TIDBIT: FROZEN TEXAS TURBINES

Apropos of today's main blog, there's now a conflict emerging in the frozen Texas turbines story:

Frozen wind turbines, limited gas supplies and rolling blackouts: Behind Texas' energy woes

Texas’ power grid crumples under the cold

Note this paragraph from the second article and its implications:

While some early reports indicated that frozen wind turbines were causing significant shortfalls, 30GW is roughly equal to the entire state's wind capacity if every turbine is producing all the power it's rated for. Since wind in Texas generally tends to produce less during winter, there's no way that the grid operators would have planned for getting 30GW from wind generation; in fact, a chart at ERCOT indicates that wind is producing significantly more than forecast.

So while having Texas' full wind-generating capacity online would help, the problems with meeting demand appear to lie elsewhere. An ERCOT director told Bloomberg that problems were widespread across generating sources, including coal, natural gas, and even nuclear plants. In the past, severe cold has caused US supplies of natural gas to be constrained, as use in residential heating competes with its use in generating electricity. But that doesn't explain the shortfalls in coal and nuclear, and the ERCOT executive wasn't willing to speculate.

There was an article on Gateway Pundit today alleging that one of ‘president’ Biden’s first executive orders – the one cancelling work on the Keystone Pipeline – contained an obscure clause that removed for 90 days the measures that Trump had put in place to prevent malicious cyber attacks on the US power grid. As I write this, Texas is experiencing a prolonged interruption of electrical service statewide. Houston is particularly hard hit. There are many contradictory explanations swirling around on tv and social media. I dunno, maybe someone out there in the Giza community can shed some light on the matter.

    $ecret$,
    That and following orders.
In the “old’ normal, the media might have been believed w/a grain of salt. But in “their” new normal: all is suspect.
    Sources.
That’s now the new normal; as many & varied as possible.
Separated the wheat from the chaff.
But, w/the government & inst1tutions against the will of the people; nothing is beyond “them” purposely setting fires to communities, or freezing the hell out of them.
Especially; when the right hand, doesn’t know what the left hand is doing – by design! Information is being stove piped.
    Secrets.
    Following orders.
Purposely mis and dis informing the public.
And the sciences and other information is being purposely corrupted; so even those that think their telling us the facts; are in fact lying.
