Current discussions and negotiations seem to coincide with an anniversary date for the Philippines. Even a hint of symbolism in there somewhere. Philippine Navy, Vice Admiral Bacordo, seems to understand the significance of maintaining homeland national security from predatory investors of the Party with hidden agendas and ambitions until their respective capabilities are insurmountable. Just saying.

The powers that be in the Philippines and Japan are watching and calculating what is playing out in Hong Kong. It’s not just Wall Street and K Street that are frustrated and concerned this time.

29 years ago, this 14 – 16June, on Luzon, PI, Mount Pinatubo blew its stack sending heavy clouds of ash 19 miles away from it damaging buildings beyond repair, affecting lives with subsequent respiratory distress, and making clean up back to functioning military bases nearly impossible. Clark Air base, around 10 miles away, did not get much warning, if any, for those folks living or stationed there. Subic Bay was no better off.

Some memorable moments from former inbound evacuees from Clark Air Force Base. There were discussions back then, too, in June1991, about what to do about US assets in the Philippines. Those discussions became somewhat of a moot point during June1991 as efforts to expedite evacuation of survivors of Air Force members ramp up to recovery of personnel and materials to Air Force bases to CONUS (continental United States) and other Pacific rim bases from loss of life as the mission there was rendered useless and severely compromised.

Earthquakes were not anything new for islanders, but the last time Pinatubo erupted that badly was around 600 hundred years ago. Its gassy ash plumes, pyroclastic fallout in the form of microscopic glass shards that literally tore up the lung fields and airways, and the irreparable structural damage from the shear weight of the accumulative ash meant starting over.

That the Japanese know of earthquake damage, Tsunamis, and volcanic eruptions (Mount Fuji), through artful memories, renders their industriousness in building in the face of such potential calamity formidable. They more than know a few things of “How to,” to get the job done while all involved benefit. Besides, there’s a 30,000 some odd strong skilled labor force already on the island to get to work on ship maintenance and repairs as well as see to their home Navy ships. The others of the Party would likely serve only their own interests.

Although the Japanese in general remain somewhat secretive about their ambitions they are honorable and skilled warriors in their own right. Very industrious and not likely to make the same miscalculation toward imperial hegemony as so many decades ago.

Mount Pinatubo makes any development in massive proportions a risky proposition if measures for earthquakes, Tsunamis, and volcanism are not factored into the design with an emphasis on resilience. The Japanese have demonstrated as much over the decades. Likewise, as have many islanders in the region. There comes a time when the bully picks the wrong fight and loses more than it has wrongfully taken.

Actually, I am glad that the Philippines are finally getting some ‘help’ with their crown jewels – the ex-USAF Clark Field and the ex-USN Subic Bay. These are world-class sites which have almost been left to rot after the American withdrawal.

It is ironic that Japan being a good neighbor – rather than WWII’s “Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere” with accompanying bayonets – has paid-off with commercial agreements. In basically humiliating the Philippines by laughing at their minuscule navy and air force protecting disputed atolls, China has cut-off any commercial agreements with that country. And under Trump, America has become “non-agreement capable” to quote The Saker. Perhaps, Japan sees an opportunity to expand their presence…

(If Japan continues to be a ‘good neighbor’, they may wind-up selling warships and fighters to the Philippines. Enemy of my enemy and all that. Ironic…)

Yep. Saw that. What comes louder and clearer every minute is the hard sell of completely opposite points of view to all parties. The best way out of this mess I can imagine so far is when all parties view all of these hard sells from opposing points.

Example: I saw a video from Real News Network (as close to open Marxism as I can find) about Rayshard Brooks’ death. Then watched one from Brian at HighImpactFlix. He showed a sped up version with highlights of all 45 or so minutes of the videos available. RNN showed 2 or 3 clips 30 seconds long. They claimed Brooks was a nice guy, a little drunk, completely cooperative, no threat who even asked for an Uber.

Brian’s video showed the guy was drunk, passed out blocking Wendy’s driver through, thought he was not in Atlanta, thought he was at Burger King and denied having driven his car at all even though they had video of him doing it. Didn’t want to but blew .108 breathylizer, and as most resistant arrests will do flipped out only as the cuffs go on. He fought well and beat those cops, even took a tazer. Fired it back at them as he ran. And yeh when someone beats me and my partner up and takes a weapon, um yeh, all bets are off and it’s full on.

And then I hear Joe Rogan and Bret Weinstein tell basically the same story as RNN?

It’s easier and easier (or seems so) to discern the truth. At least for awhile. What’s harder is to see through the lies who is zooming who and how and why.

All that we can rely on is that the official narratives are pooched. Imagine Russians had these same feelings about Pravda. We know we’re getting lied to so what is the purpose behind these lies?

The Russians had a great sense of humor about their “news” that was continually revising their Official history[ies].
So many histories; so little, if any truths.

There is no “American” empire, only a papal empire by proxy. Founding of superstructures, in 1776, is resurrecting the Roman empire, with satanic pope as emperor.

Empire is all about slavery, promoting the freedom of loving your enslavement. Like Tacitus says, endorsing your slave necklace of civilization – for glass pearls.

Daniel, interpreting Nebuchadnezzar’s dream, is the megalithic astronomer talking, to a lunatic parasite having a nightmare, about being eaten, by his own greed.

Empire is not Christianity. Empire is Satan:

Since China is being played off against India aka The Raj as if the Norman Empire left Eastasia. Just wondering how many pounds of flesh Japan had to pay the Philipines for the contract.

As soon as you mentioned China I thought of their Emperor power lockdowns[whatever you do; don’t compare Xi to a steamed bun, or a Pillsbury Doughboy. Recently a man who did just that on a private chat app was sentenced to two years in prison].
To me these guaranteed second[3rd, 4th, 5th, until the population is w/in the Georgia Stone guideline?] covid1984 lockdowns; are timed/synced w/5G rollouts worldwide.

The China/India/Pakistan border conflicts; like in the States, are geared to color coordinated clashes w/paid provocateurs. Scripted ahead of time w/media presses ready to roll out the prearranged NWO narratives. W/our current NWO globalized medias; who needs manufactured enemies.
No doubt the historical enemies[China/Japan] are not being digitally deleted. Those living analogue memories are once again being manifested; not only in infrastructure & territories, but in directed weapons. India will join the China enemies growing list. Dangerous footing taking place in this global power dance of musical chairs

China: the globalist press is solemnly reporting, with the usual hyperbole and photos of masked-and-gloved Asian persons, the “explosion” of “new outbreaks” of the “bug”, with “100,000” health personnel mobilized. But for the benefit of people with a few grey cells still active, you can post reminders of social media that with respect to the Chinese capital’s population of 24 million, a couple hundred “new cases” are of no significance. While this MS media reporting in the West has little to do with China and everything with attempting to make people afraid of a “second wave” rolling in from China (or somewhere), it seems possible that the alleged “mobilizations” indicate that the regime is having to deal with some concrete enemy, probably not “invisible”.

    Very good News and Views!
I wonder if China still plans on building its own Large Hadron Collider. Or Ultra Large Hadron Collider?
