THE SAD AND MYSTERIOUS DEATH OF UFOLOGIST MARK MCCANDLISH
We lead off this week's blogs with a story I did not want to write, much less even hear about. And the story is already a few weeks old, but only now does there appear to be enough information to justify a blog about it. A few days ago, my friend and colleague Walter Bosley asked me if it was true that Mark McCandlish had died. I responded that I didn't know, but a short search revealed that he had, but the details were sketchier then than they are now.
This hit uncomfortably close to home, because having known about Mark and his UFO work, particularly in regards to the vehicle he made famous, the so-called alien recovery vehicle (or sometimes, alien reconstruction vehicle, ARV), I first met him when he was a fellow-speaker at the 2014 San Mateo Secret Space Program Conference. His presentation was on that very subject, and the details he disclosed were of great interest to me, because many of them dovetailed with my own speculations about hidden physics and technology.
One can imagine that when I heard of Mr. McCandlish's death a little over a month ago, I was saddened... and immediately suspicious. One of the things that he talked about during his talks at the conference was how complicated, and difficult, his life had become since entering the UFO field with his detailed drawings.
Also present at the conference was Robert Morningstar, who was also a speaker, and who has now gathered and presented the following information(and you can see one of Mr. McCandlish's drawings of the ARV and the high quality of his work in this presentation):
What's notable in the articles and interviews presented by Mr. Morningstar is that Mr. McCandlish thought that many of the recent popular UFO flaps were really about hidden technology that "we" humans possessed. Also of interest to this site's readers is Mr. McCandlish's belief that non-terrestrial intelligent life has been visiting this planet for a very long time - "perhaps millennia" - and more interestingly, some of it "isn't friendly," a view that accords in some respects with my own regarding the assumed "friendliness" of the alleged visitors. As for the human bases for this alleged hidden technology, McCandlish also believed that there was a vast underground infrastructure supporting its development and maintenance; again, a view that accords in its broad outlines with my own speculations and books on the vast underground networks of secret Nazi research during World War Two, and the extent of similar known underground facilities that I briefly reviewed in some of my books, most notably Saucers, Swastikas and Psyops and Covert Wars and Breakaway Civilizations.
As one continues reading the article, one comes to Robert Morningstar's editorial comments, where we're informed of the following:
Mark McCandlish died on April 13th, 2021 in his home on Redding, CA of a shotgun blast to the head.
Shasta County Coroner’s official report cites his death as a “Suicide” from self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Mark McCandlish spoke to his friend, Rick Price, late that day (April 13th) and Mark told him that he was going to rest and would call him later. Mark also spoke to his girlfriend later and told her that he would speak to her when he went to work at her animal shelter. When Mark did not show up for work and he failed to call her, Mark’s girlfriend, who had a key to his home, went there to look for him, and found his body, dead from a gunshot wound to his head.
A colleague of Mark McCandlish, a member of a UFO/SSP Disclosure group with which Mark McCandlish was associated, wrote on May 10th, 2021:
“Regarding Mark McClandlish suicide with shotgun blast to his head. He was going to testify for Senate UFO/UAP meeting in June. His testimony would have destroyed the “we haven’t made much progress” narrative. Also the one who showed the Tic Tac was actually USAF SSP drone … That would also destroy that narrative, came out and reversed and said he made it up. Mark probably didn’t go along. It’s an agenda. It’s complicated for sure.”

