "tiger" statement, because this I found most chilling, for it indicates an ability to insert a meme or topic by the mere mention of a word, into someone's dreams. If one may thus influence someone's creativity for the better, one might, equally, damp it or extinguish it altogether.

In other words, they now not only want the ability to manipulate your conscious thought, now they want your dreams as well.

See you on the flip side...

I don’t think ANY of us have any idea what is playing out before our very eyes at this point in history!!! I would say The War is going on at many different levels!

One man who trained himself to see all that is Cyrus A. Parsa….thank God he was able to get to the Prez. when he did!!! He had a hard time getting anyone to listen to him as most people cannot even relate to what he is talking about!!

Anak…..you are correct about Americans…..we were brainwashed enough to go thru’ two WW’s & now we are obediently staying at home & doing as we’re told!! I can speak to that as I have been “there” for 70 of my 75 years!!

Couple ideas feel to be growing.
First is Gates’ cv1984 monsters are growing more open, obvious and brazen. As if bragging about their mistakes and lies makes them true and genius? Openly bragging that CV1984 is listed as cause even in hospice patients as long as they died WITH the Cv?
Second is that RFK2 is growing more aggressive about Gates even as he seems more impotent about this all. It’s all too entertaining.

If memory serves well, I have only good memories of this book and my uses of it for the last 10 or so years.
    https://www.amazon.com/Exploring-World-Dreaming-Stephen-LaBerge/dp/034537410X/ref=sr_1_7?dchild=1&keywords=lucid+dreaming&qid=1587694488&sr=8-7

What I remember and still use: I consider an idea repeatedly as I fall asleep. A word or question. Keep paper and pen by the bed and try to write what comes to mind first thing on waking. It’s easy and needs to be. Need to walk away from anyone too alien or weird. It’s not a toy and not a trippy play think. Worthwhile to keep alone with one’s thoughts rather than bring other characters into play during sleep. Like Doc said, it’s a vulnerable time. That and it pays to keep simple. Favorite question: “What is a good question to sleep on tonight?”

Feels like the less lingual more visual side of the brain (right side?) does most of the dreaming. Gives an odd sense of symbols that I feel the meanings for and understand before I realize it or know how. Sometimes too easy to get caught in the literal nature. Vitamin B6 cranks up the process (meat, seaweed, capsules). Mg helps too. The downside risk of too much B6 is violent colorful involved long very memorable dreams. That and increased verbosity and it’s kind of an up. B6 is the main nutrient that stimulants and depressants alter the metabolism of.

Upside is that B6 is waterbased and cleared out through kidneys in less than 24 hours. So effects are limited and pass.

Ah Doc, now ya got me thinking of this again and I just had nori with dinner. Hm.

At the risk of wandering off of normal Gizar subjects onto woo-woo matters, I want to broach the idea that the injunction “Know Thyself” includes dreams, sub-personalities, and altered states of consciousness. There is a vast world out/in there. One can either ignore it at their peril, or become knowledgeable of it as far as possible (and take their lumps while doing so).

Amongst other degrees, I obtained a MA in Psychology from an old-style college which believed in actually helping people through their problems, rather than medicating them. Invaluable experience. We actually had a pretty-high dropout rate, because the subjects being taught brought-up everything a student might have suppressed. (There was counseling for this.) But once you became familiar with your personal subconscious (not to mention superconscious), the anxiety due to unfamiliarity went away and you could learn a lot.

In a subsequent practice, I learned an amazing amount simply by observing how the subconscious worked through my clients. It is intelligent. It is wise. It is powerful. It can be ‘unwound’ from any bad experiences that occurred while growing-up. And, it is a ‘bridge’ to higher states and happenings. It is well worth the effort to delve-in and ‘make friends’ with it…

(And if you understand that there are *ahem* unseen forces which have easy access to your unconscious – telepathy is a thing – it is in your personal interest to know what your subconscious normally feels-like. The injunction “Know Thyself” was not put-out-there as a nicety; it was a Warning. And this includes from technological probes…)

“Stupid American” is a term all Europeans understand, unanimously. Because, were Americans to be seen, as former Europeans, and held up to European standards, then “something” is missing.

There are two reasons, why this is rarely mentioned. (1) It would be seen as impolite. (2) It is almost impossible to define, and therefore it becomes something – in the corner of one’s eye – that one knows, but never says.

