Some say a battle won, if only a small one. Today’s topic, . . . another battle won. A small portion of an estimated larger conflict.
Will the ugly face of treachery be met again by way of a tainted prosecution in favour of the criminally bent supported in the shadows by the palindrome soroS . . . ?
The idea of the interplanetary slave trade has been touched on by Robert A. Heinlein in his novel Citizen of the Galaxy and even by Andre Norton in some of her novels. That would be the perfect way to dispose of the evidence and make a whooping profit as well.
What about a hidden labour force for the secret space program, off planet? If these people have been kidnapped there is no limit to where they could end up. If there is terraforming going on on Mars then you are going to need labour. On an even more gruesome note I would not put it past the creeps in charge to pawn these sex slaves out to extraterrestrials. As part of an exchange transaction or for purely business purposes alone or for human sacrifice.
If it’s human organs they want then this business looks set to increase with the ghastly Quackzine injuries, going to need a lot of hearts and they have to come from somewhere?
I just watched the movie, Whistleblower, starring Rachael Weisz a few days ago on Amazon Prime. The movie is from 2011 and is based on a true story about an American police officer who joins the UN Peace Keeping Forces during the civil war in Yugoslavia in the 1990’s, who uncovers a sex trafficking ring involving military contractors, local police and UN “peacekeepers”. She kept hitting a brick wall in her efforts to rescue the girls. The police would raid the bar under pressure and remove the victims only to return them to the traffickers rather than taking them to the safe house. Weisz’ character was finally fired and forced to return to the States, but she managed to smuggle out evidence and went to the press. Some of the people involved in the trafficking were removed from the war zone, but not one ever faced prosecution. A very harrowing and disturbing story, but sadly all too common.
Wars, large natural disasters, extreme poverty and large scale drug abuse create lots of orphans and people that won’t be missed. I began to suspect a long time ago this might be the real reason for endless unnecessary wars and drug distribution.
