UPDATE WHAT’S GOING ON

As most of you know, after my heart attack of Jan 4th-5th, I was released from hospital with the proviso that the following week I would commence rehabilitation therapy . Instead I tested positive on one of those covid home tests and for the past week plus, have been immersing myself in gobs of vitamin c, zinc, d,  and so on. I've also been watching my blood pressure and oxygen levels fairly closely. Generally this time has just been rotating from living room to bedroom to living room, and one form of sleep or another.

I think that for the most part I have kicked it, as the cold-flu-like symptoms seem to be breaking. The only thing that is a cause for concern is that I have lost my voice; it is very difficult for me to talk, almost like laringitis, though nothing about this feels like laringitis. I certainly hope this does not last ort it will be a very short rehabilitation . Speaking of which, this is supposed to be for 35 weeks, 3 times a week, so as you can tell folks this is a process that may go on some time.

I want to thank you all for continuing to support with your prayers, comments, articles and suggestions.

I apologize for the shortness of today's post but I'm having those computer problems again where the computer spits out a few letters at a time, often garbled... when it rains it pours.

You have a Dream Team of well wishes, prayers and suggestions of things that help your conditions heal.
It’s ok for you to have a good rant and to be pissed off, too. Outrage can be channeled into vow energy, that feeds determination to progress.

Mercury is retrograde until into Feb., so we can look forward to things going awry in annoying ways. Although, I have sometimes said, mercury retrograde challenges and Murphy’s Law are the “new normal”!
A quote from the shark movie, Jaws, comes to mind, “Just when you think it’s safe to go back in the water….”. ?
Dr. Farrell, keep your sense of humor, as long as it’s not cynical humor. A good belly laugh regularly is a great source of healing. Lots of love!

    Dr. Farrell,
Thanks for updating us! Praying for your continued recovery. It is a process, so be gentle and pace yourself. So grateful that you have Shiloh with you. She will be of great comfort. We love and miss you!

Hi again Joseph. So here’s my gift of humor. Before I retired and worked for the state in developmental disabilities and traumatic brain injury, most of us, the program specialists, were living in a pretty intense reality that carried into non work hours, as well as on the job. Someone had the idea to post comics on the wall next to the toilet to make good use of that time to recoup from the stress. My favorite one showed a little yellow tweetie bird with large webbed feet sticking straight up at the ceiling on a couch with his little wings folded on his chest like he should be holding some flowers, like at a funeral! The Psy. was the traditional, sterotypical “shrink” with a sweater vest, a pipe on the table next to him, a beard, taking notes in a wild frenzy. The little tweetie bird was saying, ” When I was young, my mother puked in my mouth” !
Now that tremendously helpful humor would get me thrown off of all platforms, so don’t cancel my membership, PLEASE!!!

    btw
in terms of rehab of cardiac issues, walking appears to be the best.
    just don’t over do it.
not over doing it especially applies now with symptomatic cv1984, eh?
I swear Doc. When my wife and I got it (two weeks apart), we didn’t walk a dog for months. Dogs got it weeks later, each one in turn. It was like a bad kennel cough (for all of us). Each dog got excitable and frantic, which caused increasing dry cough out of their control. As we did with ourselves, we did with our dogs: little salt fatty broth to sooth dry throat and held them down and quiet to read on the couch with us. Cherish each breath that works and plan on the next one that wracks throat with dry hack. So yep, even now I keep good quality beef tallow, pink himalayan salt and homemade plain yogurt around. A dash of each gets throat comfort a few hours.

Aaaaaand these guys do a great job and ship quickly.
    https://www.olivenation.com/shiitake-mushroom-slices-organic.html
shitake tea with a bit of salt and fat is a wonder on dry throat and calms guts too. All the best Doc.

If you do get a wild hair enough to get a PO box at one of those local parcel post stores, a few of us less familiar Gizars will enjoy sending you snailmail items.

      And another BTW.
Please be sure to keep the Magnesium Citrate going too. It’s a wonder for heart, muscles, aches, mood, gut flow and doubles the effect of vit D3. K2 helps similarly. Epsom baths (if not just footbaths) rock and are easy ways to absorb Mg.

