THE LATEST WONDERS FROM ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
There's a story circulating out there that even made the attention of this website's regular forum posters, and it's once of those happy synchronicities that the same story made it into this past week's email inbox, because it's another one of those stories that signals that Not All is as Hunky Dory With The Artificial Intelligence Narrative As the Powers That Be Want Us to Believe. In fact, when you view the story as being a g(r)ift from the same group of people that gave us the Covid planscamdemic g(r)ift and the Follow The Science g(r)ift (you know, people like Baal Gates, Dr. Lieber, Dr. Fausti et al.) and that are now giving us the tokenizaed assets g(r)ift (you know, people like the aptly-surnamed Larry Fink), it has some profoundly disturbing implications, especially for a society that through its endless sponsorship of the latest edubabble and pedagogiblither has managed to create one of the stupidest cultures on the planet. (Don't believe me? Then just listen to their favorite one dimensional "music" that they pound on you relentlessly through their sub-woofers, and you'll be convinced that it will not be long at all before the high fashion of the culture will be a loin cloth and a femur bone through the nasal septum, with perhaps a few teeth arranged as a bracelet or necklace. But I digress.) So many people shared different versions of the story that we'll stick with a couple that were sent by E.E., who has our gratitude for doing so:
AI Chatbots Diagnosed a Disease That Doesn't Exist
Here's the gist of the story:
Almira Osmanovic Thunström, a researcher at the University of Gothenburg, uploaded two fake academic papers describing bixonimania to a preprint server. Preprint servers do not peer-review submissions, but their content is routinely indexed and pulled into the training pipelines and retrieval systems used by major chatbots. Within weeks, ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Microsoft Copilot and Perplexity were citing bixonimania as a real condition, sometimes confidently describing its causes, symptoms and recommended treatments.
The contamination did not stop with the chatbots. A subsequent paper in Cureus, a journal owned by Springer Nature, cited bixonimania in its own discussion of digital-age eye conditions. After Nature contacted the journal for comment, the paper was retracted on 30 March 2026. Coverage of the fallout is available at Nurse.Org and Futurism.
Now what's extremely interesting about this and other articles is the conclusions that they draw from the episode. You might want to pour yourself a couple of fingers - or maybe even a whole hand - of your favorite adult drink and take a long hard draft of it before reading on:
This story keeps getting trimmed down to "AI fell for a fake disease," which misses the structural finding underneath. The chatbots were notably more likely to hallucinate around bixonimania when the prompt was framed in formal clinical language. Nature reports that when the input looked like a hospital discharge note or a clinical paper, the hallucination rate rose.
In other words, the register that would make a human reader more cautious, the register of a clinical paper or hospital note, makes a chatbot less cautious. That inverts the trust signal patients are usually told to look for. The model treats authoritative-sounding language as evidence that the underlying content is also authoritative, which is the opposite of how a clinician is trained to read it. (Emphasis added)
In other words: the real story is not that artificial intelligence fell for a fake disease, but that artificial intelligence not only fell for a fake disease, but that it fell even harder for it when the disease was surrounded by a context of pseudo-scientific bloviation. And that should send a huge warning sign not just about AI, but the culture in general in which AI is being trumpeted. Many years ago I wrote a four-volume "tome" on the differences of philosophical, theological, and general cultural "outlook" between eastern and western Europe that occurred as the direct result of very different theological presuppositions. In the section of that work (it is titled God, History, and Dialectic, for those interested) that was dedicated to the presentation of Gnosticism, I departed rather heavily from typical "seminary" presentations of those systems, concentrating not on the specific doctrines of this or that Gnostic system, but rather upon the strategies and tactics with which they promoted those systems. One of those strategies was to "contrive orthodox contexts", i.e., to dress specific statements - or even whole collections of statements such as the so-called Gnostic gospels - in a surrounding context that would appear to confer legitimacy and authority to the textual source containing them.
And that is what to some extent what is happening here: if the statements about a completely fictitious disease are to be taken seriously, surround those statements with language that sounds sophisticated, "authoritative"... "scientific"; surround your made up concept or disease with something like "Our study showed that deformations of the retinal combobulator, bixonimania, increased significantly with exposure to photonic projection from liquid crystal matrices and hence corrective action was advisable in such instances, up to and including displacement of such matrices from the environmental situation in which such conditions predominate for the user." It's the same nonsense promoted by the educational establishments in the schools, which we (less-than) lovingly refer to on this website as the "edugarchy": open any textbook of educational theory and pedagogy, or subject yourself to a class of it, and you'll be fed such tactics on steroids: blithering nonsense couched in pseudo-academic jargon to make insanity sound rational and beneficial. Now imagine that Mr. Globaloney has been planning to dramatically increase the reliance of "essential services" - like medicine, education, and of course, eventually law, law enforcement, adjudication and so on to artificial intelligence and robots - and you get the picture.
Or to put it country simple: Most modernism and its fads are but dressed up Gnosticisms: garbage in, garbage out, and it's not even as entertaining as "Professor" Corey, The World's Foremost Authority.

