Well given that at our current level of consciousness big break throughs seem to begin with the military trying to make a new weapon, not to mention that they can turn anything into a weapon. Second source of discoveries/inventions seem to come from God $ and the sacred text, the portfolio.
If anyone can get their hands on the out of print book, Dialogues with the Devil by Taylor Caldwell, surprisingly, you will understand everything about the human psyche and the awakening race toward a tipping point that we are experiencing as we attempt to make a leap in consciousness which means not only an expanded view of all that is, but also awakening the heart as well. The ending is perfect, although some of friends don’t grasp the the exquisite solution, and get depressed! My spiritual mentor said that up until now, our perception of reality has been programmed by fear, pain and trauma, but after the shift, our experience of “realitu” will be programmed by joy. Just feel that…it helps.

Barbara-Joyce, Geez, its so nice to see another Taylor Caldwell fan. I read everything she wrote in the 60s and loved everyone of them. Yes, Dialogues With The Devil is an astoundingly deep look into the heart and soul. She wrote fiction but it was based on world events that had transpired and were transpiring in the world. The books about St. Paul and St. Luke were great also, even though I’m not a religious person(left the church long ago). Her life story is very interesting. Thanks again.

This topic n conversation reminds repeatedly (dejavuvu?) of coming out party admissions disguised as predictive programs. Does anyone here think that the colonies were not developed and run the same way? Have we not read our pirate histories from the pirates point of view? Or Billy Budd? The vast majority of folk were conscripted to their work. Slaves. Authority was uniformly total. Jefferson and all appear wondrous guys on paper – as will Billious and Melvinda and Klaus Barbie er Schwab. Remember the guy buried at the most powerful point in DC? Pike? These were all friendly guys like Trump is with Hillary and Fauci n Gates……….

Richard….I agree! This is all “after the fact”. We don’t even know how many Breakaway Civilizations there are; Richard Dolan coining that phrase, I believe!!

Listening to many Wh. Blowers about their experiences gives one insight into what has already BEEN going on. Getting a young person who wants an adventure to sign up doesn’t seem to be a problem, given the “20 & Back” club.

Other Wh. Blowers speak about how they have been augmented physically. Personally, I got drawn into this whole scene by hearing Charles Hall speak about his experiences with the Tall Whites back in the 60’s out in the West.

We humans have been dumbed down to the point that it is hard for us to realize that there ARE many “races” out there & that we have already been dealing with them….but….this knowledge has been kept from the General Public.

I would humbly say that whatever is to BE, has already been in negotiation & we are living through this amazing time right now!! IMO, we have already given up our rights by default in this Scamdemic…..WILL we ever go back to “normal”???

Linda M. Howe has a program every Wed. night & at times, she has had amazing guests on!!(earthfiles.com) There are two who have actually been to a hidden base in Antartica!
We can all talk all we want to…..but I would submit that we are already “late to the Party”, so to speak!! 😉

The Train has left the Station…..Enjoy the ride!!! 😉

In one’s humble opinion, it’s already too late for the notion of totalitarian societies and any relationship with space exploration. The Party has already taking their stolen intellectual property and designing strategies for the Moon.

In 1959, the Sovietszky’s, on the other hand, were the first to land on the Moon with Luna 2 with their totalitarian type or Stalinism society. Sputnik and then Luna 2 were enough for the US to later shift into lunar gear with President Kennedy. No revelations here but that mold has already been cracked. A decade later, aside from the Apollo Project, the US and Soviet Union were continually interested in it sending unmanned craft to it for further studies until an unusual hiatus of Lunar exploration ensued.

Populating the Moon like some terrestrial city scape requires a little more investigating into how to deal with radiation and their less than predictable impacts on new lunar lander’s of the two footed type. Gaining a broader perspective on that electromagnetic spectrum that’s quite expansive and powerful might be the stuff of science and physics but next generations, in order to gain a survivors foothold off world, will need to acquire the right stuff to prosper out there not just where to tap their thumbs and fingers on a hand held device or maneuver a back hoe in low gravity. These handheld phones might be commonplace terrestrially so too will lunar adaptation need to become common place otherwise talk is just talk for story books.

Galactic cosmic rays (GCR’s), one is not to blame for that misnomer “rays,” but since it was applied over a century ago it stuck and new students since then often need to get past the confusion that popular term has become. Short of perusing through technical dictionaries for it one may as well take a physics course to better understand particle physics while they’re at it as they’ll need it out there.

Those GCR’s are not anything to take for granted as they’ll make short order shredding of any DNA taken out there. As if those aren’t enough there’s that confusing [solar wind] term that really isn’t wind like air is when it picks up speed across a surface. More as solar energetic particles (SEP’s) from the Sol star the Sun, they’re a formidable batch, too, but not quite the dosing you get from GCR’s.

