MISSING TURKISH CERN SCIENTIST
Sometimes I get a story that is so bizarre and strange in some of its details that I have to blog about it, and this one certainly fits the bill. It was shared by E.E., to whom we are grateful for bringing it to our attention. The subject matter alone is something I've blogged about before on this site (and years ago, in fact), when I blogged about all those scientists in the bio-medical sciences who suddenly went missing, or who suddenly seemed to drop dead for no good reason. Most of these, you might recall, were involved in various biomedical fields that gave them expertise in pathogens and how to combat them, the most famous case being of the scientist Dr Don Wiley who drove his car onto the bridge over the Mississippi along Interstate 40 at Memphis, and then - supposedly - stopped his car and accidentally jumped off the bridge to his quite "accidental" death.
These weird deaths seemed to follow an earlier cluster of deaths of physicists and engineers, many of whom were involved - apparently - in projects having some sort of connection to President Reagan's "Strategic Defense Initiative", or as it is better known, as his "Star Wars" plan for missile defense. Again, some of the deaths-by-"suicide" were downright bizarre. One such scientist in Great Britain killed himself - in one supposed version of the event - as he was out jogging by running between two cars about to have a head on collision.
You might also recall that after the biomedical "sudden deaths" there was a sudden rush of bankers that died, by jumping off tall buildings in Shanghai, or balconies in Paris, or apparently jumping onto iron fences with those big spikes on their vertical bars, and in one instance, by going out for a jog and ending up dead after being struck by a local commuter train, and so on and so on. In none of these three types of sudden professional deaths were explanations ever offered. There were plenty of theories and speculations, but "they" never bothered to offer any explanations or narratives beyond the predictable appeal to statistics and that people were thus just "imagining" things. After that, the stories just seemed to fade away quietly.
Perhaps, however, they might be coming back, with this very strange episode, which, on first reading, is so strange that it may be a one off:

Now, of course, it is entirely possible that the unfortunate Dr. Dolek met with some sort of untimely end or may - again, unfortunately - be the victim of some sort of "ordinary" crime. But unfortunately for those possible explanations, the articles quickly dispel those possibilies.
In fact, in reading both articles, I for one cannot avoid the feeling and thought that something is mightily "off" about this incident. Just consider the opening two paragraphs of the article accompanying Dr. Dolek's picture above:
A Turkish physicist has gone missing in the United States after reporting irregularities at Fermilab, America’s particle physics and accelerator laboratory operated by the Department of Energy, Turkish media reported over the weekend.
Dr. Furkan Dölek, a specialist in dark matter and high-energy physics who previously worked at CERN and Virginia Tech, has not been heard from since last week, when he was reportedly detained near the Canadian border. His family in Adana, southern Turkey, said they have been unable to reach him for four days and fear for his safety. (Emphases added)
These revelations are quickly followed by these:
Dölek completed his Ph.D. in Switzerland on a scholarship before joining Virginia Tech in 2023 and later working at both CERN and Fermilab. According to Türkiye Today, he raised alarms over safety violations and security gaps at the US facility, filing complaints with the Department of Energy. His relatives say he faced retaliation, including harassment, dismissal from his job and the cancellation of his visa.
The physicist had launched a solo march to Canada to draw attention to his case, documenting the journey on social media. His last public update, posted on LinkedIn four days ago, said he had reached Akwesasne, a Mohawk territory along the St. Lawrence River, after walking from Massena. “I’m exhausted, my legs are burning, and I’ve got blisters on my feet… but I’m grateful to have made it this far,” he wrote.
His family says his phone and computer were confiscated during his reported detention and that they sold their house in Adana to finance his legal battle in the US. They warn that under new refugee laws, he could face transfer to a detention facility in El Salvador. (Emphases added)
Note what we have: (1) a foreign national, in this case, from Turkey, (2) who had worked for, or had some connection with Fermilab, Virginia Tech, and CERN, who was also (3) a specialist in high energy physics and dark matter (that would probably account for the CERN and Fermilab connections), who moreover has (4) discovered safety and security violations at Fermilab(or was it really Virginia Tech? or possibly even CERN?), and who (5) attempted to inform his American hosts of the irregularities, and was then harassed to such an extent he undertook a "protest walk" to Canada, where he was (6) detained by American authorities which are (7) apparently holding him and possibly denying him any contact with the outside world, including, apparently, his family in Turkey.
I don't mind saying this set of oddities - and very odd oddities they are indeed - has me speculating all over the place. For one thing, the USA and Turkey are not exactly on good terms right now, nor have they been for a number of years. So my first question is, why was a Turkish scientist in such apparently sensitive positions to begin with? The answer to that would seem to be implied: his areas of expertise were so specialized that he alone - young as he apparently is - was necessary somehow to whatever projects he was assigned to. On top of this, Dr. Dolek appears to be a rather conscientious man, who - when he encountered safety and security violations - promptly informed the authorities of the host country (the USA) of the violations! In other words, Dr. Dolek is not the security concern, other people, and other incidents of an unspecified nature are. For his troubles in trying to alert the authorities, he was harassed, and is now apparently and possibly being held incommunicado, implying that whatever the safety and security violations he was attempting to warn about, they possibly implicated a lot of people. And "a lot of people" in its turn implies the possibility of criminal and possibly even treasonous behavior, if not outright conspiracy.
Granted, this is the wildest high octane speculation, but it does emerge as a possibility from the strange set of seven factors about this case. And his specialties - high energy physics and dark matter - suggest, to my mind at least, that he was involved somehow in some very black projects, and very possibly of a military and hence highly classified nature.
Why else hold him incommunicado? Time will tell, but if you ask me, we should be prepared for a "sudden release" of the "nothing to see here, move along" variety, and then a narrative that is bland and innocuous, and also some changes in "character and personality" from Dr. Dolek. And that, unfortunately, is the best outcome. But it still won't explain those seven nasty things outlined above, nor what he was doing, nor why he should have been detained for trying to alert authorities.