Hi again Joseph! So, I think catching Covid was part of the Universe’s plan, to prove some truths and deceptions about it. Seems like hardball to me!

So my Mom had quite an ironic example of positive thinking to which she was devoted. She would say, “It could always be worse”! Subtle, but think about it in terms of the power of gratitude. When I taught stress management to families with loved ones with disabilities, I would share that and they would all laugh. Which was another strategy, humor!
So I’m going to play “My congestive heart failure was Worse than Yours”. A week after they said I was in congestive heart failure, they discovered clots in my lung and both legs. Further the main artery feeding the heart was completely blocked and they couldn’t put a stint in because where it connected into the heart was dead tissue. They said I couldn’t have bypass surgery, ever, because of comorbidities. I hate that word, by the way. Then they tell me that ALL my arteries are small naturally, making it difficult to stint at all. They did 3, but 90 days later, they didn’t show any benefit. So if I stick to a new lifestyle, take my daily medication and supplement cocktails, my heart will function at 35% for the rest of my life. They tell me that’s more than enough, but they put in a defibrillator just in case it gets tired! The fact that I’m still alive and you are also, even with Covid, means there must be more reasons to be here.
I still say that snuggling with Big Boy and keeping a sense of humor have a lot to do with the success of the other interventions, and more enjoyable too!
You think you adored Shiloh before, she will be even more cherished throughout this challenge. I think I’m the only person that refers to her cat as a Soulmate !!!
    Keep agoin!

Dear Dr. Farrell — Be of good cheer! Well, that is to say, as much as it is humanly possible to do.
So many are being challenged in similar ways, with multiple issues coming at them at once. But as someone above said — it could be worse!! You could have contracted the Delta variant instead of Omicron, which is what it appears you might have contracted ( given the involvement of the throat in the manner you describe it).
      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9AFf0ysgNiM
Recently Dick Morris made some encouraging comments about how God has intervened to send us Omicron to end the pandemic, as it were.

      https://www.dickmorris.com/give-god-credit-for-omicron-replacing-delta-variant/
May God bless you and renew your strength and give you the resolve and resilience needed so that you may return to vibrant health! We are with you , and will continue to support you spiritually and materially as you tread this path. I pray, too, that you have a helper or someone looking in on you regularly.
God Bless You — Leda Swann

Cardiac rehab will make a huge difference. When my husband had congestive heart failure with an ejection fraction of only 10%, cardiac rehab got him up to 30%. A cousin of mine had a heart attack in 2012, and she did extensive cardiac rehab. She’s pretty much normal now and has even gotten herself of cardiac meds. The heart is a muscle. It can be strengthened. You’ll do well. Just focus on self care and taking one day at a time.

Glad you are feeling a bit better. Sorry to hear you have the Plague.
Just as an aside: a Fascinating book that I am currently reading and only 1/2 way through is-
The Invisible Rainbow- The History of Electricity & Life. In it the author points out that prior to 1889 and the Electrification of the Planet, Influenza came in like a fury, killed gobs of people and exited stage right as a mystery. Then by 1889 we tamed Influenza and it appeared yearly and seasonally. Heart Disease increased as electrification spread out from the Cities into the Farms. I’m just about to read the chapter on Diabetes, a little bird tells me it increased as well. Use to be a disease of thin people and rare.
So, while not a Doc or a nurse and just a nobody in NE Iowa along the Mississippi River that is extremely interested in a bazillion topics and natural health & healing as one of many……perhaps you should exam your electrical hygiene. Are you turning off your wifi at night to assist in a good night sleep. Wearing blu-blocker glasses after the sunsets when on computer especially. Using ral light bulbs and not LED’s?
etc., etc. just some thoughts to ponder!
I recommend this book to everyone, it’s a historical page turner and pertinent to our current world & health!
    Good Stuff!
PS- from a Functional Diagnostic Nutrition course I’ve taken in the past, one suggestion:
Vitamin K2 grabs circulating calcium (which is what usually blocks arteries) and puts it where it belongs into your bones & joints. Best taken with your Vitamin D. Contraindication: don’t take Vitamin K1 or K2 if you are eating rat poison, i.e. warfarin, coumadin, etc. Plus take a multi-magnesium supplement. The 1st IV line they run during a heart attack is usually magnesium to relax the muscles. A Functional Medicine Cardiologist named Wolfson has a 5 type magnesium supplement. thedrswolfson.com his wife is a Naturopathic Doc. Good Stuff, it has helped many friends with their leg cramps. And Oh, Yeah….if you’re a big coffee drinker? Coffee depletes magnesium. Too much of the wrong magnesium will put you in the smallest room of your house for a good part of the day, if you catch my drift! Good Magnesium won’t !
Be kind to your Heart, it needs magnesium! Get well & Thrive. Wishing you much Vitality! cheers

