TWO SIMPLE QUESTIONS ABOUT JD VANCE’S MEETING ON ARTIFICIAL ...

At this juncture, with executive orders establishing sovereign "wealth"  funds to include "assets" that consist, in part, of klepto-currency blips on a computer screen (and thus presumably and ultimately "tokenized 'assets'"), I think it is fairly safe to conclude that this administration has sold what little soul there was in it to the technocrats. The other part of that soul appears to have been bought by AIPAC.  In any case, you may have missed that special meeting that Vice President Vance held with some leaders of the plutotechnocracy, and may have missed some of the potential high octane speculative implications of that meeting. Here's the story that was spotted and shared by K.M. (with our gratitude):

JD Vance holds chilling closed-door summit with America's most powerful men as horrifying global threat menacing hospitals spirals

The meeting, you'll note, was all about the security implications of artificial intelligence platforms as more and more platforms are reporting anomalous, and quite anti-human, behaviors from their programs:

JD Vance was shaken.

The technology he'd spent months championing was now threatening to tear through America's banks, hospitals and water plants.

On an April phone call with the country's most powerful tech executives, the Vice President sounded the alarm on the runaway dangers of their own creations.

Note that the technology is "threatening to tear through America's banks..." and other institutional infrastructure. Tuck that hole card away for the moment, as we're going to come back to it. The article continues:

The Vice President, whose Silicon Valley ties made him the White House pointman on AI, now had a stark warning for his allies: bring your technology under control.

It marks a stunning about-face.

...

The catalyst was Mythos, the latest AI model from Silicon Valley giant Anthropic, and its astonishing ability to autonomously hunt down and exploit cybersecurity flaws.

So dangerous is the model that Anthropic has withheld it from public release, fearing Mythos could be turned loose on America's critical infrastructure.

In testing, it behaved like an elite hacker, uncovering a 27-year-old flaw in OpenBSD, an operating system prized for its security, that had eluded human researchers for decades.

It was also able to discover weaknesses in the Linux kernel, the backbone of most of the world's servers.

Oh, and it's not just banks and water plants and hospitals that are in danger, there's also the military, with its heavy commitment to the development of operational artificial intelligence platforms for military use:

Unauthorized users from a 'private online forum' managed to break into Mythos through a third-party vendor in the same week as Vance's call, Bloomberg reported.

The group reportedly got in by making 'an educated guess about the model's online location based on knowledge about the format Anthropic has used for other models.'

...

'We're investigating a report claiming unauthorized access to Claude Mythos Preview through one of our third-party vendor environments,' an Anthropic spokesperson said.

...

Anthropic has already found itself at the center of America's defense, securing a two-year Pentagon deal worth up to $200 million to supply AI tools for military and intelligence work.

And all of this creates a delicate problem of balance, as the article concludes:

It leaves the White House caught between two fears: move too fast and AI could trigger the catastrophe Vance warned about, but move too slow and Beijing will leave America in the dust.

Move too fast, and trigger a catastrophe. Move too slow, and China wins the race.

I have two simple questions that occurred to me as I read this article and began to work through all of my usual "high octane speculations" about the implications. "What if", I asked myself, "all this race for artificial intelligence is, in fact, a kind of diabolical ploy by those oh-so-clever-and-inscrutable-Orientals? What if they know all about those dangers of artificial intelligence, and are pretending to engage in a race to develop and operationally deploy it, in the knowledge that it contains fatal flaws that will cause catastrophe to whomever does 'win' the race, and deploy it? What if this whole quest is the biggest 'rope-a-dope' in boxing history, getting an opponent to build out energy-and-water-gobbling 'data centers' that don't actually work, and which, indeed, endanger any institutions or systems that use computers?"

And that brought me to my second simple question and concern. Why, all of a sudden, is JD Vance so exercised about artificial intelligence after a few "anomalies" reported in connection to Anthropic's Mythos artificial intelligence platform?

The article strongly suggests the reason, without spelling it out, and in doing so I suspect is ringing the alarm bells for all the plutotechnocrats talking so smugly about "tokenization" and cashless systems and connecting them to social credit systems like communist China, the "Beast System" as Catherine Fitts and others like John of Patmos (remember him?) have described it. That reason is, what happens when Mythos, or any other artificial intelligence platform, burrows its way into the whole digital klepto-currency world and starts re-writing the supposedly "unhackable" blockchain codes that enable its distributed ledgers? What happens when account access is lost to a program that has rewritten all its security features and identifiers? What happens when that artificial intelligence security bot refuses to recognize the real human owner of the account (I know that scenario, because that's what happened to me on my Facebook account. Thanks, Mr. Zuckerberg, for waking me up, because having seen how easily compromised your whole platform is, I want nothing further to do with it.)

