VATICAN CONSIDERS SAINTHOOD FOR A “FATHER OF THE EU”

There is strange news out of the Vatican. These days, that's not really news, because we've seen a lot of strange stuff coming out of the Vatican since Vatican II, and since the pontificate of Jose Cardinal Bergoglio, a.k.a., Pope Francis I, even more so.

But this latest strangeness shared by S.D. is truly both downright strange in one way, and in another, more of the same in the galloping secularization of the Roman Church, and notably, it's Russia RT that's sharing the story:

Vatican launches approval that might lead to EU ‘founder’ Schuman becoming a saint

A picture of a balcony of the papal palace in Vatican City starts the article, and I submit that in this case, a picture is indeed worth a thousand words, for clearly emblazoned on the balcony are the papal arms with the well-known no-longer-used papal tiara. The symbolism is immense, for the tiara represents the papal claims themselves. And flown above that tiara is the flag of the European Union.

The article puts it this way:

Pope Francis has approved a decree recognizing the “heroic virtues” of French politician Robert Schuman, known as an ‘architect’ of the EU. The official decision is one of the first steps to Schuman potentially becoming a saint.

Having served as France’s finance, foreign and prime minister after World War II, the statesman became best known for proposing economic unity among European nations in the so-called “Schuman Plan” of 1950, which eventually evolved into what is known today as the European Union. In the late 1950s, he served as the first president of what is now the European Parliament.

The Pope’s decree on Saturday declares the “heroic virtues” of the politician, who can now be considered and called “venerable” by the faithful of the Roman Catholic Church.

In other words, Schuman has been advanced to the first stage on the way to sainthood in the Roman Church, and notably, not for any particular evidence of sanctity:

Some social media users have questioned the news, apparently puzzled by the "mix" of politics and religion. Shuman’s actions were a “political success or political heroism but nothing to do with sainthood at all,” one Twitter user commented, while another expressed disappointment that religion could be “politicized like this.”

Well, politicization of Roman Catholicism is nothing new for the papacy, as any short reading of mediaeval history - or for that matter, the documents of Vatican II - will reveal.

Indeed, one of the hallmarks of the Vactican II documents is that many of them read like political documents, full of fluffy phrases and flannel-mouthed spin, and little by way of traditional expressions of  the Roman Catholic faith...

...except when they talk about one thing: the papacy itself. There all the traditional language is maintained regarding papal claims, making it but a power structure having little to do with the other content of that faith. It's as if Vatican II is really saying that the one essential core element of that faith is simply submission to the papacy no matter how kooky or divorced from the rest of that faith its decrees may be. Those parts of Vatican II, in other words, could have been written by Boniface VIII whose mediaeval bull Unam Sanctam is about as clear an expression of papal claims one could want, and it's worth noting that the Nicene-Constantinopolitan Creed, in none of its articles, mentions the necessity - pace Boniface VIII or Vatican II - of being "subject to" the "Roman pontiff." 'Nuff said...

So what's the play here?

What follows is, of course, high octane speculation. Years ago I wrote a four-volume theological tome, based on classes I had taught, called God, History, and Dialectic (available on Lulu). In the final chapter of that work in volume three, I argued that the papacy would be captured by "globalism" by dint of its own claims. Taking that as a template for today's speculation, I suspect that this is a "first step" to integrate the papacy not only into the EU political structure, but more importantly, into its financial structure. Schuman, after all, and as the article points out, was France's first post World war Two finance minister. The papacy's move, in other words, is a step toward giving papal sanction and recognition to the EU political and financial structure.

Or to put it more succinctly and bluntly, its a step in the direction of reintegrating the temple, and the bank, that I warned about in my books Babylon's Banksters and The Financial Vipers of Venice.

It's the integration of the papal tyranny, and all its claims, with the bureaucratic and financial centralization - tyranny - of the EU.  Imagine for a moment the integration of the secrecy of the Vatican Bank, coupled with the papal claims, with the structures of the EU, and you get the picture.