Robert D. Morningstar, Editor/Publisher of The UFO Spotlight, a friend and colleague of Mark McCandlish since the June 2014 Secret Space program – Breakaway Civiliation Conference that was held in San Francisco, and Rick Price, a close friend (for more than 20 years) who was one of the last people to speak to Mark McCandlish find that conclusion dubious, doubt the “official story,” and reject that conclusion.
Finally, it has been reported by one official that “several Federal agencies are investigating the death of Mark McCandlish.’ If Mark’s death was, in fact, just a “suicide,” the editor asks:
Why should further investigations by multiple agencies of the US government be necessary?
I reject the ‘official story.”
Now, to be sure, I did not know Mr. McCandlish well. Our contact at the 2014 Secret Space Program conference was limited, and we had only passing and occasional contact since then. But what little I knew of him persuades me that he just was not the type to commit suicide, much less by a gunshot to the head.
What is of interest in Mr. Morningstar's editorial comments, however, is the statement that Mr. McCandlish was allegedly scheduled to testify to a US Senate "meeting" on UFOS and UAPs (the new term for UFOs, "Unidentified Aerial Phenomena") next month. I'm reminded of another such "convenient" death, that of George De Mohrenschild, who also allegedly committed suicide by shotgun mere days before his scheduled appearance to the 1970s committee on assassinations, to testify about what he knew of the JFK assassination (which, if one digs long enough, may also have had a "UFO connection").
That does not prove anything regarding McCandlish's sad demise, but Morningstar does raise the relevant question: if there is nothing suspicious about McCandlish's death, "Why should further investigations by multiple agencies of the US government be necessary?" Perhaps such investigations are routine in such cases, but when one reads of the last hours of Mr. McCandlish, one thing that clearly emerges is that they do not sound like a man in a suicidal frame of mind.
I, too, "reject the 'official story.'"
Why would anyone want to murder Mr. McCandlish? I do not know. But the details in the articles posted by Morningstar do point in a couple of directions: (1) that underground "breakaway civilization" itself, anxious to keep its secrets, and (2) another peculiar detail that is revealed in the article, namely, McCandlish's belief that he had been in contact with someone claiming to be "an extra-terrestrial among us" in a human "biosuit", in disguise as it were and reminiscent of the old science fiction television series "V" and its more recent remake, and (3) McCandlish's statements that "telekinetic murder" (for want of a better expression) was not only possible but that had been carried out on North Korea's previous leader. What is odd to contemplate here is that the first of these alternatives is the one where there are the most publicly-known details. It's the last two that are of greater interest, and had McCandlish come into possession of details that tended to corroborate either, then there would be powerful motivation by the parties involved to keep those details secret; indeed, I've speculated many times about the second possibility, and the claims about the third have been echoed by other people.
So the bottom line for me is, one again, I too "reject the 'official story.'"

Is it still your suspicion that the official story of Mark’s suicide is dubious? Walter Bosley posted in a comment on FB that “JPF did a 180 the very next day after he learned the facts.” Perhaps this was in private conversation between you both, but I have not seen reference to this from yourself.

It is an article that provides Dr. Steven Greer’s video posted to inform people of a UFO Hoax planned possibly this year or 2022 by a surreptitious organization. More importantly, the article recommends the surreptitious organization provide Disclosure of UHO technologies by offering amnesty for the murders committed over the past 7 decades. Factual data of many deaths is also presented. Should the public be informed or continued to be whitewashed and misinformed?

I first interacted with Mark in 2017, when I purchased a copy of his ARV blueprint. I was so pleased to receive it, that my wife took a picture of me framing it. You’d have thought I’d won Lotto. I got to know Mark via email chats and we shared interests in cats, car repairs, weather modification and of course his well known areas of expertise. We’d arranged to do a Skype interview in November 2020, but because he was in such demand, combined with his work at the animal shelter, we never quite got there. By way of prep for our interview, he’d referred me to his interviews on Free Energy technology. The deep state really don’t want humanity to have access to clean free energy, unless they have absolute control of it. I just rewatched the doco – “Zero Point The Story of Mark McCandlish and the Fluxliner”. Mark’s comments in that video plus the suspicious death of his collaborator James Allen, made it clear that he was aware of the danger he faced. Best wishes to Mark’s partner and family
The ICC (Interplanetary Corp. Conglomerate) murdered Mark McClandish in such a brutal public manner to warn all their physicists, etc., NOT to defect to the Earth Alliance. They (the ICC) would not have done this unless; (1) there were a number of recent defections; and (2) those defections will continue to increase in number. In other words, they (the ICC) are afraid, very afraid. And; they should be because we (the Alliance) are coming after them; all of them. I can’t wait until their trials begin. I had a conversation with Mark McCandlish about one year ago. He was a fine gentleman and no, it was not a suicide. I am deeply saddened by this tragedy.
It is a very sad thought either to view this as a suicide or to view this as a case of an important researcher “suicided”. For some reason the energy around this case reminds me of the death of Mac Tonnies, a death that I am convinced was an engineered murder. It would appear that whenever a researcher or scientist starts stating “inconvenient” facts (rather than cloaking them under a veil of science fiction or fantasy) they “die tragically” (read: “they were murdered by a government or an unknown transnational third party”).
May light perpetual shine upon Mark.
So sad to hear this. I just found the videos from the 2014 conference just yesterday. Joseph’s two vids were the 1st I watched, then the round table discussion, and the last, late last night, was Mr. McCandlish’s video. He appeared to be such an informed, good and likable guy. Very sad, and definitely another suspicious “suicide”.