The issue is shape-shifting. One can be a cat, one can be a tree, and one can be a focal point of race memory. The last is a thunderbolted position, and that is heathen. A Briton understands this, but an American will not.

Satanic papal empire never defeated heathenry, so a slave army of brainwashed Europeans was created in the New World, to do the Satanic bidding:

      https://www.lpthe.jussieu.fr/~roehner/oci.pdf

Twigs are dreamt by tree. Tree can not be dreamt by twigs. A slave can not know himself, because a slave is not dreamt, by the morphogenetic field.

      • anakephalaiosis on April 23, 2020 at 7:01 pm

Americans will not listen, because Americans know better, with guns to prove it.

The twig decided to revolt against the tree, and it shot itself in the foot.

The twig was dreamt by the tree, but the twig had ideas of its own.

How can the twig know itself, while shooting itself in the foot?

Mankind just can’t keep his fingers out of nature’s cookie jar; even in his dreams!
Dreams in many cultures are sacred. There’s an inherent reason for that, common across time and distance.
If cannot manage virtual space; it will manage man.
Surrendering our lives to virtual worlds, means we are not adapting to it; but are being enslaved to it. If society surrenders, the costs will be unbearable.

    • Robert Barricklow on April 23, 2020 at 12:27 pm

Who would trust these dream masters?
      Those who deserve them?
Inserting a predator[tiger] into the dreams is a symbolic choice w/intent and meaning.

H.G. Wells comes to mind here, “Man is the unnatural child of nature, and more and more does he turn himself against the harsh & fitful hand that reared him.
      Two reasons for that quote.
One, Wells was on of them.
Two, that’s their perception of nature.

      Close, but no cigar.

When I was in college we had this scientist from Hewlett-Packard come to speak with us regarding the “transformative power of education and it’s importance in elevating human consciousness”. This was during the 1980s. He spoke as if education had within it a nous–a spirit that could reprogram the mind and consciousness toward good, humanist and cultural attitudes. During the Q&A I was recognized and asked a two pronged question: “What within education itself gives it this kind of power, and what would prevent an evil mind from drinking deeply from this fount to become an even more dangerous enemy? It seems to me that if you took an Hitler or Gaddaffi and educated them in this fashion, they would become even greater monsters than they already are. What would prevent them from exploiting our fears and becoming super-terrorists?” He sputtered and spewed–and never directly answered the question. And during the next three or four questions my question was directly attacked by other students more sympathetic to this cause.

Why mention this? The answer should be obvious. 40 years ago the mechanism was education as a means of mind control. Today, it’s electronic gadgetry. Dr. Farrell, thank you for this. This one once again demonstrates the problem we face. Those would be overlords are not only interesting in controlling our thoughts to exploit, but they now want our dreams. If they can shape our dreams they now one step closer to controlling our spirits. That’s the second bridge too far for me in matters of human thought. I want to socially distance my thoughts and my dreams from these monsters. At least Dracula is a monster I know how to kill.

The difference between Sigmund Freud, and the Bard is, that Freud crawls into the mind of the Americans, to show them demons, whereas the Bard shows Freud a mirror, and waits for the scream.

Dale Cooper saw himself in the mirror, and run away, from what he saw, and that caused a split personality. Then he found a fork in the road, and thunderbolted himself, into true knowledge.

All men have a monster under the bed, and a good helper in Santa Claus. When blurring the outline between those two, one can cause an epistemological collapse. The ego is blown away, by the paradox.

The biggest export, from the USA, is the allround “Nazi-label”. One can stick it on a can of beans, and then one has Nazi-beans. Criminals in Norway love the USA, for that particular reason.

Americans, in general, have never heard about the consequences in Europe, so we are here to tell, what is to be told.

From Bardic point of view, prayer is every word uttered, when spirit flows through.

Some Americans can flow words, but none are lightning rod, for thunderbolts.

That is how devils were driven out of milk-pails, in olden times, in Europe.

It is hilarious, that handlers want to control Freudian slips from ever occurring.

As a professional Bard, I live by the unexpected, that rises from the subconscious.

The psychedelic aspect of dreaming is my greatest muse. God moves out of deep waters.

Dreaming, with eyes open, is creating the world.

      • Katie B on April 23, 2020 at 10:19 am

The control of our dreams is probably the ultimate goal of all of this ‘tracking’ surveillance technology. It would be as powerful a tool as the Tablets of Destinies.

