THE NEXT PHASE OF THE GMO DISCUSSION

Last week I blogged about I.G. Farbensanto's latest gimick to avoid legal entanglements when it (Bayer) bought out Mon(ster)santo, to become I.G. Farbensanto. I won't go into the latest gimick all over again. Rather, there's something else coming down the pike that M.W. spotted and shared(and again, thank you!), and it's such a whopper doozie I have to pass it along. That something is "gene drive organisms", and if that sounds to you a little "scary and creepy", it's because it's far worse than that:

Normally I'd comment a great deal on stories like this, and I do intend to comment a bit today, but I don't really think I need to do so extensively, because I'm sure that regular readers here will appreciate the rather horrifying implications of the following quotation from the article:

Synthetic gene drives are a new form of genetic engineering, created via the genetic engineering method CRISPR/CAS9, and are intended to permanently modify or eradicate populations, or even whole species, in the wild.

They are currently defined as a system where genetic elements or traits have more than the usual 50% chance of being inherited, irrespective of whether they benefit or harm the organism inheriting them.

The idea of gene drive technology is to force the inheritance of detrimental genetic traits. In this way, scientists hope to reprogramme or eradicate species such as disease-carrying insects and invasive species.

This is a key distinction between GDOs and genetically modified organisms (GMOs), which are explicitly designed to contain the spread of modified traits.

...

Most recently, Imperial College London created a modification that was able to eliminate populations of malaria-carrying mosquitoes in lab experiments. This work was funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation under the Target Malaria project.

...

This is something that Martin Häusling, agricultural policy spokesman for the Greens and member of the European Parliament’s Environment Committee, called a “fundamental step for biodiversity,” warning that the long term consequences of this technology is “not foreseeable”.

Mareike Imken, from the German initiative Save Our Seeds, concurred, saying that “while the risks of gene drive technology have not yet been scientifically assessed, it could have a massive impact on already damaged ecosystems,” adding that it is “irresponsible to expose species and ecosystems to further risks“. (Emphasis added)

So, boiling all this down, virus-spreading expert (both computer and the other kind) Baal Gates, through his Baal and Malicious Gates Foundation, is funding research into gene drive organisms (GDOs) in the hopes of reprogramming species or just eradicating them if they're nasty and we don't like them and they carry nasty diseases. (Notice the criterion here could be applied to just about any organism, including us, and let's not forget that Baal Gates is one of those overpopulation nuts that have been with us since the Most Serene Republic of Venice.) Well, I have to confess part of me is attracted to the idea of getting rid of certain things. High on my list would be spiders and snakes (and those big lizard things in Japan). But, much as I dislike spiders and snakes, I realize that they do some good, if they're not the human versions thereof. And as for Baal Gates, when I think of him (and I try not to do so), I think of the Peanuts cartoon character Pig Pen, surrounded always in a cloud of dust, dirt, and flies, or in this case, viruses.

And speaking of Baal Gates and gene driven organisms...

... what happens if, for example, those genetic drive traits jump species? I recall back when I entertained this outlandish speculation many years ago with respect to GMOs, I was roundly denounced by "scientific authorities" for being... well...outlandish. Perhaps I am, and like all outlandish people, I claim the right to be wrong, or just simply outlandish. It later turned out that a couple of obscure papers had noticed that some genetic traits from GMOs started showing up in other organisms. No apologies from the "scientific authorities" were ever forthcoming. My point at the time was rather simple: it wasn't as if certain things had never jumped from one species to another before. So I wonder the same thing here: what happens if one modified the genes of, say, a species of reptile such as serpentus baalus gatus, in order to eradicate the species, or reprogram it not to spit bile and poison everywhere it slithered, or better, to make its own bile and poison poisonous to itself. But if one allows the possibility of species jumping, this modification might jump to a particularly deadly species of spider, arachnidia sorosia, and serpentus baalus gatus would be depriving itself of one of its best friends, not to mention another vector by which to spread vitriol and bile.

Of course, the types of people involved in such research aren't the cleverest of people and will press ahead with their research, in spite of the possibility that they might be caught in their own plans and snares.

In which case, it might be worth letting them do it after all.

... nah... it isn't. They're just insane, and colossally stupid.

See you on the flip side...