Nothing good, in the long run, will come of it.

See you on the flip side...

    Sanctifying a founder of the EU looks like a prelude to sanctifying the EU political structure. Is this a move to make the Roman Church more relevant in an increasingly secularized world where many Christian churches in America are not aligned with the Vatican and where American bishops talk of denying the current American President communion due to his political views being deemed sinful? So for now it appears the Pope has won – Biden will get communion – and in Europe, a former EU political figure will also receive “Papal” favor. Why not. Since Constantine, the Church has been about politics. He didn’t adopt Christianity to love his neighbor. He did it to win battles. I wonder, if Robert Schuman should achieve sainthood what descendants of his would benefit politically or financially from being the descendant of a “Saint”? What favors might he (or, heaven forbid, she) do the Roman Church? Remember the Tree of Jesse? Is Pope Francis seeking to foster a Tree of Robert? If only we could tie the Holy Grail into this.

    This looks like another step in Bible prophecy involving visions, the TEN TOES on the statue in the book of Daniel and the TEN HORNS on the BEAST in the book of Revelation. This points to a REVIVED ROMAN EMPIRE. A reunited Europe. Hal Lindsey gives his interpretation of this in his 1970 book THE LATE GREAT PLANET EARTH. Lindsey used 1970 events to warn about the coming of the Great Tribulation. Fortunately for him Lindsey did not set any definite date for the appearance of the Anti Christ. I’m tempted to mention Saturday Night Live and Father Guido Sarducci. I wonder what the good father would have to say about this latest sainthood. But, if you read Lindsey’s book you won’t be laughing.

    It is interesting to note that Mario Draghi the former President of the European Central Bank is now the Prime Minister of Italy.

    Religions have always been covertly political but this seems quite a bit of an overt political step for the Roman Catholic Church.

    Holy Roman Empire redux anyone how about an examination of the Donation Of Constantine the foundation of the papacy. And is the Roman Catholic Curia just the old Roman Senate or is it a cover for the Sandhedren of The Temple an answer, please?

      Succession of empires is always achieved, by traveling play actors (pretenders), that move with the money.

      Deification of rulership is the crucial scam, that the Scythian martial art exposes, by the seven seals in the Revelation.

      Sanhedrin was based on Jacob’s zodiac, and that the Scythians abandoned, when they self-identified as Isaacs (Sakas), and became Saxons.

      Heathenry has always been about secularized rulership, against the Goa’uld snake heads.

        Sanhedrin carries is the perfumed curse of Samuel, because elevating one tribe, to rule them all, based on a fragrant oil, is asking for trouble.

        Critique, against Samuel, produced a meritocratic criterion, for a secular ruler, and that is the Saxon CYNING, based on nursery rhyme riddles, in the Rune poem.

        Thor Heyerdahl was horribly mistreated in Norway, when he sought the Scythian roots of Odin in Caucasus, that Snorri Sturluson wrote about in the Middle Ages.

        BECAUSE modern kingship in Norway is still deified, by sentiment of “lutefisk & lefse”.

    Canonization of secular persons may not not without precedent, but a modern one with this signature arouses suspicion. What a fascist thing to do. If the Roman Catholic church became a cult underneath a geopolitical/religious monarch and that turned out bad, wait until we see the corporate variant. When the committee wields power through the puppet, the committee is insulated. If the puppet disagrees with the policy, he is retired. if the puppet gets all the arrows, he is replaced. The stability is in the committee.
    Talking about continuity of governance.

    As I read your blog headline for today; I literally laughed out loud!
    Sainting the WW1 Nazi dream of a fascist Europe under their ruling thumb.
    They just needed a metaphorical figure head
    to alchemize the Nazi sainthood, the Madrid Plan[IMO].
    So the Vatican has already being tapped for the world religion;
    and fascism will be its partner, in this ongoing World ReSet agenda.
    To today blog post.