As far as the suspiciousness of McCandlish’s death, I have the following questions:
1. Where exactly was the gunshot wound? From behind or side, yeah kinda sus.
2. No suicide note?
3. Did he have any medical conditions, i.e. cancer that might’ve been a factor in wanting to end it?
4. What was the state of the house when found. Any papers/items missing?
5. Where/how were his notes and data stored? Who’s got his computers/papers now?
Seems like if you have *any* data that could be hazardous to your health, you’d better have some dead hand mechanisms to release or forward sensitive data. Even better if your enemies know that.
Why the sudden change for the military? Cui bono. Or if you want to believe the Wernher Von Braun/Dr. Carol Rosin story. More defense $$$ and more control of the people.
As for Morningstar, I recall JPF remarking that he was sus as well. If he was, then I’d still be leery of him and anything he has to say.

McCandlish knew a lot, and could have revealed that which authorities wanted kept hidden. So the disclosure process will have to run through several cycles. ….McCandlish speaking this coming June, may have disrupted the several cycles ‘they’ had planned for, – giving themselves more time to play the public. Why commit suicide, when what McCandlish had to say could have been his crowning glory. It doesn’t make sense.

Sometimes I suspect much of the highly organized UFO scene is more about running experiments on mind control and mass manipulation techniques. Some memes seem to get pushed hard and using different techniques to test their effectiveness. I can even see them suiciding someone specifically to get everyone talking and looking at their work instead of somewhere else. I can see them using people in this field for exotic mind manipulation weapons testing as well. I can see experiments on the best way to get someone to do something like this that normally would never do such a thing no matter what. I suspect I may have been targeted a few times not neccessarily because I was a threat or for what I knew but merely because I may have been chosen as the ideal test subject. People think conspiracy theorists are crazy and make stuff up so if a test fails and such a person tells others about it they are less likely to take the story as serious. People heavily into the UFO field likewise make great test subjects for the same reasons.
His death could have been a warning to someone else as well. Maybe someone else was about to spill the beans on somethin, someone still useful or too connected to take out lightly, so they used him to scare them back to silence. He deffinately seemed connected to all the right people to know or hear something big, so who knows. It is likely about that upcoming hearing and they seem determined to keep something or someone quite when it occurs. Might be about someone else however and he was just used to make a point.

Know what you mean. Sure hope you’re inaccurate about that prediction of more unusual losses before June. One thing that will prevail beyond the notion that “dead men” tell no lies is that Mark McCandlish’s truths will carry on as he intended.
The problem is the shotgun wound to the front or back of the head. If this was a suicide a handgun would have a better choice this has all the look and smell of a mob hit written all over it. I know of a UFO book from the fifties titled They Knew Too Much that dealt with the silencing of UFO witnesses and researchers I never read it I doubt it still in print like the 1970s Our Spaceship the Moon has been suppressed.
One remains cautious about any explanations, especially, any presumptive suicide explanations with two fatal shots to the head. That day “skeptical” received an uppercase “S” to Skeptical for all time.