What I like about this community and blog is the comments make me think, but my response rarely comes to mind within the comment window. This blog topic reminded me of the Margaret Atwood MaddAddam trilogy. In The Year of the Flood, a religious cult, the Isaiahists debate how to reach the Peaceable Kingdom.

“The lion-sheep splice was commissioned by the Lion Isaiahists in order to force the advent of the Peaceable Kingdom. They’d reasoned that the only way to fulfill the lion/lamb friendship prophecy without the first eating the second would be to meld the two of them together.”

The liobam proved to be a menace. However the concept of creating a world where the cruelty of predation is reduced can be seen as moral. “They will neither harm nor destroy on all my holy mountain, for the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the lord as the waters cover the sea.” Isaiah 11-9.

In order to achieve the Peaceable Kingdom you have to be in the Peaceable Kingdom.

Serpentus baalus maximus is out to kill the mosquitoes? I thought he’d be using them to deliver his gene-driving tech and vaccines. Oh wait… if he eradicates the real ones, he can patent robot mosquitoes–another new market! Like those robot bees we’ve heard about.

Do they screen scientists for psychopathy? If only! Plus, people often just do as they’re told, without a second thought, when the order comes from an authority figure–like, say, one of the psychopathic “experts” we’ve seen a lot in the media lately. Sometimes I feel like we’re in the middle of one big Milgram experiment. [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Milgram_experiment]

Every time they release those GMO mosquitoes a bunch new exotic diseases not native to the area seem to spring up. Are they making bubble cities a necessity by weaponizing all the insects against humanity. Lyme disease is off the charts and the tick that causes you to be allergic to meat is following lyme’s foot steps. Our governments have betrayed us and our Constitution. The Scientific Technocracy they foolishly gave power to that was suppose to better humanity better than politicians could are a mass extinction level event unto themselves. The scientific technocrats have proven to be the worst, most foolish, and dangerous group of all. Their coming to power is a mass extinction level event!

Been wondering a while why we have been as informed as we have on a long list of issues. For example why is it common knowledge that Monstersanto’s executive offices in UK stock organic foods only in their cafeteria? Even they don’t use gmo’s.

I saw the link at the bottom to a Rudy Guilliani video accusing Soros of carpet bagging. It just never occurred to me until seeing that link that we’ve seen decades if not centuries of carpet bagging going both (if not all) ways.

Sent the note and the link below to a friend in govt to see if I get any reply let alone a wise reply.

    Don’t bother watching the video.
Finally gives me an idea what was the whole deal with Kim Foxx and Juicy Smollett operation.
    And Laurie Lightfoot.
    And cv1984.

    It’s carpetbagging.
    Almost like cointelpro.
    It goes both ways.
Gates has done it with health care globally.
This keeps a long lists of strategies of tension issues smoldering since forever.

Somebody set up Smollett and Foxx to fail at starting a race war.
They did not know they were being set up to fail at all let alone so publicly.
Hence the stupid looks on their faces that last for years.
Did they think Soros was setting them up to start a race war when Kochs (or anybody else with enough money) were setting them up to fail at starting a race war?

What does it mean when someone as simple as me figures this out?

Do a search on “jumping genes” or transposons. For example:
    https://www.nature.com/scitable/topicpage/transposons-the-jumping-genes-518/
    https://www.nature.com/scitable/topicpage/transposons-or-jumping-genes-not-junk-dna-1211/

Thus, Nature already has a ‘means’ to spread genetic diversity. (It is kind of a ‘wild card’ approach, with more harm than good. But sometimes you get lucky…) Add-in gene-drive components, and they will eventually migrate-around within a species’ genes – and potentially between species, when you throw-in transfer through viruses. One can imagine “Life will find a way” proceeding from there…

And that’s not even including the ‘weaponization’ of this tool…

  18. Roger on July 15, 2020 at 2:56 pm

That’s been my thought lately too. That those who are playing with these technologies don’t understand it enough to know what harm they may be causing. And to keep their job and make this research profitable to them and share holders they have a lot of incentive not to look at the negative potentials too closely. I feel they may introduce something soon they don’t truely understand that will cause a massive global extinction level event that gets them too. Since many lack compassion(look what they do to research animals) this potential really doesn’t scare or worry them all that much. Some may even get a power ego trip in being the one to wipe out everyone because someone broke up with them once.

