ADDITIONS TO GOSPEL OF MATTHEW DISCOVERED

Quite a few people spotted and sent along this story, and I thought it was a very appropriate story to end this year's blogs and appropriate to the holiday season. My thanks to all of you who spotted it and sent it along. The story concerns the recent discovery of some text, apparently part of the Gospel of St. Matthew's 12th chapter, that has hitherto been unknown, and just recently rediscovered:

A New Chapter Of The Bible Was Found Hidden Inside 1,750-Year-Old Text

Note the following:

In a groundbreaking intersection of technology and ancient history, scholars have uncovered a hidden chapter of the Bible within a 1,750-year-old Syriac manuscript preserved in the Vatican Library. Using ultraviolet (UV) light, researchers revealed traces of erased writing—a palimpsest—buried beneath layers of overwritten text. This painstaking process illuminated an earlier version of scripture, lost to time but now reintroduced to the world.

The manuscript, part of the Syriac translations of the Bible, is more than just a relic. It represents a key moment in Christianity’s history, when scribes worked tirelessly to preserve scripture under challenging conditions. Early Christians relied on Syriac texts to disseminate their teachings across cultural and linguistic boundaries, making this find a window into their lived experiences.

...

The newly unveiled chapter offers an expanded version of Matthew 12, a passage where Jesus and his disciples are criticized for picking grain on the Sabbath. In this version, subtle textual variations bring fresh theological nuances to light, emphasizing compassion and mercy over rigid observance of religious laws. While the core message aligns with established teachings, these differences hint at the dynamic and adaptive nature of early Christian scripture.

One may predict what will inevitably cross people's minds: is the newly discovered part of the text canonical, or not? That is to say, does it automatically belong in your copy of the Gospel of St. Matthew?

No doubt one may expect that at least some future modern versions will include it, at the minimum as a footnote. For scholars, the question goes much deeper, and with it, the question of canonicity: what is the text type that the newly discovered verses belong to? Do they, indeed, manifest readings types typical of the Syrian text type, as the article seems to suggest? Or do they manifest readings perhaps stemming from other text type that were simply translated or copied into Syriac? It is probably too early for any conclusive answers to be given, and one may rest assured that various articles will appear in arcane journals of biblical studies and textual criticism.  Even then, agreement of scholars on this or that reading does not necessarily mean that the text is canonical automatically.

Indeed, for those familiar with the traditional teaching on canonicity, it is rather different from what most American Christians and scholars, particularly those of more "conservative" outlooks, believe, for that traditional teaching is not interested in the "original autographs" of the New Testament books, but rather, much more concerned with authentic copies, and therefore, authentic text types. Once one recognizes this, then the readings of traditional English translations of the New Testament, such as the Catholic Douay-Rheims, or the Authorized King James version, are much closer to that traditional text type than the reconstructed texts of other versions, for the simple reason that those reconstructed readings are based on assumptions of textual transmission and readings vastly at variance with the traditional view, and which readings are reconstructions of scholars based on manuscripts and types of readers that are, once again, vastly different than the standard traditional text.   Accordingly, in terms of canonicity and the "micro-canon" (ie, what type of reading is canonical), just because a manuscript contains (or omits) certain verses, or has a different reading than the "normal" one, does not mean it is canonical. For example, in some manuscripts of passages of St. John, a familiar phrase - "only-begotten Son" - is in some manuscripts (not very many) rendered as "only-begotten God." To a modern mind the difference may seem slight or trivial, but when viewed against the backdrop of ancient theological controversies, the difference of wording is hugely significant and indicative of the beliefs of the people authoring each reading. It is, of course, more complex than this short review can possibly indicate, but I think enough has been said for people to get the general idea.

The point is, whether these newly discovered verses will be admitted to be "canonical micro-canon" remains to be seen. But they are a reminder that much may remain to be discovered in the dusty pages of old manuscripts.

See you on the flip side...