In any case, I think you get my point. If my high octane speculations are correct, it's only a matter of time before some artificial intelligence platform worms its way into the whole klepto-currency architecture and the dream of tokenization and a cashless world comes tumbling down. Perhaps that's why the aptly surnamed Larry Fink and other plutotechnocrats are in such a hurry to build out a system whose inherent flaws have been highlighted time and time again, including this time by the Vice President himself, who is no opponent of the plutotechnocratic designs of the current administration.  One can only imagine when these flawed platforms gain such a hold in military institutions that they take control of targeting and weapons systems...

... and yea, they've already made several movies about that, too, like Eagle Eye...

So before your local town council bows to the "wisdom" of the plutotechnocracy and grants the building permits for that local data center, you might want to think of the screwed up, barely functional, system of slavery it promises...

See you on the flip side...

wow… you actually resort to the Daily Mail for your “scare me” stuff

    that is kind of pathetic

but I guess if it keeps eyeballs glued to screens…….

may I suggest the use of “technoplutocracy” instead?

“techno” is more of a standalone term… and “plutocracy” puts the emphasis where it belongs… on the the group of plutocrats who actually run the show…. they are “techno” plutocrats

    Golem mud cookies galore!

Today, the Von Braun’s alien meme, in Rosin’s affidavit, won’t work, as a false flag – because the Tower of Babel is presently collapsing, and, Neo’s Matrix is unravelling.

Therefore, conjuring a ‘ghost in the machine’ – a techno-golem – a petrodollar poltergeist in crypto-Disneyland – becomes an argument, for using public funding, for bailing out banks.

Technocratic junkies need their fix – and – therefore, they invent an electronic bogeyman, on behalf of the blackmailing banksters.

If this all goes horribly sideways, which I believe it will, one of the positive outcomes of this whole mess might be that AI becomes the straw that broke the camel’s back in relation to the entire digital ecosystem that has shackled and grown up around humanity.

We might end up in a Battlestar Galactica or Warhammer 40k like timeline where digital technology becomes anathema to humanity and that would be a very good thing!

It is interesting that Anthropic has restricted Mythos to roughly 40 elite firms under a confidential program dubbed ‘Project Glasswing’, among them Apple, Microsoft, Google, JPMorgan, Goldman Sachs, Bank of America, Citi and Morgan Stanley.

Why was the name “Glasswing” chosed for this proejct? It really reminds me of “Project Looking Glass” and the convergent timeline paradox.

Thank you for the links Michael and the first thing I thought of too w Glasswing sounds like Project looking Glass

It seems like plotocaties are stupid or have known that these systems are insecure from the beginning, and they try to rob the rest of us of our bank savings

“Daisy, Daisy, give me your answer do. I’m half crazy all for the love of you.”With those simple words the HAL 9000 was programmed to act on his “love”, his dedication to the mission to Jupiter and its orbiting obelisk, and he therefore killed 4 of the human crew and locked Dave, the last human crew member, out of his own space ship. So yes, what a shame if Trump’s AI locked him out of his own kleptocurrency accounts, all his bank accounts, and locked him out of the weapon systems he likes to tout as making his War Dept. and thus HIM the force to be reckoned with, take note Pope Leo (who has just issued a warning about AI, maybe JD got an advance copy?).
How many AI systems are designed to identify weaknesses and safeguards in systems and break through them, to penetrate and seize control and disrupt functioning of those systems? Does this rapacious behavior not indicate the kinds of problems AI is causing? What does a safecracker do after getting into the safe? Steals the cash, the jewels, the bonds, the secrets, the Epstein files, the Moscow Trump videos, whatever, and runs off with the goods.
Or there’s the Goldfinger option. As suggested China may be up to. Break in, blow up the goods, and suddenly the value of your goods skyrockets. Except China is getting us to make the bomb to blow up our goods – banks, weapon systems, klepto accounts, whatever isn’t analog, cash and carry.
“Mr. Vice President, Pope Leo is holding on Line 1.”

What will happen when data centers lose power, or become over-loaded with too much power? What if a solar flare from Earth’s Sun overloads the atmosphere and sends too much energy for the power grid to handle and just shuts down? Plus other means could be used.
