Oftentimes it may not seem evident how difficult it is to pick articles to blog about, nor may it seem evident of how many articles - all of them worthy and bloggable - stuff my email inbox by the end of the week. This was such a week and originally I had intended to make much of this week's blogs about the "theme" that seemed to have dominated most people's article-sharing: religion and particularly "anti-Christ" and end times and so on. I decided not to do that, as will now be evident, choosing instead to do an extended News and Views last Thursday on those articles. But even that subject did not exhaust all the articles. This US predicament suits Russia and China just fine. Russia can carry on unimpeded with its Special Operation in the Ukraine and China can prepare to invade and reunite Taiwan.

Consider this analysis: the Russians are now free to liberate the Ukraine from the neo-Nazis in Kiev and finish their Special Military Operation which I believe was based on the Putin-Trump meeting in Anchorage, Alaska. The Russians agreed tp not get involved in the Iran – Persian Gulf war for several reasons: #1 being Europe has no American ally as they had with the Biden Administration which was arming the neo-Nazis in Kiev. The EU is fragmented and weak due to many reasons.
Victor Orban of Hungary and one or two other countries have disdain for NATO and want out of the EU because they are alarmed by policies dictated in Brussels that are being implemented by Ursula von der Lying. So it might be the Trump – Putin agreement – collaboration was an agreement to let each other achieve their individual goals. Putin’s #1 goal was to keep the Ukraine from joining NATO.
