TOKENIZING TREES: THE SOVIET TREE PROBLEM IS SOLVED

With today's story we may, perhaps, have a clue as to the real motivations for the latest assassination attempt on Mr. Trump. In last Monday's blog I suggested that the purpose of such "failed" assassination attempts is really to ensure that a leader stays on the reservation and continues to do what he's told. In Mr. Trump's case that might be to continue promoting the "tokenization" of assets, his "sovereign wealth fund", and the drive toward a cashless society. But whether it is or is not the case here, the tokenization of assets story is one that has recently raised its ugly head in a major way. Consider the following three stories, the first is a Facebook story - shared by many of you - that gets the implication of the World Economic Forum's latest scam absolutely correctly, and the second and third stories by J.M.T. (for which we are very grateful) which shows the result in practice:

As the first article correctly notes, the World Economic Forum wants to turn life-sustaining things like the air we breathe and the water we drink into assets on the banksters' balance sheets. That is to say, they want to own them, to transform the very air and water of the planet, into property...their property. This has been one of their goals ever since they announced at the World Wilderness Congresses of the late 1970s and 1980s that they wanted to use the world's wilderness land as a backing for a new global currency. At the time people had difficulty understanding what or how land would be used to "back" a currency, and admittedly, the language being used was deliberately obfuscatory to a degree, but a moment's reflection and analysis would reveal what they were really up to: they were trying to turn all resources into assets, and those in turn could be tokenized. They were attempting to create a global currency on the model of the Soviet ruble, which was a tokenized representation of the entire assets of the Soviet Union. Why? Because the Marxist doctrine of the Soviet state said that everyone owned everything, and thus money was a representation of the decimal or fraction of "everything" that an individual held. Or something like that.

The problem was, how did one tokenize trees? How many trees did the Soviet Union have? How big and healthy were they? what were they worth?

No one knew.

The best one could do was estimate. And the estimate had better be in line with what the Party bosses thought.

If you are thinking "Well, that's a system tailor-made for all sorts of fraud and corruption," you'd be right. So how to get around the problem of all those trees in all that Siberian tundra and forest. A huge, gigantic pool of resources, to be sure. But no one had a clue to its actual worth.

So notice the second and third stories above: enter satellites, and digital data storage and processing. Notice, for example, the telltale comment from the second article:

“Protecting America’s farmland is protecting America itself, and this work gives USDA the visibility and speed needed to safeguard our food supply,” said USDA Chief Information Officer Sam Berry. “Our farmers sustain this nation, and modern tools help us support them with greater precision. I look forward to working with Palantir as we continue serving the American farming community, which serves all of us every single day.” (emphasis added)

And the same modern tools give a very clear picture of the individual farm's productivity and the health of its crops, and a good measure of their market value and worth... and tax obligation. But if that does not convince you that all of this wonderful technocracy is in aid of the tokenization of assets, consider the implications of the third article:

Weyerhaeuser, a timber company that owns roughly 10,400,000 acres of American forest land and 14,000,000 acres of timberland in Canada, is mapping every inch of their land with AI, creating a detailed database containing every tree the company has mapped out. The company claims this increases efficiency and hopes to double its profits by 2030.

The Wall Street Journal published a recent focus piece covering this process.

The article begins with how every tree in their woodlands is being individually mapped.

Autonomous skidders that drag felled trees around logging sites. A database detailing each tree in the forest. A screen that shows loggers which trees to cut and which to leave standing to maximize financial returns decades down the line.

The Soviet Tree Problem is solved!  We can now track every individual tree, and track it from root and branch to finished plank. We now know precisely the value of all those trees. They can now be entered on the balance sheet as assets. And by tracking every tree, voila, the black market problem is "solved", for "we" will be able to track anyone selling a tree to someone on the "Don't Sell Trees or Lumber to These Guys" list. Indeed, we'll be able to track anyone presuming to cut down unauthorized trees. Of course, "we" will reserve the right to make exceptions and exemptions for ourselves and our friends, and to regulate and set the value of trees and all products thereof, because we control the measuring and tokenizing technology and thus "we" get to set the value on a tree-by-tree basis, and based on who is doing the cutting and finishing of the tree.

It's the logical end of a process that began millennia ago, when agriculture arose, and hence land itself became an asset and property.

We would do well, however, to recognize that logical ends are not necessarily rational nor reasonable ones. Nor is all technological progress the same thing as cultural and civilizational progress. The WEF's plan, the tokenization plan itself, is ultimately diabolical, for it makes life itself a closed commodity, a scarcity, that can only be enjoyed by paying a fee. Life becomes perpetual debt servitude, or at best, a process to be improved upon... for a price, of course. The other view, of course, is that life is a free gift, an abundant one. No one has a claim or lien upon it, other than its Creator.