There’s been several new additions to our reality lately.
The addition to gospels, Cern finding “magic” in opened portal, the pope opening 5 “portals”, or doors and Prince Charles giving the “One World Order” the green light to “open”.
They seem very determined on get going with their project from 2025 and having it all ready to their huge 2030 goal.
So if what many says, that the pope are opening the “5 doors of Lucifer”, Cern is opening a gate, and is built on a site they say used to be “Hell”, and a New World Order”, which basically is satanism entering as the only accepted worship, is true; I say our last chance to escape that nightmare is about now.

Just for a start go here –

Nov 20, 2019 · This set of 41 paleo-elevation models (DEM) represents the changing paleogeography of the oceans and continents back to 540 million years ago (Cambrian-Precambrian Period).

Lots of other models have been presented over the ages, but they all contradict 2 important ‘scientific theories’.

I will leave it up to the readers here to look into these theories. However, there is absolute scientific evidence that Polonium Halos are present in ALL granite rocks on the planet Earth, including the Great Pyramid in Egypt. So, why is that important? For a start consider that Polonium Halos are present in every granite rock of the planet Earth, and certain isotopes of Polonium have a ‘half-life’ of about 22 Earth days. Those isotopes that ‘spew’ from those Polonium atoms leave microscopic ‘traces’ that have been observed to occur in ALL granite rocks on the Planet Earth.

To verify that fact a Person would need access to the Oak Ridge National Laboratories in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. There they have electron microscopes that are able to magnify little, bitty, teeny, tiny slices of granite rocks at 400X magnification. So, you could go to extreme lengths of verify these facts, or look into the research done by Robert V Gentry. Dr. Gentry was a very good friend of mine. He wrote many papers and authored several books on the subject of his research.

I personally knew Dr. Gentry well, and he was a good man, but his main flaw was in trying to prove that all of the Planet Earth was created by God, as described in Genesis, in 6 – 24 hour days, and on the 7th day God rested.

It’s a good thing my eternal life doesn’t depend upon words scribbled upon a page. However, related to Matthew, wake me up when the Hebrew version is revealed… (See the work “Supernatural Religion” for more…)

I am just wondering what hidden gospels remain to be found.

I believe humanity is living in darker times then what humaniy historically calls “the dark ages”. Seems gnosticism has bloomed far longer then Christianity has. For me, Christianity has become something to study in person and transformed in a personal belief as best as one can. I understand practicing is tied to instutionality, but I simply don’t trust its institutions. Churches, convents never translated any “holiness feelings” to me, it felt as dark as visiting camps of WW2 and or underground bunkers from Herr Hitler, that is why I avoid such places frankly. Cloistering into woman and man sanctuaries is a door for “perversions” and that is how those institutions and buildings always felt to me.

We ARE living in the darkest ages of humanity.

Modern day Roman Catholicism and Orthodoxy, which are the closest to Christ’s teachings, are still 95% Gnosticism and 5% Christ.

And I say that as a very very active Roman Catholic.

Sadness fills my heart when I see THAT INNOCENT Man’s teachings and words twisted in such a horrific and, at times repellent, way.

    1. The illusive Jews don’t exist, because there is only proto-Scythians, and the rest is an illusion, conjured by criminals, as a fake narrative, that maintains today’s Vatican hoax.

    2. Modern Jewry is, originally, the land grabbing carpetbaggers, and identity thieves, from the Assyrian empire, in the 7th century BC, who have been robbing the proto-Scythians blind.

    3. The first – and greatest – footnote, of them all, is the Last Supper skull cup – the Holy Grail – which is an endorsement of the Scythian resistance movement, from the 7th century BC.

    4. The second footnote is the endorsement of raven-Elijah, on the transfiguration mountain, who, in shape of raven-Odin, speaks of the Scythian mandate, as the gospel backdrop.