    Puzzle me this Batman:
    Why is covid1984 being politicized?
    Is it to kill smalls businesses & small churches?

    Ah! Some social media users are getting “narrative” scripted ink
    because they are so puzzled by the mix of politics a religion.
    Disturbed that religion could be politicized?
    Where were they when covid1984 was destroying small churches?
    Where were they when unelected, unaccountable international organizations were taking away constitutional rights; including freedom of assembly, and to practice their religion of choice?

    One difference between today’s fascism and that of Hitler;
    is that the corporation is now the figurehead, instead of the person.
    The Vatican removed the traditional religious organization[Vat 11];
    but kept the figurehead Pope to dictate policy, w/o being questioned.

    “So what’s at play here?”
    Late…
    White Rabbit.

      not only the figurehead changed, they also changed the mechanism that you need to be included to participate in the society (cash less, vaccination passports, tracing apps etc) rather then being excluded via identification of a yellow star or the south african ways.

      Sadly, this coupling of tyranny; both in religion and State as one,
      is planned to be mirrored across the globe. While, at the same time,
      “they” are merging Health w/the State, in the form of “plague laws”.
      This has been all planned and gamed.
      There is a long history of these forms of governance;
      the difference now, is that they’re going to be alchemically digitized
      into a new worldwide technocratic digital tyranny.

      That technocratic digitized tyranny is present and accounted for now;
      it just hasn’t been evenly distributed.

      That the Vatican wants to sanctify this coming tyranny
      as beyond reproach, shows where the Vatican’s true roots lie.
      Which, certainly has no place in the traditional church.

      But what of the coming marriage between the church and the state?
      For the “soul” purpose of absolute power?
      What then should this blasphemy be called?

    Translation: The vatican wants to canonize a key european globalist politician, one who did nothing special for humanity.
    A man who followed his globalist masters to help integrate a european block which led to the EU; a true masterpiece of human *something.*

    Scythian martial art went to India, and became Ashtanga Yoga, and went to Scandinavia, and became Odin’s sports, and it appears in the Revelation, as the seven seals.

    Scythian martial art is eight quantum leaps during lifespan, and adding the alchemy of year (Elohim-Yahweh), then a 32-divided system appears, that is a cognate with the Runes.

    According to Scythian tradition, a ruler is only rightful, when he has broken the sixth seal, and then he has to complete the Grail quest, that is the seventh seal.

    Bureaucrats with perks can’t pull the sword from the stone…

    If a picture is worth a thousand words, a symbol is worth a thousand pictures.
    Dr Farrell’s speculation makes perfect sense to me. In light of the general decline in church attendance and religious inclination generally in the West, I’m sure The Vatican is desperate to re-claim the power, control and financial clout it used to have even quite recently. The Vatican and the EU make perfect bedfellows to me. No offence intended, but they’re both multi-national, technocratic, autocratic political institutions – although only one of them masquerades as a church.

    • KSW on June 23, 2021 at 10:38 am

      So, if people keep walking away from the church then there’s the military with the financial institution for enforcement? It’s going to take a lot of local action on a global scale to overcome all that we are witnessing. It’s the end of an age and thank goodness for that, otherwise all this would never come to an end.

      • Foglamp on June 23, 2021 at 4:05 pm

        Well, The Roman Empire successfully re-branded itself at least once for The Age of Pisces. Let’s hope that the re-branding envisioned in Dr Farrell’s analysis and speculation for The Age of Aquarius falls flat on its face. It will only take one action on a global scale: that people wake up.

    • FiatLux on June 23, 2021 at 4:51 pm

      There’s a weird twist on the “masquerading as a church” part: A lot of committed Europhiles in Western Europe cling to the idea of the EU with the fervor of religious zealots… To some extent, the EU project became (or was deliberately made into) a secular “religion.”

      Interesting, I was aware of the John the Baptist, but not the celebration. Thanks.