I really enjoyed reading this. Here’s a weird thing for y’all. I’m in rural Texas which is weird enough on its own, to me anyway, but I’ll shelve my inner dialogue on the choices I’ve made that led me here for now. In the past six months there have been three people walking in protest through my little town of Wills Point, Texas. One of these sun parched people got my attention because he was stupidly forcing his Great Pyrenees dog to go along for the not-ride, walking hellscape of Texas in the summer. I treated the dogs paws and sternly told this man it was stupid and selfish to bring his dog with him on this self righteous quest.
He opened up to me after several days of offering my animal triage skills to his dog and told me he was a veteran and that he was working a contract for Raytheon and was “disappearing himself.” He saw my facial expressions and gathered enough intuitive info from my obvious skepticism written on my brow. He showed me his ID and badge for Raytheon. These ID badges were kept in his dog’s harness pouch.
He wouldn’t give me any details but he seemed legitimately afraid of being caught.
I believed him. He wasn’t on drugs or drunk but at a glance you would just think he was a standard issue Austin bum. In a matter of minutes anyone with any kind of awareness would easily come to the conclusion that I did…This guy isn’t stupid. Bringing the dog along is dumb and pissed me off, but I put that on a mental shelf to hear his story without my insane bias toward the dog verses the person. Is that insane? No. Dogs are better people. Not sorry. Anyway… He ended up getting picked up by someone who drove from Washington State and offered house him in the woods somewhere? Raytheon has a few facilities in Texas and my uncle retired from Raytheon and was pretty high up on the food chain. (Germans…I’ll leave that there) Raytheon has a project that I do know about outside of Fort Hood. (Which now has been renamed because you know…racism or something?). The project is similar to the HAARP in Alaska, however, according to a family member, there is a particle accelerator project around that area as well.
I looked all over for any articles about this guy being missing and I have not found any. I just wanted to throw that out there because it was so eerily similar . What I can say is that the guy I met was legitimately scared and was obviously putting himself in tremendous discomfort to disappear. Pray for his dog though. I stressed over that dog.

I have a lot of questions and really want to know what safety issues this Turkish dude is talking about. Safety issues and CERN are not meant to be in the same sentence. At least not in my head. What we are seeing all over western countries is CLEAR and hard ideological divison lines being created! We have the conservative side scrambling hard to to the extreme right! and we have those who have drank the woke poison Kool-Ade scrambling to the extreme left. And then you have people who are not in either of these groups but see where it is all going! And some of those are checking out or falling apart!

What was this man working on that the US disappeared him
First: There is ZERO corroboration on what he says about why he was let go! So, whatever he says should be taken with a great deal of caution!
Secondly; in his original linkedin post on this he doesnt just list problems at U.S. Facilities, he includes CERN in Europe!
Thirdly; he is a very partisan left wing liberal, which means he views everything through that lens!
Conclusion: a very dubious story indeed!
Interesting, must have been a really big safety concern for someone to do all that. Doesn’t sound like minor safety and health concerns one encounters in companies that like to cut corners to save a few pennies. Well, we know many of these researchers are willing to risk blowing up half the planet to prove their new theories that could earn them a Nobel prize. We also know western governments are also willing to take chances on blowing up the entire planet if they think it’s necessary to do so to master new technology before other countries do. Probably the justification is something like, “Well, if someone is going to accidently blow up the planet doing dangerous new physics experiments we want the prestige of doing so before someone else gets the chance.”
The whole incident points out the vulnerability of individuals from other countries working with a visa, whether in a government or corporate position on down to hospitality workers. Say anything and we’ll revoke the visa. Not much difference from a plantation slave or prisoner.
Honestly, I would not be surprised scientist after contract work get offed. It helps the dumbing down of the multitudes and foster an elite total controlled group. That is what corporations are creating. Everything under one umbrella under total control. It fits the “imperial mode”!