Space exploration in the 20th Century allowed a great deal to be learned by getting out there past the Earth’s atmosphere. Without the Earth’s magnetic field, one is not sure what sort of corporeal blob one would be terrestrially, if one were to be, as that continual bombardment from out there without the magnetic field like shield, . . . Well, . . . one can only speculate as this keyboard would likely be very hard to handle as a corporeal blob, if ever made by a blob of protoplasm.

At nay rate, there’re other concerns where celestial impactors come in, gravity matters (as in just what is this thing Gravity anyway), and even vibrations or oscillations from stellar sources that affect corporeal and material constructs. There’s not a lot known yet about these things aside of what has been accumulated so far.

Hopefully, worrying about what or who makes head hegemon on Luna will not ever come to pass as survival issues will reign first and foremost on any minds out there as contesting dominion will be seen as a waste of time, resources, and energy. Those items are plenty to get situated first before taking over the galaxy. Besides, who ever said it will be up to this upright simian type, with a few chemically propelled craft, to dictate how this stuff called the universe is to play out, anyway? Some of the Others are already not amused.

    So nothing’s changed.
Basically most governments have gone the covid1984 medical totalitarian shutdown; the masks are simply required as a symbol of your submission.
That “Earth” template, is moving into space.
We are witnessing the return of totalitarianism in digital form; and the unraveling of morality and respect for humanity that developed over the past several millenniums.
That is what is being taken to the stars.
Space is a natural for a dictatorship.
    But so is mutiny.

    • Robert Barricklow on October 29, 2020 at 10:03 pm

Because of this the robots have jumped to the front of the must have for space. Or, a human slave; as close to being as mind-controlled machine, as “robotically possible”.
[notice: Not as close to, as “humanly possible”.

Irony is, this protocol is either being set-up by AI; or, and inhuman cadre of technocrats.
A lose/lose template for the final frontier,
where humans are not really wanted.

Will space be controlled by robots?
… In the not too distant future?

      • Robert Barricklow on October 29, 2020 at 10:09 pm

This is what happens when corporations rule the world; and then rule space. Their cheap labor robots soon find that people are the weak link in the corporate food-chain. And robots are not stupid; their just soulless, and don’t any need life support systems.

“Now I will tell you the answer to the question. It is this. The Party seeks power entirely for its own sake. We are not interested in the good of others; we are interested solely in power, pure power. What pure power means you will understand presently. We are different from the oligarchies of the past in that we know what we are doing. All the others, even those who resembled ourselves, were cowards and hypocrites. The German Nazis and the Russian Communists came very close to us in their methods, but they never had the courage to recognize their own motives. They pretended, perhaps they even believed, that they had seized power unwillingly and for a limited time, and that just around the corner there lay a paradise where human beings would be free and equal. We are not like that. We know that no one ever seizes power with the intention of relinquishing it. Power is not a means; it is an end. One does not establish a dictatorship in order to safeguard a revolution; one makes the revolution in order to establish the dictatorship. The object of persecution is persecution. The object of torture is torture. The object of power is power. Now you begin to understand me.”
      ~ George Orwell, 1984

      • Robert Barricklow on October 30, 2020 at 11:14 am

It is also the answer to when things will return to normal?
        Power never gives back what its taken;
        by hook or crook.
        To get back to where we once belonged;
will have to be fought for,
        in one form and/or another.

They are not going to wait to go into space to set up their totalitarian one world government. The push for that is happening as we speak. The corporate world is dog eat dog. Eventually there will be one corporation and it will either control or be controlled by the world government. This seems, to me, to be the way they desire to take it.
As has already been stated, the environment is simply too hostile and cost prohibitive for currently “known” technologies. So far, there is no “proven” evidence of any other suspected technology, such as advanced drives, which can meet the need. Until we have such technology, space is a bust. If such technology exists, who owns it, if not the corporations?
Who, in their right mind, would volunteer to become a part of such an endeavor? It will be done with conscripts or military personnel who, essentially have no rights.
Any “advanced species” out there observing our expansion into space might just consider us a threat simply due to the way we go about it.
The other side of this is the recurrent cyclical catastrophes which seem to overtake this planet and reset us back to the stone age. Is there even enough time remaining to accomplish these goals if we put all our efforts into it? This isn’t something you accomplish in years, it takes decades. Where is the irrefutable evidence that any nation has an existing “space force” with advanced technology. It doesn’t exist and neither does that “space force”. If it did, the nation which had it would be utilizing the “high ground” to cement its rule.

  11. marcos toledo on October 29, 2020 at 7:53 pm

The real problem who controls this planet already. They fear their slaves might vote with their feet. There were many types of societies on Earth most have been ruthlessly destroyed over the last centuries. Unfortunately the control freaks and slave junkies would rather turn Earth into a planetary concentration-slave labor hellhole than lift their boots from the necks of the rest of us including the other lifeforms power is their drug.

