The Guardian article has missed one fundamental point about Transhumanism and the tech billionaire busybodies. None of them believe in a Soul or Spirit that animates and is the life force of the human body.

I do often wonder if A.I. and brain links are ultimately about billionaire busybodies attempting to transduce human spirits / souls.