        • anakephalaiosis on April 23, 2020 at 4:21 pm

In Old Norse “mik dreymdi draum” literally means “a dream dreamt me”, meaning that man is dreamt by a dream. The Bardic tradition of guiding audiences, into dreaming with open eyes, is the same idea of being “dreamt by a dream”.

When the collective dreaming is destroyed, by imperial occupation, then the natural response is “bloodwrack” by Bard. Modern English does not have the Scandinavian concept of “bloodwrack”. Therefore Modern English is a slave language.

          https://www.lpthe.jussieu.fr/~roehner/oci.pdf

Sundial Rynstafas and Sumerian Tablet of Destinies have one thing in common: They both control the universe, and must therefore be a closed system – perhaps the same.

Geometry is navigation, and measuring the deep is a sun cross in Genesis, in Dream of the Rod, written on the Ruthwell Cross, with Ryne-Stafas, depicting the Grail Rune.

Wow what a bunch of idiots, these “scientists”. We don’t have even a grasp on consciousness, but we are going to control dreams? I do think it is possible to distort dreams, but manipulate them? Good luck, or not. They think all you need is a gadget to do what has been done naturally for ages. Grant it with much effort, the point being is that these fools don’t have a clue about dreams, yet they’re going to do what? I laughed at the tiger thing, how many out of 50? One or two? I’ve heard rock music playing in my dreams, while my ears were listening to soft gentle music. Yeah, they really don’t have a clue. Here’s a clue for them, play Doom for 18hrs, then go to sleep and have little devils chase them in their dreams. Idiots, and they are leading the way to our technological enslavement, HA!

Doctor Who’s companion in the seventies was tigress Leela, who was frequently referred to, as being pure “instinct and intuition”. So, when a parasitic mind virus tried, to infest the humans, Leela was rejected.

      https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/0/07/Leela_from_Doctor_Who.jpg

Apparently, a full-blooded warrior is in a permanent state, of holding back instincts, and releasing them, when intuition agrees. Mind has only an observing position. That is why Leela was rejected.

When doing the “Alamo-thing”, the wolf rises from the deep, and the dragon slays with precision. There is a cocktail of adrenaline and serotonin in the ecstatic. No prisoners are taken.

Ability, to switch on bloodthirstiness and cruelty, reduces nightly visitations, because an open door works both ways. All “entities” can be tracked down, by their fingerprints, and broken by strong will.

    • Billy Bob on April 23, 2020 at 11:53 am

Careful, assuming they don’t have a grasp of consciousness is simply that, after decades and decades of psychological, biological and mathematical experiments on the human race, I would assume they do.

  17. DanaThomas on April 23, 2020 at 6:32 am

In Tibetan and other traditional schools of spiritual development, dreaming is just a slightly different aspect of “waking” life, and thus cultivating awareness at night is just a continuation of cultivating awareness during the day. Come to think of it, how many of us are truly “awake” during the entire day, if we do a little self-examination? For an introduction to the topic see Tenzin Wangyal, “The Tibetan Yogas of Dream and Sleep”.

  18. Melodi on April 23, 2020 at 6:22 am

This is very concerning and I suspect they have gone a lot further than the word “Tiger” because that is too open ended – for example if a “glove” whispered “Tiger” to me, I’d probably dream of myself petting my kitty Baron Tiger Von Tripod, more quickly than Sheer Khan.

So if they are really trying to manipulate people (and this is scary as “heck” and I was thinking of a word that rhymes with well) they have to refine the message and I suspect they have.

I do wonder about 5G in this regard…..?

    • anakephalaiosis on April 23, 2020 at 10:57 am

Leela – the tigress – in the Doctor Who saga, from the seventies, has claws.

      https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/0/07/Leela_from_Doctor_Who.jpg

It is fear of retaliation, that seeks ever more control, into the subconscious.

Breaking the “seventh seal” is becoming an animal. Then the cat is out of the bag.

Nightmares are great game, when hunting demons and devils. One enters into battle mode, and makes a swift kill, anytime and anywhere.

When one is pure instinct and intuition, then the brain is just a parked squirrel wheel. One does not spend time on thinking, when acting from the gut.

Acting out one’s bloodthirstiness in wake state, is a one game only, whereas dream state gives freer rein, when slaughtering enemies.

Thus picking dragon lilies, in red valleys!