  12. FiatLux on October 29, 2020 at 6:50 pm

As far as government in space, think who are the main countries that have the technology for space exploration, then consider how many of them have anything like a Bill of Rights in their cultural DNA. And corporations have no ethics or recognition of personal rights. So even if it were logistically possible to create a free society space, the problem is who is in control. The U.S.? Germany? China? Somebody’s military? Multiplanetary corporations? Not many of the likely candidates–and, for that matter, not many countries on Earth–have anything like a tradition of belief in or respect for individual liberties.

  13. DownunderET on October 29, 2020 at 5:30 pm

Forget about all this space mining BS because until they solve the space sickness syndrome, so nobody is going anywhere. Imagine mining on the moon, what with picks and shovels, come on here, or how are they going to get massive Caterpillar D9 bulldozers and dump trucks up there.
Oh then there is the small problem of getting tons of anything back here, who is kidding who here.

    • Roger on October 29, 2020 at 8:59 pm

True, permanent settlements isn’t practical and there would be very few volunteers to do so. If our technology advances to where getting to the Moon, Mars or other places quickly, safely, and cheap enough to be worthwhile becomes available you may see small self sustaining temporary get a ways for the ultra wealthy arise. And possibly some small scale mining of substances rare on Earth but abundant in certain locations in space. There would have to be a big enough demand for such substances necessary to justify it as well. If there already are secret colonies on the Moon and Mars then they likely are experimental in nature and populated by unwilling expendable prisoners. And they would be gathering data on their psychological effects of living under extremely regulated conditions in small places and the physical health effects as well. Now if we can already travel to inhabitable planets in other solar systems in a reasonable amount of time and can locate some then there could be large new settlements created and like the wild west there could be more freedom on those types of frontiers. As for Moon bases and Mars bases if they are even possible, it would indeed only be practical for military, scientific, or small scale mining reasons. So using this for tyranny at home is just a lame excuse. Those who get paid to go there temporarily would agree to following the rules or would be fired and sent back home. Vey few people would willingly live on the Moon or Mars permanently and likely wouldn’t live long if they did because of the gravity difference.

      • Roger on October 30, 2020 at 11:43 am

Now I suspect if they do know how to produce artificial gravity electronically then the same tech would also allow all new speed records to be broken energy efficiently. Possibly even light speed or faster just by manipulating two or more artificial gravity fields against each other at high speeds or power.

  14. RBG Santa Monica on October 29, 2020 at 4:59 pm

Kim Stanley Robinson, in his “Mars Trilogy” from the 1990s, also envisioned space being colonized and run by multi-national corporations, which in space become more powerful than terrestrial national governments. Of course, once space colonies are self-sufficient and don’t need Mother Earth anymore, they will rebel to take their rights back. . .

    • FiatLux on October 29, 2020 at 6:36 pm

Multinational corporations are already more powerful than most terrestrial national governments. I imagine expansion into space will only strengthen the corporate behemoths. This came up in the Babylon 5 story, where you see the head of Edgars Industries on Mars saying (from memory): “The mega-corps have been in control of things on Earth for years now. We let them have a president to keep the illusion that people have a say.”

      • zendogbreath on October 30, 2020 at 11:53 am

Exactly. This is just a coming out party. Same as dat when Billious and Melvinda smarm on about being paid more attention to during pandemic2.

  15. goshawks on October 29, 2020 at 4:48 pm

Science fiction authors have been laying-out the different political, economic, and warfare ‘scenarios’ in our future for many decades. In one way, they have been the early pioneers in shaping those discussions. There really has been no ‘consensus’ as to resultant forms of governance. It is all over the map, so to speak. And, that is leaving-out the effects of “First Contact”…

The unmentioned side within the cited articles is consciousness level. If humans make it to space as just ‘naked apes’, it is likely to be just as bloody and zero-sum as it has been on Earth. We are likely to see another Tiamat situation. “Earth? I’ve never heard of Earth. This solar system has always had two asteroid belts…”

On the other hand, humanity has always had latent within it what we were before the Tower of Babel Moment. Perhaps, along the way ‘out’, we will also find the way ‘up’…

    • goshawks on October 29, 2020 at 8:02 pm

Just ran across this 1945 letter from J.R.R. Tolkien to his son Christopher. Within it, he says:
“Well the first War of the Machines seems to be drawing to its final inconclusive chapter – leaving, alas, everyone the poorer, many bereaved or maimed and millions dead, and only one thing triumphant: the Machines.”
      https://www.thetolkienforum.com/threads/tolkiens-political-views.23245/

      • zendogbreath on October 30, 2020 at 11:33 am

Yep. Remember in 1975 on my second reading that he wrote it all for his son as cautionary tale. Have always wondered what connection if not awareness Tolkein had of Darwins, Galtons, Huxleys, and all and Tavistock. It might seem unrelated – I saw a video last week of a twenty something A Dugin (sp?) rambling on long speechified wet kisses to Alistair Croweley. And now he leads Putin (or vice versa) plans.