Dr. Farrell, if you have time and interest, I highly recommend reading Dr. Tom Cowan’s wonderful book on the heart: Human Heart, Cosmic Heart: A Doctor’s Quest to Understand, Treat, and Prevent Cardiovascular Disease (available at his website drtomcowan.com). He has spent years pondering heart disease and has many interesting insights as well as some recommendations. I also respectfully differ from other members who advise a plant-based diet. Cowan and others connected to the Weston A. Price Foundation (WAPF) strongly emphasize the importance of saturated animal fats for the heart (yes, this goes against conventional advice). It’s also worth visiting the “health topics” link at westonaprice.org. Finally, the “experts” are also all wrong about salt–another good book is The Salt Fix by James DiNicolantonio. Good-quality salt is very important for heart health. A terrific brand is Redmond Real Salt. With prayers for speedy healing!

    Check out this video Joseph:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZC3wRx4vV7g
Sadly, you’ll have to change your diet but there’s a MD who had a blocked widowmaker (at 24 minutes into the video) and he cleared it by dieting. Also, for the covid, you can go the Assciation of American Physicans and Surgeons website – they have a roster of MDs who will prescribe you medications like Ivermectin.

    • Scott S on January 17, 2022 at 3:05 pm

I’ll give that video a strong second. Dr. Ess. was one of a few wholistic doctors that convinced me to go to an all plant based diet nearly a decade ago. The only solution to heart problems is a low fat plant based diet. Everything else is just donations to big pharma (drugs, surgery, etc.). It will seem like your just going to starve to death initially, but your body craves whatever it’s used to eating. The Mcdougall cookbook is a great place to start. $2.50 for a used one on eBay.

Other plant based doctors to listen to are Dr. McDougall and Dr. Barnard. You notice that all these guys are all in their 70s and look great and have a lot of energy. They all totally dropped the ball on the Covid shots though.

      • James Woolsey on January 17, 2022 at 7:58 pm

Look good in 70’s? big deal. Look good in 90’s works for me.
Low fat plant based is imho inaccurate. Once again, look at Weston Price. However, following fasting organic doctor/healer sites and books for 40 years now, I do recognize that a cleaning out period works best with plants and low fat. Eventually, as so many vegetarians discover, their energy goes down and they need meat. Meat is closest to our own organs and animal products (decent and clean) are digested and assimilated the easiest.
No one will suffer from a period on cleanup with plants, juices, and NO processed foods.
BTW, look at cows and gorillas. You think: “vegetarian” right? Wrong. these animals have additional stomachs for fermenting of carbs, and they turn carbs into medium chain OILS. FATS. Fats have the highest energy content. Fats are the King of Foods. Ask Yahweh….He always wanted sizzling fats on the BBQ for delicious fumes to ascend to His dragon nostrils! Yes, the Old Testament states He is a dragon with flames from His nostrils. But…….to each…..their own “God.”
We are eaten by the gods we worship. Chose wisely.

        • James Woolsey on January 17, 2022 at 8:02 pm

To be fair, Hitler was a vegetarian and lived a long productive life! According to some he ended his days having come to the USA and was at the Mayo clinic. Yes I know this is not particularly valuable health advice, but where better to make note of such than at the fountainhead for research on Nazi International?

          • anakephalaiosis on January 18, 2022 at 4:18 am

Adolf Hitler, the vegetarian, was a catholic government Jesuit spook, who endorsed the Runic time-compass for decoration.

The ideology of the Runic sundial was never implemented into national socialism. Also the feminist hippie symbol is a stolen feather.

The Runes trace back to Genesis, and they hold precedence by merit, against political attempts of takeover.