    • Roger on July 15, 2020 at 3:05 pm

If you are a psychopath that grew up loving to torture and do horrible experiments on animals as a kid then you would probably love getting a job getting paid to do it some day and become a scientist. Imagine if a good number of these personality types wind up running the Global Scientific Technocracy?

      • Joseph P. Farrell on July 16, 2020 at 1:38 am

Good insight… I never thought about the cruelty to animals angle and the personality types that go into these fields. Excellent point.

At this stage, I wouldn’t put anything past them.

      • zendogbreath on July 17, 2020 at 3:02 pm

The sociopathic training might be broader into our academic programs than most people realize.

Dentists for decades were routinely required to start their surgical experience on cadavers first and then on to live canines. The family member who went through dent school told me that the first year he had to do it. I doubt he told anyone else in the family.

He only told me since I picked him up one time out back of the labs at the loading dock as the local animal shelter’s kennel truck pulled up and the dogs were leashed and taken into the building. A little confusing to see local mutts dragged into the back door of one of the most prestigious universities on a weekly basis. So he explained.

We both have kept and loved dogs all our lives. He felt bad – to a degree. Didn’t stop his career. We both noted those dogs in the truck felt what was coming as the truck pulled up to the dock. The sounds and body language were distinct. And no, the med students did not learn their oral surgical skills with anesthesia. His teachers argued that the students needed to learn the significance of their procedures.

Apologies for the nastiness of this comment. The point is that these atrocities are almost certainly more pervasive in our lives than we are willing to see.

        • goshawks on July 17, 2020 at 5:20 pm

ZDB, thanks for the (yuck!) info. In my psychological/emotional readings, I learned about the ‘power’ gained from easing people into doing unsavory/painful things:

First, you start with the small stuff; the stuff that can be rationalized as necessary. That causes a bit of emotional pain. It sits inside. (There is a reason for the phrase, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”)

Then, you gradually ramp-up the unsavory/painful things, at a rate where the person does not say, “Screw it!” and leave. The emotional pain slowly builds.

Finally, you get to a point where the person will not examine whether what he/she is doing is right/ethical. To do so would plunge them into intense pain while they examine/relive their ‘choices’ in life. (Even if they were manipulated into their choices.) They may never get off their ‘path’. Or, it may take a “dark night of the soul” to force this confrontation with themselves. To return to the ‘light side’ after a certain point is hard. The bad guys know this state-of-affairs around a personal resolution/revolution, and count on the embedded pain in their followers…

(By the way, this indoctrination procedure has been known by the baddies from time immemorial. For example, it is used in the military, for professionals, inside elite families, and certainly to ‘rise’ in secret societies…)

          • zendogbreath on July 18, 2020 at 10:59 am

That just bumped me along to another insight. How else could one get the ADA and vast majority of dentists to go along with program of installing toxic fillings in all their patients for generations? Got my metal fillings placed in ’86. Got them replaced with “biocompatible” plastic / ceramic in ’96. The family member noted above placed them. Have had several dentists since then all at the end of their careers. My criterion is whether or not they are honest enough to recognize insanity of pretense that mercury is the world’s most toxic non-radioactive substance until it is installed in their patient’s teeth. The cost to their carreer makes that recognition scarce. Consider the same as md’s pass out years of zantac, vioxx, statins, polypropylene mesh repair on hernia and prolapse, antidepressants, and now neuralink.

    Both deadly.
    Both officials versions purposely masked,

Both alchemical sciences being magnified by alchemical medias. In other words, like many official realities; they’ve been processed by alchemical “magic” to affect mass perceptions.

OOPs! Just read something the international cartels said they weren’t going to do! Excuse me, while I write this down/NGOs call for a moratorium on ‘gene drive organisms’. So they’ve warned us what’s coming down heads on a pike hell road.

I get more the feeling that cv1984 is not so deadly as is how the crazy extreme misunderstanding and mistatements about it are deadly. Off-Guardian has mounting evidence that the health care system has been horrifically weaponized and actively genociding populations with a ghost. It’s all done with smoke and mirrors to a population too misinformed to know that virology and genetics are weapons against populations and not therapeutic in any way shape or form. Nor are they properly understood by populations in any way. These are all demonstrable by virtue of the obvious and repeated self-contradictory statements and edicts.