    5. The third footnote is ‘fall-death-rise’, as a vegetative metaphor, a standard Scythian theme, conveyed in runes, and spread into Europe, from fallen Samaria, that rose in Crimea.

    6. The fourth footnote is raven-Odin’s brothers, Woe & Will, who carry the ideas of ‘Yahweh & Elohim’, as ‘truce & free will’ – which is how rule of law is upheld – balancing the scales.

    7. The fifth footnote is the Scythian martial art – the Seven Seals – that produced the war decisive backward-bow-shot of the horse archer – known, as Odin’s sports in Scandinavia, and, as Ashtanga Yoga in India.

    8. The sixth footnote is European kingship tracing back to Odin, which is raven-Elijah, deciding rightful leadership, by a runic IQ-test, which ensures upward mobility – bypassing peerage, pedigree and privileges.

PI, as ratio, is also a symbol, for the ‘diametrical opposites’, that are in mutual confrontation – across the circle – and, subsequently, the point of balance is in the centre.

It follows, that 33rd degree Freemasonry, deceivingly, pretends to balance a 32-point compass, which, originally, was the rune template of Scythian Odin.

Time – seen as a landscape – does have ‘osmotic trigger points’, which means, that the ‘fallen Samaria rose in Crimea’ is ‘five magic words’, that cast a spell.

Reviving Odin, is a spell cast.

          1. Kabbalah is a Vatican damage control, as a covert operation, promoted by Freemasonry, and, Freemasonry is a Jesuit cover, and therefore Freemasonry is an agent of the Vatican.

          2. The hidden purpose of the Kabbalah hoax is, to replace the cyclical worldview of heathenry – the Olam – with an evolutionary one, that moves, from A to B (i.e. from Malkuth to Kether).

          3. Kabbalah is an alibi, for cynical social climbers, to claw themselves, from A to B – i.e. from the bottom of the barrel (Malkuth) upto the crown (Kether) – which is the zero-sum game.

          4. As a consequence of Kabbalah, the Jews, secretly, occupy all royalty in Europe, which is a covert Vatican operation – to infest Protestant heathenry, with Catholic double agents.

          5. Together, the Kabbalah’s 10 sefiroth + the 22 tarot cards (the Major Arcana) make up 32 symbols, that compete, against the 32-point compass, the rune philosophy of raven-Elijah.

          6. It means, that the revival of Odin undermines the Vatican, and exposes the Jewish royalty, as an alien foothold situation, which – in the 7th century BC – called for a skull toast.

          7. Odin occupies the 33rd point – the ‘hot seat’ – in the centre of a 32-point compass, which means, that Odin has popped the karma wheel, and stands, in the centre hub – of the axle axis.

Odin’s cyclical Olam philosophy keeps the autistic parasites out of the loop.

Please forgive me for my cutting joke in response to this Tik Toc video, but my perspective comes from over a decade of field and documentary research. The former was in the Andes, where I was investigating antediluvian and Pre-Hispanic relics both cultural and physical, involving geometry, cosmology and metrics.

Question: What do you get if you cross a flat earther with artificial intelligence?

Answer: A load of pie in the sky.

I’ve been down similar rabbit holes, albeit without the ‘help’ of AI. They’re either dead ends, or I’ve found myself with dirt kicked into my face by some rabbit, keen to defend its epistemological burrow from an enquiring intruder. Needless to say, the rabbits of epistemology have a habit of breeding fallacies exponentially.

The simple fact is that pi (π) is the proportion of a circle’s radius to its circumference. It’s dimensionless. (If you want to think of it as a number it’s a dimensionless one). It cannot vary with scale and, because it’s a proportion – rather than a ratio which is specific – π is a universal. Antediluvian civilisations worldwide were in the habit of building things that were in proportion to π, as well as to certain other dimensionless numbers. It was the basis of their measurable physics, which was radically different from ours, at least the version taught in the context of academia. Quantum measurement problem, anyone?