The Runes are the seven seals expanded:

I’m really glad that you manage to stay on this side of Styx, Doctor, don’t give up.
Ivermectin is such a classic example why mainstream medicine is a freak show – it is clinically proven fact that 95% of all humans do have at least 1parasite YET doctors won’t prescribe you it to get cleaned….And on top , it is also (because it can penetrate cells) literally perfect vehicle for zinc since latter is not very well absorbed by cells if applies alone. The only thing which anyone taking Ivermectin needs to remember is that dose for human needs to be at least 5 times less then for a horse,it is potent medicine after all.

Jesuits are papal assassins, whose ends justify their means, and who were at large during the European wars of religion, and by changing their appearance, they became Freemasonry.

Jesuit foot soldiers answer to monarchs, who in turn are Jesuit Court Jew agents on thrones, who answer to papacy. Jesuits are the inquisition of Moloch, in the synagogue of Satan.

During the European wars of religion, 1/3 of the German population was culled. Modern culling is done by poisonous injection, disguised as medicine.

Papacy is disguise for communism, the ancient evil of Moloch.

It would seem that some of the mischievous Leprechauns of ole Ire have made their presence known on Microsoft’s 365. As that application is a cloud-based app it’s probably affecting quite a few user ends with translation issues. A lot of Irish nomenclature on the dialogue boxes and descriptions displayed. One may have the blood of the Gaelic line of ole Ire but the language not-so-much. Translating Gaelic takes some doing.

At any rate. Good to know that health matters have stabilized. Inflammation is one of the biggest problems with that virus. Alternative treatments exist and have demonstrated themselves to be a burr in the pocketbooks of those wanting their royalties from ill-gotten patents. Most of them medically related positions as well as some of their funders.

  35. LaurentRawlings on January 16, 2022 at 2:33 pm

    Dr. Farrell,

Thank you for the update ?? I’m not a doctor – but….both of my parents (70 and 67) had Covid pneumonia and double pneumonia (Delta) – each hospitalized for 10 days (we’re thankfully in Florida, neither had the jab), and both were given Remdisver, along with tons of antibiotics and both, thank God, survived. My dad still uses oxygen each night, but his recent chest x-ray showed that his lungs continue a strong recovery. (They had it in August 2021.) When they came home, they were still very fragile and my mom started an awful cough.

Thru America’s Frontline Doctors, we were able to obtain Ivermectin and Hydroxychloriquin. Ivermectin for my dad and hydroxychloriquin for mom, bc you should not take Ivermectin with a blood thinner (which she is on),

After allllll of that – the ivermectin and hydroxychloriquin- according to my parents (the most loving and caring people on the planet – married at 15 and 18, Appalachian and small business owners, now retired), worked best and did the most.

Again, I’m not trying to give medical advice whatsoever, simply telling my family’s story. I will add, at that time (this summer), I thought I was going to lose both of my parents at the same time. We (my family) were not allowed to see them, but we were able to call and speak to medical staff in our effort to let everyone know that these people are loved and will not be allowed to simply “fall thru the cracks.” When I took my dad to his first pulmonary visit after his discharge, his pulmonologist was actually the doctor who had discharged him at the hospital, he asked my 70 year old, diabetic father, and I am paraphrasing, “If you don’t mind, I need to ask you…we lost 20 year olds to this, and yet, you are 70 and refused vaccination, but here you are…please don’t take this the wrong way, but when I discharged you, I assumed I was sending you home to die.” (That last part was a direct quote.) My dad responded that prayer and a loving family were what brought him thru.

I will share one last thing, and please forgive the long post, but my intent is that you know you’re not alone and to encourage your heart along this journey. When my dad first came home, he had lost 25 lbs, bringing his 5’11” frame down to around 150. He looked so thin and aged. He was also using a walker temporarily upon his return. While walking to the bathroom, hooked up to oxygen, he said, so sadly, “I never thought I’d see this day.” Something arose inside of me, call it righteous anger, call it a daughter who loves her dad – this man who I had witnessed do the right thing even when he didn’t know anyone was watching – but whatever it was, I felt these words come out of my mouth, “You will live and not die and will declare the works of the Lord…and this is not “that day,” this is a bioweapon, and you are doing so well, you lived!! And you will live well!! This is not age! This is not diabetes! This is different and you have already won!!” His face lit up. He continued his journey. Day in and day out – the steroids caused the diabetes to shoot sky high, and for the first time, I had to inject my dad with insulin. We got thru it. And although the journey has been long, he is doing so very well. My mother is doing amazingly well, also.

