MISSING SCIENTIST WORKING ON TELEPORTATION?

As you've noticed, we've been focusing this week on stories of a scientific and technical nature, and thus we close out this week with yet another story about those missing scientists, in this case, the laboratory technician Anthony Chavez:

Before we get to the story itself, it's worth mentioning that we've encountered the "missing scientists" phenomenon before, and that they usually seem to occur in clusters dedicated to particular areas of science. By my reckoning, there have been at least three such major cycles or clusters of mysterious disappearances and deaths. The first began to occur in the 1980s and continued into the 1990s, when physicists in Europe and North American began either to disappear or to suffer mysterious deaths. Many of these individuals were connected, in some way, to President Ronald Reagan's "Star Wars" Strategic Defense Initiative, and many were connected with Britain's Marconi corporation, which was heavily involved in that project. To illustrate how bizarre some of the deaths were, one physicist was killed when he went jogging between two cars that had a head-on collision.  The second cluster of deaths began later, toward the end of the 1990s, but really took off in the early years of the Obama (mis)administration with the deaths of biologists, pathologists, and medical doctors, in a cluster of deaths that many - including this author - interpreted as being connected to bioweapons. Again, the reports of deaths and missing people could be illustrated by the case of the pathologist who drove his car across the interstate 40 bridge between Arkansas and Memphis, Tennessee. He apparently stopped his car on the span of the bridge, and was never seen again. The third cluster of deaths occurred more recently, and concerned the sudden disappearances and/or mysterious deaths of homepathic physicians.  And while not specifically related to any science or technology per se, one might also include the cluster of suspicious deaths of bankers, financial officers and insurance people from a few years ago. At one time or another, I have blogged about all of these deaths, disappearances, and groups.

To this list we may now add the spate of recent disappearances and deaths connected in one way or another to exotic physics (and thus, in some minds, to the UFO issue). This latest cycle of disappearances and deaths began with the disappearance of General McCasland. To this, we may now add Mr. Anthony Chavez, who according to the Daily Mail article linked about, was involved in experiments in "bi-location" and teleportation at Los Alamos:

Anthony Chavez, a former employee at the Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL), one of America's key nuclear research facilities, was allegedly working with a quantum physicist on a project that would allow matter to exist 'in two places simultaneously.'

Chavez, 78, was last seen on May 4, 2025 after mysteriously walking out of his Los Alamos home and leaving behind his newly purchased car, his keys and wallet.

A friend of Chavez’s told police that he had been working with an unnamed Los Alamos scientist on the idea of being 'in two places at once,' a concept linked to quantum physics.

The theory stems from a phenomenon known as superposition, in which tiny particles can exist in multiple possible states at the same time and forms the basis of quantum computing and experiments in teleportation.

How Chavez was connected to, or was assisting, the Los Alamos scientists with potential experiments into superposition or quantum teleportation remains unclear.

However, working with quantum computers requires super-cooled environments that can reach -459.65°F in order for these particles to stay in their special quantum states - a problem that could require the services of a (heating, ventilating, air conditioning) specialist.

Now if you've been following all of the stories about this latest spate of missing scientists (and now, a heating and air conditioning repairman!), you'll have noticed one thing that many of them have in common: a sudden inexplicable disappearance with no clue as to why the person literally walked out of their life. In Mr. Chavez's case, leaving behind a new car, his keys, and his wallet. Notice too, that many of these stories, including allegations of what the missing scientist or technician were allegedly working on, are coming from The Daily Mail, the UK tabloid that many suspect of connections to the British intelligence community. Again, there is no support nor substantiation that Mr. Chavez was indeed working on super-position and teleportation. Even more intriguing is the suggestion via Mr. Chavez that Los Alamos is no longer a hub of standard nuclear weapons research, but now into the most arcane areas of quantum mechanics, like superposition, quantum computing, non-locality, bi-location, and teleportation.  I have no difficulty imagining that Los Alamos would be working on such things. I have a great deal of difficulty believing that Mr. Chavez would be in on it, and have even greater difficulty in why the Daily Mail seems to be picking up on these stories.

Viewed separately, I have no difficulty believing that the ultimate sponsors of such projects would resort to "disappearances" and even "death while jogging in the middle of a head-on collision of two vehicles" in order to keep their secrets and protect and promote certain narratives. But what if all these clusters of disappearances and deaths, from Reagan's Star Wars physicists to the bioweapons death-and-disappearance cluster, to the homeopathic doctor deaths, to the banker deaths and now, the "UFO-related" deaths, what if all of them are related. What if we have been looking at one very large pattern rather than slightly smaller and seemingly unrelated ones?  What could possibly relate them all?

All of those projects would require large amounts of very covert money and a covert financial system to sustain them, hence, the bankers. All the rest, I suspect, are related to the UFO, for that would require both an advanced physics component both to analyze the phenomenon, and to defend against it. It would in turn, require a hefty biological and pathological component to analyze any life forms, and threats to human life.  After all, one need not have to resort to lasers and other exotic weapons to defeat "ET" when a simple bacterium will do, ala H.G.Wells' War of the Worlds scenario.

Minimally, then, we are looking at perhaps a combination of things: careful narrative preparation,  propaganda curation, and protection of secrets. Additionally, we could be looking at some evidence for a player or group that is not part of all of this, and wishes to expose it, or at a faction within all of these projects intent on raising interest in all of it, and exposing it. In any case, the phenomena are hardly finished. For the moment, we must keep a skeptical eye on all of it.