… It sounds like Richard Doty’s *80/20″ Counter Intelligence formula at work. 80% of the information provided has to be “true”. Truth but meaningless truth. In this case the 80% true is the “right look” of the information being provided in the form of the two “academic papers”. The other 20% is total dis or mis information intended to alter the interpretation and or perception of the target story (in this case the target being the medical database used by the AI for providing diagnoses) by using the 80% meaningless truth to get the “bite down hard” effect required. Given the results of this “minor” AI “mis-feeding” can you imagine the implications if the 80/20 formula was being regularly, intentionally used for “training” AI? What if AI “training” has been and is being intentionally manipulated by a constant stream of Doty formulated and fashioned information …

AI is created by science techs who are affiliated with the computer-phonetech-(anti)social-media-data-mining-surveillance-capitalism-influencer cancer affecting our social disorder. AI is as much a smokescreen for extreme nefarious action as the “authoritatve” language of medicine that convinced AI that Bixonomania was not BS. And what is the lesson of Adam and Eve we are primed with, programed with, from an early age? Obedience is more important than knowledge. Our prime directive – obey higher authority. Dress up a fake disorder in language of higher authority and it obeys, gets in line, marches to the bixonomania drumbeat. The recent movie Backrooms relates to this. It involves a protagonist, architect by training but seller of crappy furniture by trade, who is single, drinks too much, sleeps in a bed in his furniture store, who discovers in the basement of his store an entry into a world of rooms that goes on and on, a world he explores deeper and deeper, where some bad things happen and he degrades mentally, psychologically. Turns out this world was created by makers of a high tech product (ironically a product used to diagnose and cure illness) and they study what is happening to people and instead of diagnosing people, curing people, helping people escape from this maddening realm of social isolation (think bubbles in place of rooms), they just want to study (surveil) what is happening to those who become lost or trapped in this backrooms existence. It’s what tech is doing to people in our society. They don’t want to fix anything, They and their AI are not going to cure society, not significantly, not if it interferes with their growing manipulation and control (power). “Welcome to my parlor,” said the spider to the fly. Bixonomania, yeah, that’s the ticket.

Here in the UK, we have recent evidence that Human thought and ability is still sought after, groomed and cherished.
In this summer’s A – Level Maths exam papser by Pearson Edexcel, one exam section left students “overwhelmed” by a few specific, extremely complex questions that required “multiple layers of reasoning” and “extended algebraic manipulation”.
According to reports, these specific questions included trigonometric identities, solving a circular segment using the Newton-Raphson method, harmonic form and complex integrals.
Some pupils expressed their indignation at the intense difficulty of the paper!

I think we can fairly assume that parts of the deep state had these additional questions inserted by the exam board to identify and pinpoint those pupils with outstanding / stellar mathematics ability. Draw your own conclusions as to the reasons why!
Emotionally distraught students throw a monkey wrench, into the toils, because the number of bananas exceeds the number of braincells.
The whiny-weepy wannabes feel, that the examination is unfair, because it hurts their feelings, and threatens their autistic cozy bubble.
