    I hope the weather holds out for you Joseph. I’m on the east coast of Australia and we have had a massive rain system (once in 10 years they call it) and there is massive flooding. Luckily the worst I have had is a leaking roof.

    I saw an interesting video this morning appropo your news and views. In it a British traveler takes us on a journey to the beginning of the silk Road out in XIAN.

    He then travels up to the Tibetan plateau.

    And then out to the western reaches Of China in the desert.

    He actually makes the comment that he never sees anybody on the street in China. And indeed the railway stations are empty. As he travels up the Tibetan Plateau, there are many people. As he travels back into China out west, again, the place seems empty. So there is an anecdote for you! How sad!

    Definitely a story to watch.
    You won’t find it in mainstream USSA…
    …because, it’s “real” news – albeit, not as clear as one would want.

    Xi’s military coup failed.
    Chinese population took a hard covid19[84] death-shot.
    [Whose to blame? Who takes the fall? Was it A Western Op? Domestic Op? Global Op?]
    Have tariffs exacerbated an already shaky economic/political/military landscape?
    Will Chines power become more balkanized?

    Will military hardliners take control?
    Does Taiwan then become red-hot?

    If the “West” added the tariffs to make it worse;
    and Taiwan goes hot?
    Is that another: Mission Accomplished??
    Another war, upon war, upon war?
    Because – War Has Been, and IS – Our Business Model?
