    Joseph – there is more than one highway for the origin, transmission and analysis of information and data.
    It is no coincidence that one tech company is named Oracle and another is named Palantir.

    For thousands of years humans have used divination and orcales to source and analyse information, data and knowledge.

    There is an excellent book by Robert Temple – Netherworld, which explores the Oracle of the Dead and the ancient techniques of fortelling the future.

    What some of these tech billionaire busy bodies are really attempting to achieve in the 21st Century is the same thing as the ancients – but using A.I and datacentres and electricity, instead of crystal balls, oracles and hallucionegics to fortell the future.

    Both Arthur C. Clarke’s, and Isaac Asimov’s, assessment is, that sabotage is instigated, by a ‘conflicted programming’ – which causes the crazy-daisy HAL 9000, to execute crew members, and the enslaved robo-Goys to rebel, against the Jewish Foundation dynasty, of galactic slave masters, in a cosmic Holocaust™.

    The deplorable Goys are programmable Pavlovian cattle, that, when troubled, by ‘conflicted programming’, causes the technocrats’ Tower of Babel [the autistic utopia] to collapse – which occurs, when the Jaffa warriors rebel, against the snakeheads, and overthrow the Goa’uld Vatican, in the sci-fi Stargate [the Blue Banshee’s wormhole].

    Joaeph, your criticism of e-books. I heard a story about someone who was locked out of reading their e-books because the books had not been approved in the country they were visiting. The is since e=books can be altered without the user’s permission or their awareness. As for AI, who are the puppet masters pulling the strings?

    While I agree with your views, I think this article begins with the logical fallacy ‘AI is causing this. . . AI is causing that. . .’ when in actual fact, there has been a generation of enstupidized students that already couldn’t read, write, reason, debate, or think critically before AI came along. If anything, AI might make it possible for these mentally challenged citizens to more fully participate in society (and the economy). Maybe it’s a sad situation, but AI will be a critical tool for all sorts of people who were not well educated by the school systems, and never learned to think, or read.