I’m sure you’re familiar with Victor Frankl’s work, that we must have something to which we look forward to survive. Forgive my selfishness for looking forward to your next book or your next blog or your next conversation or your next update. I join your many fans in my attempt to encourage you in your health journey. You have done more for my heart, and many others, with your commitment to true Christianity and to your willingness to go “high octane speculation” with firm footing on research second to none.

    Feel better. ??

What a beautiful story, thank you for sharing and may God bless you and your wonderful folks. What a daughter you are!

Very powerful experience. They are lucky to have you. Your experience through this will lead you through the rest of your lives and I hope you’re sharing it with everyone. I shouted out at my computer screen, “Mr. Doctor, have you not questioned his unvaxxed status???????”

I’m currently helping out my 75-yr old parents (who were both jabbed with J&J) and since I changed their diets and helped them in a few other ways about two years ago neither has had a simple cold or flu. Nothing magical. Just three solid, home-made and whole food, farm-sourced meals (as little processed food as possible) a day. This has not been easy due to several complications (one of them is on 25 medications including three immunosuppressants and is an opiod addict who takes sleeping pills and drinks alcohol…) Both have pretty serious autoimmune challenges and between the two of them have had 5 surgeries (including two back surgeries) in two years. (Of course, as I type this, given what we know about the injection engineering maybe it’s the immunosuppressants, not the food, that has supported them more! Or maybe the jab was saline. Who knows?)

Yet not a sniffle or the flu. FOOD is medicine. Food is life.

Also–wanted to share that there has been a shift in diabetes treatment away from insulin (and if you look at the science of it, it’s easy to understand why and begs the question if insulin protocols are just another way to create life-long customers, if not kill humans)–please investigate the practice of intermittent fasting.

There is a nephrologist (kidney specialist) who has been treating thousands of his patients (most are senior citizens with multiple co-morbidities) successfully with a (VERY simple and straightforward) fasting/intermittent fasting protocol that allowed 90% of them to get off insulin, many also emerged out of their diabetes status. I also have first-hand experience with extraordinary health benefits from intermittent fasting (the primary recommendation) and from a 35-day fast and a 23-day fast. Here is a good intro but Dr Fung has many YouTube vids and interviews as well. Hope this inspires you.

      Be well!

Prayers for speedy return of health!

In case this is not something you are doing and might want to add, zinc ionophores, like green tea extract (EGCG I think), are supposed to help get zinc into the cells.

I experienced the heart attack/ covid double whammy last year, still kicking. Just keep an eye out for those city buses, they come out of nowhere.

My partner had 2 strokes after getting over what probably was whatever it was which turned into pneumonia.
      We don’t have health care
We just pray to who we pray to
      And rest.
There is plenty of true passages from what remains of the good book
      That tells you to ….
      TAKE IT EASY and REST.
May whoever you pray to and with you in good steed.

Thanks for the update Joseph. Do not worry… most important to take care of yourself as needed, as long as needed. Prayers continuing 😉

    When it rains; it pours.

You’ll get past this; just takes time and perseverance.
    Fortitude in spades.

Thanks for taking the time a effort, in keeping us up to date.

    Prayers continue…

Thank you for the update Dr. Farrell. I have heard from many that have had this covid that it feels “synthetic” so it isnt surprising that your case of laryngitis doesnt feel like it normally does. Take the time you need, please.

    God Bless.

  42. Cuz on January 16, 2022 at 9:40 am

    Hey cuz,
We heard you have been through the medical “washing machine” in the last couple weeks. Praying that you gain strength and recover quickly. Keep your fluid intake up. And try to establish a routine early on in your recovery so as to get yourself on the right track .And yes, “recovery” can be a long arduous process but this is certainly a time that rings “what one puts into it, is what one gets out of it.”

Keep your eyes on snail Mail. As my wife and I have sent you a little something.
    Luv ya !