Almost seems as if that ‘official story’ has a close association to Orwellian new-speak, . . . If it were not for your ending paragraph of points of semblances in fiction less so than one would hope. Bickering between factions seems to have become stone throwing in a distance.
Not one to add a flashpoint to any “high octane speculations” past, present, and possible future elaborations but there is a danger with this stuff just as there is with biologics and chemicals. Especially, with the expertise of each area and their inherent vulnerabilities. Becoming leery of “bus-routes,” so as not to misstep off the curbs, is a pass-time of some reluctance.
Intellectual properties have been stolen and even more individuals have found their investments highlighted (a diplomatic approach of interest where it probably ought not be). It’s unfortunate that free-talk has become a twisting of significant Orwellian new-speak. The imaginations about how and what to patent for profit, . . . well, . . . the sky’s the limit it seems for what should be kept close to the vest. Connections seem to have widened their loops.
In any case, firsthand forensic data is not likely to become free-talk any time soon and if it should it is likely those and other future circumstances that could be even more suspect as they become story bound or more frequent might change their optics but not on their own. Such exposure seems to have unusual consequences. One has to take into consideration any and ALL experimentations over the last seven decades from early Cold War dramatics of mind and psychiatrics to attempts at current hardware constructions of presumptive private enterprises. [Ideas, after all, are often priceless and targets of scoundrels, too.] There are some indications that they’re not beyond erasing what they consider threats.
Some of those folks have a choice, Constitutionalism or extra-constitutional friction. One need no extravagant imaginings of some of the currently documented frictions of distraction playing out. It’s their root causes and participants “one would never have thought possible.” Almost the stuff of mystery novels with a smattering of the macabre. Intuitive’s would likely have a difficult time sorting through what some prefer not be tampered with. One difficulty is how easy freedom of talk can tip off the criminally bent on anonymous networks, sites, and forums of discussions these days. Snoop-ware and software seem to have been fruitful and expanded for the right price for nefarious ways.
One’s guess, age was not a factor even if it might be a presumption. From jumped, pushed, and fell, now with a fatal weapons discharge, dropped, mishandled, and triggered.
I’m extremely dubious about anyone in the UFO field that succumbs to SVD (Sudden Violent Death) syndrome. Which has appeared in several other arenas, to include JFK/RFK/MLK, 911 Truth, TBTJ/TBTF, etc. My condolences to his friends and family. I urge everyone to review all of Marks material, ASAP.

Having begun reading Saucers, Swastikas, and Psy-Ops this very morning, today has suddenly turned quite eerie … and its only an hour past noon. Richard Dolan mentioned McCandlish ‘s tragic death about two weeks ago; while I don’t recall Dolan’s exact words, he implied it was a “suspicious” death. Though I’ve been fascinated with the “breakaway civilization” idea from the moment I encountered it, I’ve always taken it with a grain of salt. Henceforth, I’m on a low-sodium diet and looking at the world through blood-tinged glasses.
Can’t help but think of the popularized “Ancient Aliens” series.

It is sad, but proves how very much like Hitler, Stalin, and Mao at least some of these “people” are. They are criminals of the lowest sort, and despite their thinking that they are somehow “entitled” to this kind of behavior, they are just pond scum. The psychic backlash from the kind of behavior we are seeing right now will be severe, possibly civilization ending severe.
That is something that tyrants and despots never seem to learn. Abuse of power always brings down those who think they are immune to the laws of Nature, or somehow control them.
On the other hand, some have said that civilizations are every bit as prone to cycles as any other part of Nature. Decay and death are natural, and to be expected.
We should rejoice in the time we had with him and the contribution that Mark made to our community. We should endeavor to remember him and the great work he did. His intellect and ability to frame the topic with clarity and insight were of a high order. We should seek to emulate his remarkable talents and focus on what is truly important.
We should channel our sadness and anger into renewed efforts to seek the truth and shine light in to the darkness. Let this crime fire our passion for the truth and focus psychic energy toward the downfall of these evil servants of darkness. This battle will be won on metaphysical/energetic battlegrounds, not in the material world.

In December 2020, President Trump signed a coronavirus relief bill that set into motion an 180-day time frame in which US intelligence agencies must tell Congress everything they know about UFO sightings, via an unclassified report. This must be done in June.

Regarding China sending a mission to Mars and successfully landing on Mars at the weekend, it is very revealing that a US politician – Maine Senator Angus King complained that Zhurong’s “landing reinforces the point that we don’t own space any more.” Since when has the USA owned Space and the Cosmos? What a loss! I purchased, and continue to listen, to the 2014 Mateo conference lectures with great interest, and Mark McCandlish’s work was ground-breaking in many respects. The suicide “myth” is one played too often–and the involvement of agencies “investigating” this seem to point to an inside program to “secure” the myth against all counter arguments. Because of his past involvement with the U.S. military and his artistic capabilities I am certain his recent remarks were troublesome to many in the military industrial complex. Mr. McCandlish was too intelligent for their purposes–and was beginning to think through the implications of the technology he was asked to review and put to paper. I remember his work well over the years–as my dad was an avid fan of Popular Science magazine. His artwork was always intriguing. In the world of U(fool)ogy (thank you Dr. Farrell for the idea) one finds very few honest, intelligent, cogent and cautious commentators on the subject. His was a sane voice–and that made his voice dangerous indeed.

But this confirms his research. I, too, have come to believe that most of the UFO sightings are our own advanced technologies which are being hidden from the public.
